Hip-Hop Rumors: Will Dark Knight Lose? Nas And Fela! A$AP Arrested!

Will Batman Lose To The Avengers?

The word on the street is that Batman will “lose” to The Avengers in the box-office because The Dark Knight Rises is not available in 3D. The means they cannot overcharge millions of people and then ask them to recycle the glasses they just purchased. What kind of BS is that? Anyway, the reviews of Dark Knight are pretty good. But, theirs this other notion that not as many kids are going to be able to see it, because its a darker series. Both movies were rated PG-13, but The Avengers – and even Spiderman – were pretty light flicks with laughs. We’ll see!

Nas & Fela?

Word on the street is Nas went to see Fela! this week, which is a big deal. Nas has been promoting heavily his new album Life Is Good all over the place. But I heard he took the time to check out the Broadway play Fela, which recently made its return to New York City after a world tour. Other Hip-Hop people were in the place to be too, I’ve been told. So, I decided I am going to check it out before it stops running on August 4. For information, go here www.felaonbroadway.com/ and for tickets, go here.
