EXCLUSIVE: Xzibit Previews New Album “Napalm” Featuring Dr. Dre, Game, Wiz Khalifa, Alkaholiks and More

(AllHipHop News) AllHipHop.com sat with Xzibit yesterday (September 14) in his studio in Los Angeles, to get an exclusive listen to his new project Napalm.

The album is Inspired by trips to United States bases in Iraq.

Xzibit gives fans 18-tracks that convey the raw emotion of the war that United States troops endure on a daily basis, while living in a combat zone.

The project also pulls together a host of features that X acquired over the course of a year and a half of recording.

While at the listening session Xzibit told stories of how the threat of violence was real when he was visiting Iraq.

From the threat of getting sniped in a helicopter, to dodging RPGs, the rapper saw what it was like to be in a real war zone, while touring nine bases in five different cities throughout Iraq.

“The response was dope, we were on the base that had Iraq and U.S. soldiers. Someone was screaming, ‘Concentrate,’ I could hear people were requesting my songs,” Xzibit told AllHipHop.com of his tour.

Xzibit was so inspired by the trip that he even included actual members of the United States Armed services in the song “Meaning of Life,” as Xzibit called on retired Staff Sgt. Shilo Harris to speak on the song.

The lead single on the project is titled “Up Out the Way” featuring E-40, while Xzibit’s son Tre Capital, who is now 17, is featured on Napalm also.

The album also features the introspective and emotional “1983” that features Xzibit’s late mother and “Enjoy the Night” which features Wiz Khalifa and is produced by and featuring David Banner.

Dr. Dre also makes an appearance on the project, as X joins forces with Tha Alkaholiks and King T for the track “Louis XIII”

“The lyricists of the West Coast, we take our s### very personal we got myself, Game, Crooked I, and Slim the Mobster,” Xzibit said of the West Coast inspired anthem “Movies.”

Next Friday, Xzibit hosts his birthday party with Power 106 in Los Angeles.

Napalm is due in stores on October 9 and via iTunes here

Hip-Hop Rumors: Which Hard Core Rapper Is Turning To God?

Well, there are actually two hard core rappers that are turning to GOD on their next albums. DMX is fresh off of the release of his seventh studio album, Undisputed, which is in stores now, and the rapper is already planning his next album. DMX has confirmed to MTV’s RapFix that his next album will be a Christian album. The rapper, who is highly religious, told AllHipHop.com that he also plans on turning his life over to the church in the near future and will stick to it and not flip flop like some other rappers out there.

Rapper #2 is a huge surprise as this rapper never really speaks about GOD in his music and usually beefs with other artists. In a recent interview with Jenny Boom Boom, West Coast rapper GAME has revealed that he has found a new faith in GOD, and it is all thanks to Kanye West!

The rapper has revealed that his new album will be called Jesus Piece, and it will be a Christian album. Check out what he said below:

“I’m calling it Jesus Piece cause last year in August I got baptized and so I’ve been going to church, but I still been kinda doing me out here. I still love the strip club and I still smoke and drink. I’m faithful to my family, so I wanted to make an album where you could love God and be of God, but still get it poppin’ in your life.”

“I called in Kanye and he gave me some ideas and we had done a song called ‘Jesus Piece’ on my original album and so once I switched the title, I just kept that song and ‘Celebration,’ and I then redid all the rest of the songs to fit the concept of Jesus Piece.”

That’s pretty dope! I think Hip-Hop fans are ready for a different genre of music to start making the Billboard charts. How many times can one stand to hear “Pop That” and songs of that nature on the radio? Don’t get me wrong, I love to party to that type of music, but sometimes a little inspiration in your music is good for the soul!

You can check out GAME’s full interview below, where he also talks about his new reality show and how he and his wife go “ham” on the show, interesting!

Will you be watching GAME’s new reality show when it drops later this year?

EXCLUSIVE: Webbie Denies Assault Charges Against Woman

(AllHipHop News) Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper Webbie was bonded out of jail and has categorically denied charges that he assaulted a woman on September 13.

Police in Baton Rogue charged the rapper, born Webster “Webbie” Gradney, Jr, with battery and robbery.

Initial reports claimed that Webbie assaulted the woman in a hotel in Baton Rogue.

In a statement released to AllHipHop.com today (September 14), reps for Webbie’s label Trill Entertainment said the rapper denied all charges levied against him.

“We do understand early morning September 13, 2012 our artist rapper Webster “Webbie’ Gradney, Jr was arrested in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for battery and robbery allegations. He has now been bonded out and at this present time denies all claims and allegations brought against him.”

Earlier today, a lawyer for the unnamed woman released a statement saying initial reports were greatly exaggerated.

Contrary to recent media reports and what can only be described as an exaggeration of actual events, ‘Webbie’ (Webster Gradney, Jr.) did not ‘brutally’ attack my client and, fortunately, my client did not suffer injury requiring medical attention. The ‘robbery’ was unfortunately a non-malicious attempt, by the accused, to deny the woman resources he had given her to leave the city, via air transportation, following their domestic argument. The accused did not ‘meet’ my client at a party but rather they had been residing together, off and on, for more than 18 months. Though a rocky relationship, my client and Mr. Gradney spent the evening together after being separated briefly. The early morning assault is domestic related and should be treated as such. While neither my client nor I condone acts of violence, especially domestic, we will not conspire with the media or officials to paint an inaccurate picture of Mr. Gradney or the events.

“We will not conspire with anyone to deliberately destroy Mr. Gradney’s reputation, life and/or career,” the woman’s lawyer said. “Neither my client nor this case should be used as a tool to send another ‘black rapper’ to prison for any other case or charge that is unrelated to these events. Both parties want nothing more than to move beyond this matter. It’s an unfortunate situation and my client will, however, cooperate with officials as required by law.”

Today (September 14), the woman who remained nameless, they expressed to Webbie that they also deny any and all allegations brought against Mr. Gradney.

“Webbie would also like to go on record saying he does apologize to his family first and fans for this unfortunate misunderstanding; Thank you for all the support,” Webbie’s reps said.
