Gucci Mane Reportedly Dropped By Atlantic Records; Rapper Now Claims His Twitter Was Hacked

(AllHipHop News) Gucci Mane’s tirade on Twitter may have been sparked by the Atlanta rapper reportedly getting dropped by Atlantic Records. The Fader is reporting that an anonymous former label rep confirmed that Gucci and Atlantic have parted ways.

“He’s not with Atlantic anymore,” said the source. Gucci is not listed on Atlantic Records’ official website while Brick Squad member Waka Flocka is still presented as an Atlantic artist on the site.

Fader is also reporting that Gucci and manager Coach K are no longer working together either. Rumors have been circulating for a while that the relationship between Gucci and Coach K was not on the best of terms.

Xbox Music To Allow Streaming On Mobile Devices

(AllHipHop News) The music streaming wars continue with the latest move being made by Microsoft’s Xbox Music. Previously only available through the Xbox game console and Windows 8, the service is now expanding to allow customers to access the app via their Android and iOS mobile devices. It is the first entertainment service from Microsoft to be available on Google and Apple software.

“It’s really to fill out the number of places where a Microsoft customer may want to use their music,” said Xbox’s principal program manager Scott Porter according to Los Angeles Times.

Xbox Music launched in October of 2012. Service subscribers who pay the $10/month or $100/year fee can listen to almost 30 million songs.

The forthcoming free service will give users the chance to stream music for six months. Afterwards users will only be able to use the service for a maximum of ten hours per month. A web-based radio feature is planning to launch in the coming months as well.

Microsoft is just one of tech giants looking to make mobile streaming a bigger part of the company’s portfolio. Apple launched iTunes Radio in June, and Twitter introduced its own music app recently as well. They all are competing against other music streaming apps from Google, Spotify, Rdio, and Pandora.

Daily Word: Endure Then Thrive!

Happy Tuesday my tremendous talented tenacious goal setters! Welcome to the day you put life to the saying “No Pain, No Gain” Today’s Daily Word is dedicated enduring your struggles in order to thrive! In today’s society there is such a disdain for obstacles, struggle and pain that everyone tries to do everything in their power to avoid it not realizing that going through the pain is the best way to reach your dreams and aspirations! Not just for the sake of going through pain but for the lessons and endurance that is built by knowing for sure that absolutely nothing can stop you! Imagine the pain that the caterpillar goes through in order to be a butterfly! Or imagine the hell the coal had to endure in order to be that raw uncut diamond! Stop running away from the pain and run towards it! As Orson F. Whitney once said “No pain that we suffer, no trial that we experience is wasted. It ministers to our education, to the development of such qualities as patience, faith, fortitude and humility. All that we suffer and all that we endure, especially when we endure it patiently, builds up our characters, purifies our hearts, expands our souls, and makes us more tender and charitable, more worthy to be called a warrior of life . . . and it is through sorrow and suffering, toil and tribulation, that we gain the education that we come here to acquire and which will make us more like our higher power.” Again my good people…. NOTHING CAN STOP YOU BUT YOU!!!

“Winning isn’t about finishing in first place. It isn’t about beating the others. It is about overcoming yourself. Overcoming your body, your limitations, and your fears. Winning means surpassing yourself and turning your dreams into reality.”

“No matter how much falls on us, we have to keep plowing ahead. That’s the only way to keep the roads clear.”
-Greg Kincaid

“Life isn’t a lazy cruise on some endless, calm and temperate sea. Life is a raging ocean with swells and tidal waves that wreck and sink your boat. Life is a series of storms – overcast skies, fierce winds, and pelting rain. You were meant to be immersed in it all – first to float, then swim, and eventually to walk on water.”

Rock the Bells L.A. in Pics (Part 3 – The Finale)

Hats off to Guerilla Union for putting on a memorable Rock the Bells this year. Not only did it see the use of Eazy-E and ODB digital re-creations, but there was a real nice variety of Hip-Hop acts ranging from underground to mainstream, whether they were new, established or legendary. Fans braved the 100 degree weather and long hours in San Bernardino County to share a bond with their favorite artists and hopefully many got to experience that and create memories that will always be cherished. It’s one thing to hear an artist on your iPod or car sound system, but to be able to see and hear one live in the midst of other people that enjoy their music just as much as you do, really takes it to another level. For myself, it was yet another much needed reminder of why I fell in love with Hip-Hop in the first place as I watched Tech N9ne perform “Einstein,” Dilated Peoples perform “Worst comes to Worst,” the Jurassic 5 harmonize in unison, legends like Rakim, KRS-One, Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh lay out the blueprints upon which Hip-Hop was built, and new stars like Black Hippy, YG, A$AP Rocky, Dom Kennedy and J. Cole showing us why they are the future. Of course the cherry on top of the cake was having legendary groups like Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and the Wu-Tang Clan take us all back down memory lane with classic jams upon classic jams. A big thank you goes out to Guerilla Union and their staff for allowing AllHipHop.com to be a part of it all and letting us do our thing. Check out our final picture Gallery of Rock the Bells below! We’ve got Rapsody, 9th Wonder, Deltron 3030, Prof, Dizzy Wright, Freeway, Danny Brown, Freddie Gibbs, Joey Badass, Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick, Rakim, A$AP Rocky, Dom Kennedy, Hopsin, Lecrae, Dilated Peoples, Trinidad James, J. Cole and last but not least, The Wu-Tang Clan. ‘Til next year! (AllHipHop News) It has long been established that Kanye West will do whatever he wants whenever he wants and that includes randomly performing on nationally syndicated talk shows. Kanye West made a surprise visit to Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to perform “Bound 2” for the first time ever.

According to Fallon, West’s performance was completely impromptu:

Recently, electronic music producer/DJ Hudson Mohawke revealed that a prequel/sequel to “Bound 2”, aptly entitled “Bound 1” exists but will never be released:

Nicki Minaj, Tyga Comment On Gucci's Twitter Tirade

(AllHipHop News) In the aftermath a tweeting rampage apparently from Gucci Mane, Tyga and Nicki Minaj have responded to the Atlanta rapper.

Earlier in the day, Gucci dissed a number of people including Jeezy, Waka Flocka, Drake, 2 Chainz and like his record label and XXL Magazine.

Nicki Minaj shot down number of Gucci’s assertions, including the notion that she sleep with him. She also said that she and fellow Young Money rapper Tyga declined to be featured on Gucci’s next album.

And Tyga went in as well. Gucci charged that he and Waka had sex with Tyga’s childs mother, Chyna.

Others have yet to respond to tweets from Gucci’s account. Most insiders have theorized that the rapper’s Twitter account had not been compromised or hacked.

Lil Wayne Says He's Ready To Retire

(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne appeared on the debut of “Katie,” the new show from legendary host Katie Couric, and proclaimed that he was ready to retire.

He proclaimed it was time for his duties as a parent to kick in when he hits 35.

“I know I’ll be ready to retire at thirty-five because I am so ready to retire now!” said the father of four.
“Whatever they want to do. I don’t want to have no influence … ‘Hey you must do this, you must do that,'” he said. “Because I didn’t have that and because I didn’t have that I grew up to be exactly what I wanted to be and how I wanted to be. I want that for all of my kids.”

At 30, the Young Money mogul still has some entertaining to do.

He recently released Dedication 5 with DJ Drama. The opus has received mixed reviews.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Gucci Mane Goes Nuts On Twitter! Disses EVERYBODY!

I mean, seriously – who has time for this? I sure don’t! Gucci loses it on Twitter and simply disses everybody you can think of. Everybody from specific names at Atlantic Records to Nicki Minaj to Ciara to Waka to Jeezy to Rick Ross to Vanessa, the editor-in-chief at XXL mag to….his own girl, Keyshia D’oir! Wow! I can’t put all this into a write up or I’d be writing up something all day. So, look below!

He took the bridge, burned it, then took the ashes, burned them, then took what’s left and smoked it!

This is like the Bizarro Kendrick Lamar!
