Drake’s Club Paradise tour earned a reported $42.6 million, almost double what Jay-Z and Kanye West earned on their The Throne tour. But don’t feel bad for Yeezy and Jay-Z, Drake had to work three times as hard for that money.
According to PollStarPro, “The Throne” has made $27.1 million so far this year off of touring and have tore down 22 shows with an average ticket price of $82.44. Drake has had 63 shows with an average ticket price of $60.75.
50 Cent is on pace to be one of the industry’s first Billionaires, and the mogul is trying to accelerate the inevitable with his recent venture into professional boxing. No 50 is not putting on any boxing gloves, instead he will be promoting the matches and has gotten a boxing license under New York State. But get this, the name of his company is TMT (The Money Team). “Money Team” is a term that 50’s best friend and boxing’s main attraction, Floyd Mayweather coined. Floyd has his own promotional company called Mayweather Promotions.
The Bleacher Report is reporting that 50 Cent has his eye on former featherweight world champ Yuriorkis Gamboa (21-0, 16 KO) and super middleweight contender Andre Dirrell (20-1, 14 KO). Both fighters were rumored to be signing with Mayweather promotions and were recently seen working out at Mayweather’s gym.
So we have to ask, is 50 Cent stealing Mayweather’s talent from right under his nose while he’s locked behind bars? Maybe this is a joint venture that hasn’t been announced yet. If not, should Mayweather feel some kind of way?
YOOOO! Good thing Rick Ross is not the forgiving type! He’d have a lot of reconciling to do with his inner soul. I was JUST told that there was a home invasion on Rick Ross’s tour bus! Now, I don’t know a lot about Detroit THESE DAYS, because I have been informed that its changed a lot. But, from what I heard its very chaotic and desolate. They still crank out some of the dopest rappers so WHAT UP DOE? Nevertheless, the realness of Detroit caught up with Rick Ross first hand and his tour bus suffered. Peep what MediaTakeOut said.
July 22, 2012: Rapper Rick Ross was CAUGHT SLIPPING this weekend in Detroit. You see, he parked his TOUR BUS on the street . . . and as HUNGRY as the streets are in Detroit . . . they thought it was FOOD!!!
The streets say a group of ARMED MEN burst into the bus . . . expecting to take hostages and ROB EVERYONE. Luckily for Rozay and them, no one was on the bus. So the goons STOLE everything they could . . . and BROKE UP ISH when they were done.
No word on whether Rick and his peeps are planning to RETALIATE!!
Also no word if God will forgive on Rozay’s behalf.
First, it was revealed that George Zimmerman had racial motivations for his murder of 16-year-old Trayvon Martin. Now, the former PhD student who killed 12 people at a screening of The Dark Knight Rises, is exposed as a racist as well. Twenty-four-year-old James Eagan Holmes, dressed up as the Joker and opened fire in a movie theater in Colorado just a few days ago. Now it is being revealed that the killer was a racist who hated Lil’ Wayne and African-Americans.
Reuters reports that one of Holmes neighbors recalls a story where she bumped into him at the Zephyr Lounge, and he approahed her after she played a Lil’ Wayne song on the jukebox. The neighbor claims that Holmes made a “racially charged comments about rap” and disapproved of rap music, preferring rock ‘n’ roll instead.
According to reports, Holmes graduated from the University of California-Riverside, and due to the recession, was unable to get a job – resorting to working at McDonald’s for a spell. His neighbors have told the press that “he seemed like a normal dude,” and would sometimes sit on the stoop with a backpack on.
Holmes is currently in police custody and has reportedly been getting death threats in jail. He is charged with killing 12 people, including a six-year-old girl, and injuring 58 others. According to the police, Holmes planned the attack with ‘calculation and deliberation.’ The Denver Post is reporting that he used ammunition methodically ordered over a period of months.
Holmes dressed as the Joker and snuck into the theater through an emergency exit with three weapons, a helmet, and a gas mask. After tossing two gas canister into the theater, Holmes walked up the isle firing at moviegoers. He then put his weapons down and waited for the police in the parking lot of the theater.
When police arrived at his apartments on Friday, the entire place was laced with b#### traps and explosives. Police used robots to set off the explosive b#### traps and and tried to find clues as to why Holmes snapped.
I hope this guy pays the ultimate price for his massacre and gets the maximum punishment.

Dear Ash Cash: What are Compound Interest, Interest and APR? -Dee (Brooklyn, NY)
Peace, Dee. Thanks for the questions. Interest, Compound Interest, and APR and all important terms to know as it relates to savings and loans.
Interest has three different meanings, but we’ll concentrate on two. First, it’s the fee charged by a lender to a borrower to use their money. It’s usually expressed as an annual percentage of the amount borrowed, or the principal, as it is called in banking. The rate depends on many variables, but in most cases, the better your credit score, the lower the rate. The second definition is the return earned on an investment. If you invest your money and get any type of return that return is called interest, which is also expressed as an annual percentage.
Compound Interest in simple terms is earning interest on your interest. Compound interest is not only calculated on the initial principal, but also the accumulated interest of prior periods. It’s different from simple interest, because simple interest is calculated only as a percentage of your total principal.
APR, which stands for Annual Percentage Rate, is simply your interest rate expressed in Annual terms or “How much does it cost you to have your loan per year?”

Tank and Tyrese, two-thirds of TGT (Tank, Ginuwine & Tyrese), recently spoke to fellow R&B singer Raheem DeVaughn about their album, where Tank revealed, “We’re about 12 songs [in]!”
Tyrese assures us there will be no special appearances on the album, and even gives his thoughts on today’s R&B, and the overuse of special guests: “They over-saturate it with appearances. Is it an album, or is it a mixtape? And then you got 30 different producers working on the album. The spirit and the inconsistency is all over the place. We’re working with two producers on the whole album, including T (Tank).”
The trio first appeared together on a remix of Tank’s single “Please Don’t Go”. Tyrese also releases details on the book he and Rev Run are co-authoring, titled Manology, set for a 2013 release.
