Happy Tuesday my builders of dreams! Welcome to the day that you realize that a life built on solid ground is the best possible life to live! Today’s Daily Word is dedicated to building a solid foundation! We now live in what I like to call the microwave society… The society who wants everything NOW and is not patient enough to put in the necessary work needed to assure longevity! We have access to what the good life looks like and because all we see is the end result, some of us negate what it actually takes to really achieve lasting success! The million-dollar question you must ask yourself is: Would you take a shack on the rock or a castle in the sand? The foolish man will chose to build his house on sandy soil where he has easy access and less struggle in building his dream. The wise-man on the other hand, will chose to build his house on a rocky hill, where it is hard to access, more work in building but is definitely more secure. When the storm inevitably hits, the sandy castle is finished! While the shack on the rocks will be safe and sound allowing the wise-man more opportunity to keep building his dream! Make sure as you are journeying through life that you DO NOT choose to build your house (success) on sandy soil! Even though it may look like the fastest or easiest way to your dream, without a solid foundation that dream will simply crumble! Take your time and do it right! Because even while you are in a hurry to live your life to the fullest you must always remember this profound quote…. “If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?” Build a solid foundation! NOTHING CAN STOP YOUR BUT YOU (AND YOUR CHOICES)
