Random Weirdness From The ‘Net: Asian Drake & A Genetic “Baby Blue Ivy Carter” Predic-Pic?!?!

Strange Internet Face-Alterations…Featuring Asian, Female Drake???

You can literally find anything on YouTube these days. From people performing various “acts,” to taking bad ones off coffeetables, to giving lessons on how to pop zits, there are a lot of people with A LOT of time on their hands on YouTube.

BUT, every now and then, you see a video where someone has gone above and beyond the stuff that most regular people think about doing. In this clip, an Asian woman decides to transform herself into Black/White, biracial rapper Drake! With not very much, she does a decent job at somewhat, kinda resembling him. The way she nails his lip gestures and hand movements, though??? Priceless! Take a look:

On another note, these Drake fan obsessions are getting just plain kray.

No, Really. What Will/Does Little “Blue Ivy Carter” Look Like?

So, not even 36 hours old, Beyonce and Jay-Z’s baby has already spawned endless photoshopped prediction pics on the Internet of what she will/does look like. There’s even a reported first pic of the baby, although it’s likely one from when auntie Solange gave birth some years back.

BUT, the YouTube clip below might be the closest we’ll get for now to ACTUALLY seeing what Baby Blue Ivy may resemble. You see, someone actually did a reported 90 hours of genetic research into Beyonce and Jay-Z’s backgrounds, coupled with 45 tedious hours of Photoshop, and came up with this! This really looks feasible (if Beyonce’s strong Creole genes won out), but what do you think?:

And Now, On To Some Dysfunctional Family Mess…

Stories like this are well, hmmm…un-friggin-thinkable!! This one comes all the way from Kenya, Africa. So, there’s a cheating husband – not uncommon. A wife who catches her scandalous husband in the act at a motel – still pretty common. And then there’s the husband in the clip below, who decides to turn the tables on wifey, even though he’s clearly been caught!:

Dang, where they do ‘dat at??? Apparently somewhere in Kenya.

Common Drops New Diss Record Directed Towards Drake

(AllHipHop News) Despite the fact that the Rick Ross’ Rich Forever was undoubtably the most downloaded mixtape last week, many hip-hop fans have paid closer attention to the Drake verse that was seemingly directed at Chicago rapper Common on the French Montana assisted, “Stay Schemin'” track.

Although Drake didn’t say Common’s name, Common has already replied with a diss record over the same beat and has specifically called out Drake for his use of singing during his raps and the sensitive nature of some of his songs.

“My motto is Chicago b**ch, everybody know you’re sweet, what the problem is? / Don’t play dumb, I’m the one that acknowledged it, son of a b**ch I imagine what you father is/She said how you make your oppponent?/The rapper of the moment, the style he don’t own it…

And later Common raps:

Can’t say a ni**a name but you rap about a ni**as wife, you sho’ black and white tryna live a ni**a’s life/I’m taking too long with this amateur guy, you aint wet nobody ni**a, you Canada Dry. ”

While the nature of the beef is unclear, some speculate that it could be centered around professional tennis star Serena Williams, who is rumored to have been involved with both artists.

“Soft ni**a, make no mistake, I’m taking to Drake,” Common concluded.

To make matters worse for Drake, Common concluded the song with Destiny Child’s song, “Say My Name” repeating in the background of the track.

Drake has not yet replied on Twitter or in any interviews as of press time.

Mixtape Review: Yo Gotti’s “Live From The Kitchen”

Rating: 5.5 / 10

In 2006, one of the best movies I’ve ever had the joy to experience was released in theaters. The Prestige, which starred Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, was one of the movies that you truly had to see to believe. Directed by Christopher Nolan (Inception, The Dark Knight), the movie presented a story of a rivalry between two magicians and their search for the perfect magic trick that turned deadly. Most people that remember The Prestige don’t seem to remember The Illusionist, another movie released in the same time period that had a similar concept. The Illusionist wasn’t a bad movie by any means; it just wasn’t The Prestige and was largely overshadowed due to bad timing.

Sadly, in this case for Yo Gotti and his long-delayed debut release, Live From The Kitchen sounds as if it’s patterned after The Illusionist; this particular brand of street music is nowhere near the level of T.I.’s F*ck Da City Up, Jeezy’s TM:103, or Rozay’s Rich Forever. It doesn’t help the fact that Yo Gotti’s album comes well after two years of his most buzzworthy single, “5-Star”, was released (which spawned a star-studded remix with Trina, Gucci Mane, and Nicki Minaj). All of the singles that hit the radio at the height of his attention then are all cut; the original “5-Star”, “Women Lie, Men Lie”, and “Look In The Mirror” are nonexistent (5-Star Remix is present, however). Instead, the album is a lean 11 tracks that boasts newer content and newer radio singles as well.

Unfortunately, newer content doesn’t necessarily translate into fresher content, and a large majority of the album seems to fall into the bland, generic category due to the redundant production. Yo Gotti has never exactly been a “lyricist” either, and he needs his beats to be a little more diverse in order to reach his full potential. The features here all help to add value to the project, but it’s still futile; the big names here (Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Jadakiss, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa) all make interesting cameos in their own right, but the entire project still comes off as uninspired, especially when compared to other projects that have been released in the last month.

If Yo Gotti wouldn’t have had label issues and was able to release Live From The Kitchen when it was garnering the most buzz, we’d probably have a different, more complete album. Depressingly, that’s not the case, and we’re left with an LP that’s decent if you’re a fan of his music, but will most likely be overshadowed due to its overall lack of appeal outside Gotti’s fanbase. Hopefully in the future, the timing will pan out better for Yo Gotti as he releases studio albums.

Hip-Hop Rumors: 50 Cent Apologizes to Interscope?!

This dude has more WTF moments that any rapper that has ever lived!  50 Cent went on a super emotional Twitter rant last week, where among other things, he blamed his record label for leaking his new records.

Well, last night, 50 got some news that proved what the label was telling him all along, that a “computer glitch” was responsible for the leaks.  I guess 50 was satisfied with the labels proof and issued an apology over Twitter. Check it out below:

“Discovered a computer glitch leaked my song. Sorry to team at interscope for over reacting!”

“I put a lot in to this project but I don’t care if it ever comes out. Jimmy iovine has been like a mentor for me. I just want to stay friends.”

“I just want to stay friends!?”  Come on, 50 Cent, what happened to the tough guy who single-handedly exiled people like Ja Rule from the game?!  5o hasn’t been the same since he lost his battle with Rick Ross. Dude has gotten soft on us.
