(AllHipHop News) French p### star Celine Tran is about to be $79,346.07 richer at the expense of Cash Money rapper Bow Wow according to TMZ.
Tran sued Bow Wow (real name Shad Moss) last year for using footage of her from the video “Conspiracy Strip Club” by Parisian electro-rock duo Electronic Conspiracy in his visuals for the song “Drank in My Cup” without her permission.
The federal judge in the case ordered Bow Wow to pay nearly $80,000 in damages and attorney’s fees since Moss refused to reply to the lawsuit.
Bow Wow was also told to stop using Tran’s likeness immediately.
This was just one lawsuit Bow Wow was served for in 2012. He was also taken to court last fall by the mother of his child for child support.

The court cases haven’t stopped the 106 and Park host from his original occupation- making music. He recently released his latest mixtape Greenlight 5. He’s planning to drop his 7th studio album, Underrated, sometime in 2013.

(AllHipHop News) Maybach Music Group member Meek Mill was back in court Friday to address concerns from his probation officer that the Philly born emcee violated the terms of his probation.
Philadelphia probation officer Treas Underwood and Assistant District Attorney Noel A. DeSantis told a judge in a 2-hour hearing that Meek Mill (Robert Williams) left the state of Pennsylvania without filing a travel plan that lists the time, date, address, and phone number for Meek’s exact locations.
[ALSO READ: Judge Restricts Meek Mill’s Travel]
Meek’s alleged reluctance to inform his probation officer is a direct violation of a federal law that requires Underwood to know where he is at all times especially if he leaves the city of Philadelphia.
She told the judge that Meek often would not let her know his whereabouts until after he had already arrived.
Meek offered an explanation on why he has not been able to fully comply with sharing his upcoming locations with Underwood beforehand.
“The problem is that I don’t know,” Williams said. “It changes every day.”
He also explained that he doesn’t directly handle his travel plans, and he assigned his attorney, Gary Silver, to pass on that information to Underwood.
Meek also made the case that at the moment it’s better for him to be in his hometown as little as possible.
“My best thing is to stay traveling,” Meek said in the hearing. “Every time I come back to Philadelphia, someone tries to shoot me or get me back in trouble.”
Underwood continued her insistence that it is still solely Meek’s responsibility to contact her with his travel arrangements.
“But you’re supposed to call me,” she told Meek.
Apparently, Meek Mill and Treas Underwood have a combative history. Meek claimed that he and Underwood had known each other from growing up in the same neighborhood in North Philadelphia.
That animosity played out in court as Underwood, Meek, and his attorney continuously interrupted each other.
Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley told the parties involved, “You folks are just going to have to work it out,” and refused to grant Meek a new probation officer.
Meek Mill started his 5-year probation sentence in 2009 after serving eight months for a drug and gun conviction.

We’ve been hearing about the flood of people that have gone to see Wayne, but only a few real names have popped up in the headlines. TMZ has all the juice right now with this story, but I am hearing something they may have missed. I’m getting word that Karrine Steffans may have gotten in the hospital unnoticed by the paps outside of Cedar Sinai. As you know, these two have had an interesting relationship to the point where she wrote a whole book about him. Seems like they are dating, but that may be the wrong word. And they have flirted around with the notion that she’s preggers with his kid. That, I don’t know. Still up in the air.
That’s that.

Tone Loc was in the Hawkeye State as a part of the Saint Patrick’s Day Bridge Bash, a show held on the Court Avenue Bridge that crosses the Des Moines River.
The Des Moines Register reports that Tone Loc finished performing a song and then fell to the stage. The Los Angeles born rapper was attended to for about five minutes. Concert organizers then shut down the show and asked attendees to leave the scene.

I’ve not a clue what this is all about, but Chrissy Lampkin, Jim Jones longtime girlfriend is posing nude for some reason or another. This seems to be some sort of modeling gig or something, because she’s posing. What is crazy is that she’s got those crazy dope tats! I never knew! Anyway, I hope this is something that Jim Jones is cool with, because I want no problems. A few years/months ago, Max B claimed to have something in his possession that Jim wouldn’t like. So, I’m in no way trying to diss.
I assumed it was a PETA ad or something. That is her, right?

(AllHipHop News) While at SXSW in Austin this weekend Black Mafia Family affiliate Bleu DaVinci spoke with the Sway in The Morning show about a range of topics including what’s next for the rapper and Big Meech’s reaction to Rick Ross’ hit single “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast)” where the Miami rapper compared himself to the convicted drug trafficker and founder of BMF Entertainment.
According to DaVinci, Meech (born Demetrius Flenory) saw the Ross line, “I think I’m Big Meech,” as a way of paying homage.
DaVinci says after contacting Meech about the single, both of whom were imprisoned at the time, Meech relayed a message back to him that he was a fan of the song and loved the fact that his name could be heard on the radio.

The “B.M.F.” song ignited an ongoing feud between former collaborators and labelmates Ross and Young Jeezy. Jeezy had been a longtime associate of Meech and BMF, and he apparently took offense to Ross’ use of the moniker. He eventually released a response record over the same beat- “Death Before Dishonor.”
Jeezy has a line on the track where he says:
This one’s for Baby Bleu/How you blowin money fast, you don’t know the crew? Oh you part of the fam, s### I never knew
The reference to Bleu in “Death Before Dishonor” was back in 2010, since then DaVinci and the entire BMF crew have had a falling out with Jeezy. He told Power 105.’s The Breakfast Club in early 2012 that BMF has issues with Jeezy now for not assisting with Meech’s lawyer fees but still claiming to be a part of Black Mafia Family.
As far as Ross shouting out BMF, DaVinci told Sway that he doesn’t feel anyone should have been offended by his ode to Big Meech.
“I didn’t have no issue with it. I don’t feel like anybody else should of had an issue with that,” says DaVinci. “Whoever can latch onto something we did or we doing and can better themselves from it, make some money, feed their kids, I’m with that.”
Bleu also extends his acceptance of others using the BMF brand to grow their own wealth to outside the music world.
“I’m not mad at people that put out books [about B.M.F.], or I’m not mad at people that do documentaries,” says Davinci. “As long as you ain’t running around doing something stupid and you doing something positive…That’s what we made this for.”

Bleu is moving the Black Mafia Family in a more positive direction overall. Since being released from prison he has been giving motivational speeches, sponsoring toy drives, and mentoring young people.
Up next is more music. DaVinci has been in the lab at Patchwerk Studios in Atlanta and has already recorded more that 150 songs.
Bleu DaVinci released his mixtape The Davinci Code hosted by DJ Scream in 2012. The project featured guest appearances from Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Pusha T, Bun B, and more.

I love and respect the creative ability of Lil Wayne, even if I am concerned about the content of his music. The brother is going through some difficult times, and as someone who saw the early deaths of Eazy-E and Tupac Shakur, it’s hard for me to see chickens coming home to roost in the life of a man whose talent has changed the world.
I mentioned Weezy during a three hour private conversation I had with Min. Louis Farrakhan and I’ll probably bring him up again when Farrakhan and I gather for a forum on the state of the black community in Chicago on March 30. I’ve listened to enough of Wayne’s music to know the lyrics by heart and I am not afraid to say that I both love the verses and detest them, all at the same time.
It’s hard, as a black man who’s studied psychology, to know that repeating lyrics that glorify violence, promiscuity and drug use are being pounded into the heads of little black boys before they even have a chance to choose what they are going to become. I’ve studied Wayne’s life carefully to try to understand where his message is coming from, and what kind of internal pain might lead a person to become so determined to destroy his own people. You might wonder why I am obsessed with Wayne’s genius, and the answer is quite simple: Wayne reminds me of Malcolm Little.
Both Lil Wayne and Malcolm Little were brilliant, brave, creative, charismatic, resourceful and ambitious. They were natural born leaders with the spiritual energy to tear through any obstacle that lay in their path. But they were also both disturbed products of the poison dropped on the brains of little black babies in hoods all across America. After seeing nearly every man in his family murdered by whites, Malcolm grew up with the kind of anger that led him to destroy himself and those around him. His tremendous power was being used for evil rather than good, and had he continued down that path, he would have wreaked untold amounts of havoc on the world.
Lil Wayne, like Malcolm Little, is a product of American racial oppression. Everything about Wayne, from his gang affiliations to his sexual promiscuity and numerous drug addictions, came from the “I don’t give a f*ck” attitude necessary for him to climb out of the depths of ghetto hell that defined his circumstances. Unfortunately, the recording industry has given Wayne a massive platform through which to spread his life philosophy onto the world, and it’s leading millions of black boys right to the penitentiary.
Wayne could have been another Malcolm X, but Malcolm X is what the caterpillar becomes when he’s grown into a butterfly. Being spoiled by money and power at an early age is enough to make any man arrogant, and I don’t think there’s anyone in Wayne’s camp who cares about him or the black community enough to do a serious intervention. As a result, one of the greatest black men in the history of the world lies in a hospital where he will either die or return to a lifestyle that is inherently suicidal. Just like there’s a prison cell built for every black boy in America, there is another hospital bed waiting for Lil Wayne, since it’s only a matter of time before he’s six feet underground.
I hope Wayne gets at least some of what I’m saying and that his friends care enough about him to intervene in his life. I hope he understands why you can’t go around comparing the face of Emmett Till to a woman’s v#####. I hope he realizes that rather than passing messages encouraging young black kids to engage in criminal behavior, he could do a whole lot more for the people he loves by fighting against the prison industrial complex. In other words, I remain hopeful that Lil Wayne can go through the same transition that made Malcolm Little into Malcolm X. His genius is too great to be wasted.

(AllHipHop News) Legendary comedian Steve Harvey has seen it all in his 28 year career which spans stand-up, television, movies and radio. In a recent feature with The Hollywood Reporter, the veteran funnyman claims Hollywood is more racist than America as a whole.
“Hollywood is still very racist,” Harvey says. “Hollywood is more racist than America is. They put things on TV that they think the masses will like. Well, the masses have changed. The election of President Obama should prove that. And television should look entirely different. [Scandal star] Kerry Washington should not be the first African-American female to head up a drama series in 40 years. In 40 years! That’s crazy.”
In another shocking revelation, the former star of the WB Television Network sitcom The Steve Harvey Show explains how African Americans are manipulated to help increase new television networks build audiences. According to Harvey, a WB executive once informed him new networks support shows featuring African Americans because they bring a guaranteed audience. However, once the network has developed a core fanbase “they slowly start phasing them out,” according to Harvey.
One of the hardest working men in showbiz is not letting some backwards racial thinking stop him progressing. The 2012 adaptation of his 2009 book Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man entitled Think Like A Man has grossed over over $96 million worldwide with a $12 million production budget. His hosting gig at Family Feud has helped increase their ratings by 155 percent and brings in seven million viewers.
(AllHipHop News) Neptune must be in retrograde or everyone’s plans for weekend crapped out but the claws have come out. While Gucci Mane attempts to sell Waka Flocka like old fruit at a Farmers Market and TMZ reports on Lil Wayne’s ICU visit, 9th Wonder gots into a heated Twitter disagreement with Detroit producer and longtime friend of the late J. Dilla, House Shoes.
The digital sparring came as a result of disparaging remarks House Shoes (birthname Michael Buchanan) made about the Zulu Nation.
After 9th Wonder’s tweet to House Shoe (apparent fulfilling his prophecy) the former Little Brother producer began challenging the outspoken House Shoes’ opinion on the Zulu Nation:
According to a September 2010 interview 9th Wonder had with The Examiner, the prolific producer has been a member of the Zulu Nation since Rock The Bells 2010. He was inducted by co-founder of Zulu Tribe Radio, DJ Mark Luv.
House Shoes is referred to as the “Detroit Hip Hop’s Ambassador” and was the resident DJ at famed Detroit club Saint Andrews Hall. He has worked with rappers such as Guilty Simpson, Danny Brown, Elzhi and a bevvy of others. From 1994 until Dilla’s unfortunate 2006 death, House Shoes remained a working relationship with Dilla, breaking all his new music at the popular establishment and striking up a personal bond.
House Shoes released his first full length project on June 19th, 2012 entitled Let It Go.

(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne’s hospital room has had a steady stream of visitors since he was hospitalized earlier in the week, according to reports.
Drake, Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers and others have visited the rap star after he was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A.
Drake ignored requests for comments by paps as he walked into the hospital last night, according to a report by TMZ. Paul also went in last night with a female companion.
The circumstances surrounding Wayne status remain mysterious.
A TMZ report claims he was in critical condition after allegedly binging on “Sizzurp.” Representatives for YMCMB and even friends like T.I. have refuted the notion, including the reports the star was in a coma.
Despite the conflicting reports, TMZ maintains that Wayne’s condition was “dire” and “critical,” where he had to have his stomach pumped three times to save his life.
