(AllHipHop News) Young Buck called into DJ Whoo Kid’s Shade 45 radio program to talk about various topics. One of the main points of interest for some rap fans is whether Buck is willingly to reunite with 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo as the G-Unit. The recently freed Buck speaks on his current situation with G-Unit and 50.

“This is not a G-Unit reunion. It’s not me signing with G-Unit,” explains Buck. “I haven’t even spoke with 50 in years. I wish him all the best. I don’t got no ill will in me. I was taught from the very beginning, you can forgive, but don’t forget.”
Buck also announces that his bankruptcy situation has been officially settled. According to Buck, he paid off his debts while still in prison and went on to buy back some of his items confiscated during an IRS raid.
“I paid my own bankruptcy off from the penitentiary,” says Buck. “My picture was being painted as if Buck is broke and Buck ain’t got s**t, but in reality Buck been straight for a long time.”

(AllHipHop News) Bun B is one half of the legendary southern Hip Hop group UGK. He is also a professor at Rice University and potential political candidate. With those credentials as an artist, educator, and possible politician, Bun spoke with MSNBC’s NewsNation with Tamron Hall about the ongoing practice of the criminal justice system using rap lyrics to convict suspects of crimes.

The discussion stemmed from reports that the New Jersey Supreme Court was reviewing whether a defendant’s lyrics is admissible as evidence in trial. According to Bun, every rapper should not be held criminally accountable for artistic speech.
“If someone chooses to incriminate themselves that’s their own thing,” says Bun. “Once we open this door to start just going through everyone’s rap lyrics to try to find crime in there, I think that’s where we have the problem.”
There have already been several recorded incidences of rappers’ lyrical content used as evidence against them in criminal cases. In July of 2013, Virginia rapper Antwain “Twain Gotti” Steward was charged with several crimes, including murder, after police cited his lyrics in a YouTube video about the alleged killings as admission of guilt.
In August of 2013, Deyundrea “Khali” Holmes’ first-degree robbery and murder convictions were held up by the Nevada Supreme Court. The court ruled that Holmes’ “Drug Deala” song, allegedly detailing the crime, could be used as a confession in court.
While not specifically speaking about any particular case of rap lyrics being used as evidence, Bun does elaborate on his belief that a rap artist’s constitutional right to free speech should allow him or her to present an artistic view of the world around them.
“As an artist, I want to be free to speak my mind, my opinions, my outlook on the world. If I’m speaking in hate against people then that’s a different issue,” adds Bun. “But if I’m just expressing my viewpoints about different things that I see in society, different things I see going on in the world, then I don’t see why there should be an issue with me expressing that viewpoint. We see it in all forms of music, not just rap music. So why shouldn’t we be able to speak our minds?”
Bun goes on to talk about how Hip Hop shines a light on the struggles of the inner city for the rest of the world to see and hopefully seek change. He also addresses rumors that he may run for mayor of Houston, Texas in 2015 which he says is not practical. He would consider going for a seat on the city council in the future.

The last time Jean Pascal appeared on HBO was two years ago. He was making history, but not in the way he had originally envisioned going into his rematch with Bernard Hopkins. Like numerous young fighters before him, he found himself on the wrong side of a unanimous decision to then 47 year old master. Afterward, Pascal faded from view due to injuries and contract issues until launching his comeback on December 2012 and beating two second-tier opponents since.
The fighter Jean Pascal faces Saturday night (January 18) is Lucian Bute, and it’s a “superfight” that marks a return to elite competition for both men. While the fight has drawn much attention in Montreal with over 20,000 paid fans, questions remain regarding if these two men still have the ability, and more importantly, the mindset, to deliver world-class performances.
In this exclusive interview with Knockout Nation, Jean Pascal answers the criticism about being a “four-round fighter, why he’ll defeat Bute, and how the Hopkins fights made him a better fighter.
Knockout Nation: This is a significant fight for Canada and the light-heavyweight division overall. How did you adjust your training for it?
Jean Pascal: I basically approached this fight as it’s the biggest of my life and career. This fight is Canada’s Pacquiao-Mayweather. I know Bute will be well-prepared but so am I. I went all the way to Big Bear [California] to get away from any distractions to remain focused. One thing that people don’t understand is that you win the fight at training camp, not press conferences. When I train good, no one should beat me.
Knockout Nation: It’s interesting you bring that up about focus because the knock on you is that you are, as Hopkins coined, a four-round fighter that lacks stamina and focus. Do you feel this camp has completely eradicated those bad habits?
Pascal: Well, people make me laugh. The only fight that I faded was against Bernard Hopkins in the first fight. The reason was because I didn’t have the proper training. I trained hard, but sometimes hard is not enough. You need the good work.
If you look at my second fight with Bernard, I finished strong and stunned him in the 12th round. Even though the judges gave him the 12th, I don’t know how or why, but he was stung if you look at the fight. With Dawson, exploding the last minute was a tactic. I told myself I’ll let Dawson punch himself out the first two minutes of the round and then I’m gonna come on strong every round until I knock him out. If he’s still around in the 12th, I’m gonna go all out for the KO. That was a technical approach for me.
Saying I fade or only fight for a minute every round is not true. People think just because it’s a big rush for a minute I’m not doing anything else. I’m boxing the entire round. I am an accomplished fighter that knows what he’s doing.
Knockout Nation: You’ve had a year-plus layoff before. However, you had the luxury of coming back against a lower-level tune-up opponent. Bute is jumping right back into the elite level. Knowing what you went through, how rusty and gun-shy do you expect him to be early on?
Pascal: Honestly, it’s hard to say. It’s all about confidence – if we see a lack of it like in the Grachev fight, he’s going to be in a lot of trouble. Boxing is 75% mental and 25% physical. I don’t think it’s going to be a war because I don’t think Bute wants that. I think it will be a chess game. But if he wants to brawl, I’ll be ready for a war.
Knockout Nation: I noticed you were ringside at the Dawson fight with 50 Cent. Any plans for you guys to do business in the future, boxing or otherwise?
Pascal: Who knows? 50’s a friend of mine but we really don’t talk too much about boxing business. He’s a cool dude to hang around. He very gentle, simple and down earth – that’s what I like about him. We may do business in the future.

(AllHipHop News) One of the most illustrious and flawless professional boxing careers of all time has an end date. At a recent gala dinner in South Africa last night(January 17th), Floy Mayweather is reported to have said “September 2015” will be the date of his final fight.
Unfortunately Associated Press‘ report might have decreased the chances of the showdown with Manny Pacquio that has been anticipated for years. This past Wednesday (January 15th), Mayweather stated that Britain’s Amir Khan and Argentina’s Marcos Maidana are the two contenders for possible opponents in his May 3rd fight in Las Vegas.
Floyd Mayweather started his professional boxing career in 1996 and is a perfect 45-0 with 26 knockouts.
(AllHipHop News) With hilariously brag lyrics such as “never had a pretty woman keep me in the friend zone” littered throughout their upcoming debut album Lord Steppington, it is completely normal to end up discussing anti-aging techniques with Evidence and Alchemist. In an exclusive interview with AllHipHop, the brothers of step discussed
It’s 2014 and both men, who have each been in active in the music industry for over 15 years, understands their penchant for pop culture references could be be lost in generational translation. Evidence explains why he rapped “we got to move these refrigerators/we got to move these color TVs” on the chorus for “Mr. Kimble” from Lord Steppington:
That reference is from a group called Dire Straits. That song [“Money For Nothing”] came out in 1984.
Even with the changing age of the hip hop listeners, the pair have always remained relevant. Evidence says the physical preservation is all due to a rather unorthodox method:
The fountain of youth is p*ssy juice. If you put p*ssy juice all over your face, you wash your face and you bathe in it, you won’t age. Have chicks sit on your face as much as possible.

Washington D.C.police have launched an internal affairs investigation into statements made by a police officer who responded to reports that Chris Brown had punched a man outside a hotel.
The investigation centers on a disputed conversation between the officer and an unidentified acquaintance of Brown.
The acquaintance reported being told by the officer that the alleged victim said Brown never hit him, according to the police records. The officer was then interviewed by detectives and denied having even spoken with the acquaintance. However, a uniformed Secret Service officer at the scene told detectives that he overheard the conversation with the officer and confirmed the acquaintance’s story. The accuser also denied having told anyone that Brown never struck him, the documents state.
An Associated Press reporter who had previously asked the police department about that conversation was contacted this week by an internal affairs investigator assigned to the probe. The investigator confirmed a review was underway.
“We are aware of the discrepancy among witness statements in the Chris Brown case. This is not uncommon in cases with multiple witnesses involved. We have received no complaint of misconduct on the part of any officer in this matter,” Police Chief Cathy Lanier said in a written statement.
In an interview Thursday, Lanier added, “Nobody has accused anybody of lying. One person says one thing, one person says something else. Nobody has made an allegation that an officer is lying or covering anything up.”
Brown was charged with assault after a man said Brown and his bodyguard punched him after he tried to get into a picture while the singer was taking with two other individuals.
I just got some tidbits of messy information that picks up from the last rumor we heard about Amina Buddafly of Love and Hip-Hop. This source says that Amina Buddafly really is pregnant by hubby Peter Gunz. There’s speculation floating around about the alleged pregnancy that she has neither confirmed nor denied. However, said source says it’s official.
Amina Buddafly and Peter Gunz are still married and living together but Peter Gunz is not doing right by wifey. He allegedly still cheats on her, like we’re surprised, and Amina is still holding on to the hope that she and Gunz can be a happy family.
The rest of us call that turning a blind eye, but were we really shocked? No.
You know what the old folks say, how you get ’em is how you keep ’em, a leopard won’t change it’s spot and all that jazz.
(AllHipHop News) T-Pain’s unorthodox ways led him to reimagining autotune, but also to keeping his marriage fun. During his recent interview on The Arsenio Hall Show T-Pain shed the autotune and demonstrated his natural singing voice as well as shed a little light on the private relationship of him and his wife.
T-Pain did not invent or introduce autotune to the world and he even reveals he used the software “incorrectly” but claims that mistake became “a new era of music.” Pain points out that musicians such as legendary Roger Troutman used a vocoder which requires one to have a connected tube in their mouth while playing their instrument. Later he put to rest all doubts of his singing ability and sang a bit of “Buy You A Drink” live.
The always loquacious singer/producer revealed an interesting way him and his wife of 11 years, Amber Najm keep their relationship “fun”. According to Pain, him and his wife travel the world and occasionally “involve other people in our marriage”:
Sometimes we have extraordinary partners. We like to travel around the world and go to different strip clubs and see what those are about. Sometimes the employees, we like to see what those are about too. It keeps it fun. It keeps it real nice and fun.

Not sure how it’s possible to forget about a child but it happened.
A school bus driver in Houston faces felony child endangerment charges after she accidentally left a child alone on a bus while she went to Zumba class.
Via Khou:
Administrators at Fonwood Early Childhood Center placed a call to the child’s parents to confirm the absence for the day, which is standard procedure. The child was supposed to be in school, however, arriving by Garcia Bus Co.
Authorities immediately began searching for the child, who was found unharmed inside the parked bus at a facility where Contreras was attending a workout session.
Contreras did not see the child on the bus when she dropped the other kids off at school and did not check the bus thoroughly before ending her route, according to investigators.
Her bail was set at $2,000.
