Hip Hop Rumors: Baby On The Way For Rick Ross?

Smh. Well the Puerto Rican Princess may have some serious explaining to do. Media Takeout is reporting that Stevie J made moves after finding that not only has she been carrying on an affair with Rick Ross, but may be carrying his baby.

“We’re told that Joseline is CURRENTLY PREGNANT, and that the child most likely belongs to rapper RICK ROSS – whom she’s been carrying on an affair with for months.

The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, “Stevie didn’t know she was cheating on him, and since he uses condoms, he didn’t think she’d end up pregnant. . . But when he learned of her scandalous ways, he confronted her and she basically told him what was going on.”

Once Stevie found out just how SCANDALOUS Joseline is (we could have told him), he DUMPED HER. Now he’s on Twitter talking about how he will NEVER AGAIN trust a female.

Oh, and the insider claims that the Puerto Rican princess has not decided on what she wants to do with the child she’s carrying.”

Something must be going on, considering that Stevie is coming across a tad bit bitter via Twitter.

Hip Hop Rumors: French Montana A Deadbeat Dad?

In this week’s edition of deadbeat news, rapper French Montana’s estranged wife claims that he does nothing for their son while he’s out showering Khloe with gifts.

A source close to Deen Kharbouch, French’s wife told RadarOnline that he has abandoned his 4-year-old son to live the high-life with the reality star.

“Referencing the new $50,000 Jeep Montana bought Kardashian for her big day, the source said, “French has purchased a vehicle for someone who doesn’t need it. But he’s insisted that he would not pay for his child to go to school!”

Not to mention, the source claims the “Ballin Out” singer is splashing cash on Kardashian that he simply doesn’t have.

“He’s [not just] blowing his money [but] his wife’s money too!” the source exclaimed, referring to Montana’s ex, Kharbouch, who’d been Puff Daddy’s protégé since 2006 — until they started divorce proceedings in 2012.

Despite Montana’s fame in the rap community, “He’s not a millionaire,” the source insisted. “That’s what he does. He makes other people think he’s on top. He’s a con man. And if the Kardashians are falling for that, that’s his MO.”

As Radar previously reported, the rapper surprised the reality star with a diamond ring and blinged-out grills for her 30th birthday last Thursday.

But while he’s been spending dough like a high roller and hanging with his newly-adopted TV family, the 29-year-old Moroccan native (real name Karim Kharbouch) hasn’t seen his son Kruz in months, the insider claims.

“Kruz has not seen or spoken to his father in over six months. Nor has his father inquired about Kruz’s well being in over six months,” continued the source, adding that the star didn’t call or visit with his little boy on Father’s Day.

“Since the fame, he’s been a deadbeat,” the source said, although Montana is up-to-date with all child support obligations. “He also threw a birthday bash for this woman and did not attend his son’s pre-school graduation! His son was the only child without a father present.””

Deadbeats are a no go and if you’re going to lay up with one, Khloe you’re just as wrong too…

Iggy Azalea Addresses Nicki Minaj/BET Awards Controversy

(AllHipHop News) Now that Nicki Minaj has come out and stated that she did not intend to slight Iggy Azalea with her much talked about speech at the BET Awards this weekend, Iggy is now addressing the issue publicly as well.

Many people suspected when the Young Money rapper offered her “when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it” line after picking up the trophy for Best Female Hip Hop Artist, she was subtly directed those words at fellow nominee Iggy Azalea.

Minaj later tweeted out a message denying she was throwing shots at the “Fancy” performer and claimed the media put words in her mouth.

Nicki’s tweets are a change of tone from earlier in her career. Her comments on female Hip Hop artists writing their own lyrics were more combative back in 2008. She rapped “How the f**k you in the game like ten years strong? Y’all b***hes still can’t write your own damn song?” during her breakout freestyle on The Come Up DVD.

Iggy also went to social media to give her response to the controversy, and she is looking to move past the entire matter too. She posted a note on Instagram and then continued her statement on Twitter.

This is my mind state about everything & the only time I’m ever going to refer to this again so go nuts guys, Enjoy it. Ps. If you squint exxxtra hard you can see tiny elves having illuminati meetings between the lines in my notes app too. ?

Iggy’s “Fancy” featuring Charli XCX is spending its sixth week in the top spot. That passes Lil Kim’s previous record of five weeks with “Lady Marmalade” in 2001. Kim’s collaboration with Christina Aguilera, Mýa, and Pink was included on the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack.

Only four female rappers have ever reached number one on the Hot 100. Lauryn Hill was the first to accomplish that feat in 1998 with “Doo Wop (That Thing)” off the Grammy winning The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. “Doo Wop” spent two weeks at number one.

The only other femcee to hit #1 is Shawnna. She stayed in the peak position for one week as a guest feature on Ludacris’ “Stand Up” in 2003.

Iggy wrote on Instagram:

Pretty good way to start July! Lots of motivation to continue to work hard. I’m putting all my energy into black widow now & hoping you’ll love the video for it as much as you all enjoyed fancy. eek! I’m nervous but excited.

Iggy’s The New Classic LP is currently at number 19 on the Billboard 200 album chart. It peaked at number three and has sold around 210,000 units to date.

Producer Cardo Says Jeezy & Jay Z Received "Seen It All" Beat By Mistake

(AllHipHop News) When two big names like Jay Z and Jeezy jump on a producer’s track, that’s a big moment even if it’s by accident. Jeezy’s latest song “Seen It All” featuring Jay Z was produced by Cardo, and the Texas bred beat maker revealed the track was never intended for Jigga and the Snowman.

“I never had Jeezy or Jay Z in mind for it; Big Sean was a person I pictured on it, and Travis Scott,” Cardo tells MTV. “I sent [it] to Jeezy by accident. I had two beats named under the same [name] in my folder for some reason and it got duplicated. I don’t know what happened; sometimes I’ll name the beat the same thing for some damn reason.”

Jeezy repeatedly reached out to the buzzing producer once he got hold of the beat in 2013. Initially, Cardo did not know that Jay added a verse to the track. While some of his friends were given previews of the song, Cardo did not become aware of the Roc Nation boss’ contribution until much later.

Besides producing the lead single off Jeezy’s next album, Cardo has also worked with Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, Meek Mill, Curren$y, and Snoop Dogg.

“Sometimes, God, that’s how he works,” added Cardo on the circumstances of how “Seen It All” came together.

Katt Williams Being Investigated For Allegedly Pulling A Gun Following Comedy Show

Police officials state Williams was not performing at the location, but they received a 911 call around 2 am local time reporting the entertainer got into a verbal altercation with an unidentified man. Williams had left the site by the time deputies arrived.

The supposed victim and witnesses at the scene spoke with police. They claim Williams flashed a handgun and threatened the man. A warrant has not be issued for Williams as of yet.

“The victim filed a report. Obviously we’d like to hear Mr. Williams’ side of the story,” said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Sgt. Dave Valentine.

Williams told TMZ he did not have a gun at the venue. He says he was threatened by “gang members.” Four men supposedly followed him to his car and then assaulted him.

Williams has been in trouble with the law in the past. He was arrested in 2006 for carrying a concealed gun at LAX airport. The Friday After Next star was also arrested several times in 2012 and again in 2013 for missing arraignment for a previous charge.

Christian Rappers Flame & Lecrae Sue Katy Perry & Juicy J Over "Dark Horse"

(AllHipHop News) According to reports, a couple of Christian rap artists have filed a lawsuit against pop star Katy Perry. The rappers Flame and Lecrae claim that Perry’s#### single “Dark Horse” featuring Juicy J stole from their 2008 song “Joyful Noise.”

The case was filed in federal court in St. Louis, Missouri. Not only do the plaintiffs accuse Perry of infringing on their copyright, but they also believe their own song has been damaged because of “Dark Horse.”

“And by any measure, the devoutly religious message of ‘Joyful Noise’ has been irreparably tarnished by its association with the witchcraft, paganism, black magic, and Illuminati imagery evoked by the same music in ‘Dark Horse,'” the suit reads.

The lawsuit was filed by Flame, Lecrae, Chike Ojukwu, and Emanuel Lambert. Perry, Juicy, Dr. Luke, Capitol Records, and others are named as defendants.

Lupe Fiasco Explains Only Getting Paid For 11 Records & History With Jay Z

(AllHipHop News) Lupe Fiasco has been working on his next album Tetsuo & Youth for a few years. The Chicago emcee is now currently in the process of narrowing down which songs will make the final tracklist.

Speaking with Skee Live, Lupe explains that he has to cut the project down to eleven tracks because his label will only pay him for that number of songs.

“I only get paid for eleven records,” says Lu. “There’s a cap on your royalties where the record label only pays you for eleven records, and in my position anything over eleven records is not just free, it actually pulls money out of my royalties.”

Lupe also gives shout outs to other rappers Ab-Soul and Big K.R.I.T., and in another segment he discusses his history with Jay Z.

“Jay the homie. I was going to sign to Roc-A-Fella like in 2002-2003,” states Lupe. “I just built this rapport with Jay. Being able to go to Baseline [Studios] and see him put together joints like The Black Album and be a part of that, give him joints for that. So he’s always been in the mix. Not so much the past couple of albums, the past few years. Still the homie though.”

Jay Z was credited as an executive producer on Lupe’s first studio LP Food & Liquor. He appeared on the song “Pressure” off the album as well.

Nicki Minaj Denies Dissing Iggy Azaela At The BET Awards

(AllHipHop News) Nicki Minaj gave the disclaimer of “no shade” during her acceptance speech for the BET Award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist after implying other female rappers did not write their own lyrics.

On her personal Twitter account, Nicki Minaj stated the perceived feud between Iggy Azaela and herself is merely a product of the media’s sensationalism. According to Nicki, she has congratulated Azaela on her success in the past and her speech was simply to empower women to write their own lyrics:

RΛZΛH RΛHZ aka Rahzel Jr. – "The Culture" (P###. by !llmind)

Rahzel Jr., son of the legendary beat boxer Rahzel of The Roots, brings the heat with his latest record, “The Culture,” a tribute to the hip hop culture we know and love.

“The Culture” is hip hop for hip hop fans, by a hip hop fan who’s grown up with the culture–and those who’ve shaped it–firsthand.
