Hip-Hop Rumors: Bow Wow Is NOT The Gay Rapper

Last week, Bow Wow’s Twitter was hacked, and the hacker posted a photo of what appeared to be Bow Wow snuggling in bed with another man. The photo looked too real to be photoshopped, but could that actually be Bow Wow? Well, it turns out that the photo was real, but it wasn’t Bow Wow. The picture is actually of a gay couple who contacted Straight From The A to clear up the confusion when several of their friends told them they were posted online. Check out the picture below which proves that the photo is not of Bow Wow.

The photos were stolen from the couple’s Twitter pages, and somehow, the Bow Wow hacker used them to try to frame him as the”gay rapper”. You’re in the clear, Bow Wow!

Roc Marciano Signs With Decon; Drops Tracklisting For New Album "Reloaded"

Former Flipmode Squad member Roc Marciano is returning with his sophomore album, Reloaded.

The 15-track album is being released through a deal with Decon, which will also market and promote the new album.

Reloaded, which follows the Long Island rapper’s debut Marcberg, features production by The Alchemist, Q-Tip, The Arch Druids, Ray West and Roc Marciano himself.

In 2011, Roc Marciano released the critically acclaimed EP Greneberg as Gangrene, with The Alchemist and Oh No, on Decon.

Young Money/Cash Money Signs Production Crew The Olympicks

(AllHipHop News) Cash Money/Young Money Records is expanding their talent roster once again, with the acquisition of Michigan-based production team The Olympicks.

The Olympicks feature producers Knoxville, Flawless, BP and JayFab. Together, the production team has crafted hits for a wide range of artists, including Big Sean, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, 2Chainz, Kendrick Lamar and others.

”We’re really excited to be a part of the whole movement,” Olympick group member Knoxville told AllHipHop.com. ”We are ready to make history with Baby and the whole YMCMB team.”

The Olympicks have experienced success with Lil Wayne, earning gold and platinum plaques for their work on Lil Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Being, in addition to Rick Ross’ album Teflon Don. 

More details of the deal will be announced soon.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Lil' Wayne Finally Speaks Out About Drake and Chris Brown Club Brawl

Lil’ Wayne has been pretty hush-hush when it comes to the beef between YMCMB’s Drake and his friend and often collaborator, Chris Brown. Our friends over at MTV got Weezy to finally break his silence on the matter, and to our suprise, Lil Tunechi actually thinks that the situation is funny. Check out what he told Rahman Dukes from MTV below:

“I can’t front, I just laughed at ‘em, like, it’s funny to me. I thank God that I ain’t going through it though. I done been through too much.”

Well, Wayne didn’t say too much, but it’s good to hear that he’s not taking sides or taking the matter too seriously.

In related news, the people at club W.i.P that night are taking the matter very seriously and have slapped both Drake and Chris Brown with two lawsuits. One suit was filed by the club owner alleging that the two artists “ordered security personnel, bodyguards, friends and entourage to join the fight, which erupted into a violent brawl on a massive scale.” The second lawsuit comes from a NYC based male model who claims that he suffered “severe personal injuries” including a severed tendon on his right hand, thanks to the flying chards of glass. This is in addition to the 20 million dollar law suit filed by NBA star Tony Parker.

I think that celebrity fight worth millions may be looking a lot more tempting to Drake and Chris Brown. These lawsuits have merit and don’t seem to be going anywhere.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Kendrick Lamar Doesn't Want To Vote For Obama – Says "I Don't Do Voting"

Someone needs to tell Kendrick Lamar that whether he likes it or not, he’s now a role model, and comments like the one he just made about not voting are just unacceptable. In a sit down with Truth Is Scary, Kendrick expresses some not so popular sentiments about voting. Check out what he said below:

“My vote counts? I’m not voting, I don’t do no voting. I will keep it straight up real with you. I don’t believe in none of the sh*t that’s going on in the world,” Lamar said in an interview. “You talk with me, you talk with me for hours because everything has a contradiction, everything is higher ranking and way beyond us, way beyond people. So basically, do what you do, do good with your people and live your life because what’s going on isn’t really in our hands. … When I say the president can’t even control the world, then you definitely know there’s something else out there pushing the buttons. They could do whatever they want to do, we all puppets. Just play your cards right.”

FLICKS: Pink Dolphin Flagship Store Launch in Hollywood With Rihanna, Chris Brown, Chief Keef and More

In the midst of stars and all things Hollywood was the highly anticipated flagship store launch for Pink Dolphin at Playhouse Hollywood with Hardy Hollywood. The new store also recently hosted an in-store for one of the hottest rappers right now, 2 Chainz.

The launch brought out big names such as Rihanna, Rob Kardashian, Chris Brown, Sean Kingston, Lauren London, and many more. Chief Keef rocked the stage, giving an amazing performance to a packed house.

Pink Dolphin isn’t your ordinary clothing company. They believe in promoting positivity and showing people how to find the best in them. The pieces are unique limited, making exclusivity the focus. Their slogan is “Legends At Our Craft,” and it seems rather fitting for them.

Those “Flavor Of Love” chicks sure do know how to work their way around Hollywood, don’t they? One of Flav’s old flames is allegedly dating Drizzy Drake. According to the blogosphere, Drake has been tricking off on “Flavor of Love” Season 3 winner, DEELISHIS.

In related news, Hoopz, another “Flavor of Love” winner, and Shaq have allegedly broken up again. Every few months, rumors circulate about Shaq kicking Hoopz to the curb, but they always end up back together. Hoopz has confirmed to the Boston Globe that the two have called it quits.

According to Black Sports Online, trouble began to brew a few weeks back after Hoopz visited the Orlando Metro Gymnastics facility for some serious gymnastics training after being inspired by Gabby Douglass’ Olympic win.

The gym doesn’t teach people over the age of 18 for insurance purposes and when Hoopz was told this she lost her mind.  She started to curse out the staff and became belligerent.  She got extremely loud, screaming at the top of her lungs how she needed to train for the 2016 Olympics. 

Shaq was embarrassed, he dropped his head like he was ashamed of her. He didn’t say anything while they were in the gym, but once they got to their car a heated argument took place.  You could hear and see them screaming at each other.  I felt bad for him.

Wow, there two seemed to compliment each other is some weird way. They were reportedly supposed to star in a reality show together about Hoopz’s life with Shaq. Would you have watched their show?

NASA To Premiere New will.I.am Track From Mars

Rapper will.I.am will be the first Hip-Hop artist in history to have his song premiere from the surface of Mars.

Nasa’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory landed the Curiosity rover on Mars on August 6th. Tomorrow (August 28), Nasa will host an educational event about Mars, where members of the JPL Lab will talk with students about the rover’s findings, thus far.

After the discussion, Curiosity will broadcast will.I.am’s song “Reach for the Stars” directly from the Red Planet

The track delves into will.I.am’s passion for science, technology and space exploration.

During the press conference, will.I.am’s i.am.angel Foundation will launch a new science, mathematics, arts and technology program in conjunction with Discovery Education of Silver Spring, Maryland.

The song premiere and press conference will take place at Nasa’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California.
