Rapper Kafani Says He Wasn’t Involved In Shooting That Left Eight Wounded

(AllHipHop News) A one-year-old boy was among the victims of gunfire that broke out in West Oakland yesterday (November 28), that sent eight people to the hospital.

The child and his father were both shot during an incident on an Oakland Street yesterday, when unknown gunmen opened fire on the crowd for motives that are not known.

A KTVU-TV news showed a van owned by rapper Kafani, that has been riddled with bullets.

According to a local news report, he was allegedly shooting a music video at the time of the gunfire, which occurred in a liquor store parking lot.

“I was not shot. News reports wrong I did not shoot a video today,” Kafani tweeted earlier this morning.

The one-year-old child is currently at Children’s Hospital in Oakland, where he underwent surgery, in an attempt to remove swelling from his brain.

B.o.B. Releases “E.P.I.C.” Mixtape as Appetizer for Sophomore Album

(AllHipHop News) Very few artists have had the crossover appeal that rapper, singer, producer, and overall musician B.o.B. has had in his career. B.o.B. a.k.a. Bobby Ray, has only released one studio album, 2010’s The Adventures of Bobby Ray, and is preparing to release his second, Strange Clouds, early next year.

In preparation for his sophomore album’s release, the Atlanta native has created a brand new mixtape, E.P.I.C., which stands for “Every Play Is Crucial,” to help hold the fans over until Strange Clouds hits shelves in 2012. Not only does the mixtape have a very “album-like” feel to it, it also features guest verses and production from some of the biggest names in the industry. On E.P.I.C., artists like Mos Def, Meek Mill, Lil Wayne, T.I., Bun B, Eminem, and more, all make appearances over production created by Jim Jonsin, Dr. Luke, The Aristocrats, Ryan Tedder, and even B.o.B. himself.

The 15-track mixtape helps set the tone for what fans can expect, come early 2012, when Strange Clouds is released to the masses via Atlantic Records. In the meantime, check out the E.P.I.C. download below.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Maybach Getting the Axe in 2013!?! Bow Wow Gets Pushed Back! Shyne Remixes Hanukkah?!

Mercedes Pulling the Plug On Maybach In 2013!

Don’t worry, Rick Ross’ label is still very much in tact; however, the same came not be said for Mercedes Benz’s Maybach brand which was just as much a staple in Hip-Hop as was Cristal, Rolls Royce Phantom’s, Jacob’s “iced-out” jewelry, and more. A Mercedes Benz insider said the following: “We’ve come to the conclusion that it is better to cut our losses with Maybach than to continue into an uncertain future with a brand that has failed to live up to original sales expectations.” And now, a moment of silence awesomeness for Maybach…

SURPRISE!!! Bow Wow’s “Underrated” Pushed Back to Next Year.

Not only does Cash Money rapper Bow Wow owe the IRS a reported $91,105.61, which he denies, he also just had his CM debut Underrated pushed back until early 2012, and we have to ask, is anyone really surprised? This is not just an album its my pain my life my story me in the now how im feeling. Things are different this time around ima father now to a beautiful baby girl i have so much poetry and new things to share with the world.
