Today, the A3C Festival & Conference and iHipHop Distribution release the seventh annual A3C compilation album, A3C Volume 7. A3C Volume 7 marks the seventh year that the A3C Festival & Conference and iHipHop Distribution have come together, continuing the highly-regarded series. 

The A3C compilation series has played an important role within the genre, as an indicator to help determine which artists will establish themselves in the ever-changing hip-hop landscape. Artists from past compilations have include G-Eazy, Curren$y, Action Bronson, Big K.R.I.T, Vince Staples, Ab-Soul, A$AP Rocky, Danny Brown, Underachievers, Smoke DZA, Trademark Da Skydiver, Freddie Gibbs, Sir Michael Rocks, Alex Wiley, Mick Jenkins, Dave East, Thouxanbanfauni, Robb Bank$, Michael Christmas, Tunji Ige, Manolo Rose, and Trinidad James, and more.  Because of the success of past artists that have appeared on A3C, the compilation has received recognition from numerous outlets including Apple, as its editors raved, “the A&R rep has done a commendable job, cherry-picking some of the most promising, would-be rap stars from countless wannabes.”

This year’s compilation presents the foremost emerging artists with 49 tracks from the newest generation of hip-hop’s torchbearers.  Artists appearing on A3C Volume 7 include Kodie Shane, Yung Booke (Hustle Gang), Yung Bans, Lucki, Terrance Escobar, Squidnice, Trizz, Mir Fontane, Rolling Stone P, Nell, Meko Supreme, Lil West, Caleborate, Cookie Money, Jimmy Wopo, Kamiyada+, ITSOKYTOCRY, Chuuwee, Calev, Solomonilla, Trippy Tha Kid, Smrtdeath, BigBabyGucci, Johnny Apollo, King Z3US, Brudda Haitian and many more.

Bailey Abbott is a 17-year-old singer/songwriter out of Springfield, OH who is keen on representing for her hometown through generating compelling rhymes with a unique flow.

02.  Yutes – “Trap Don Dadas” (p###. prodbykendox)
Kingston, Jamaica
A talented hip-hop duo out of Kingston, Jamiaca, Yutes is a duo comprised of brothers ChrisNewImage and Santris. Looking to capitalize on their innate abilities, the brothers have recently move to the US to convert their music dreams into a reality.

03.  Johnny Apollo – “Count It All Up” (p###. Johnny Apollo)
Atlanta, GA
Looking to diversify himself from the crowded Atlanta music scene, rising rapper, Jonny Apollo, relies on intense, energetic sonics to help carve out his hip-hop pocket.

04.  Yung Booke – “Like Woah” (p###. Boxhead)
Atlanta, GA
A musical stalwart, Yung Booke been making the rounds on the underground hip-hop circuit. While developing his sound and climbing the ladder, the Atlanta-based emcee has emerged as part of Hustle Gang, and collaborated with legendary artists, like T.I., Young Thug, and Future.

05.  Brudda Haitian – “Max Out” (p###. Deraj Global)
Warner Robins, GA
Georgia’s Brudda Haitian has been grinding arduously towards his musical goals. No stranger to putting forth maximum effort, Haitan began generating legitimate buzz with his 2016 single, “Gone Bad”. Set on continuing that momentum, “Max Out” continues the upstart’s musical ascent.

06.  Lucki – “Play” (p###. Forza)
Chicago, IL
A student of the game and a product of his environment, Lucki delivers an enticing sound predicated on a blending of traditional Chicago drill music with soulful accents.

07. Yung Bans – “Ain’t Know” (p###. Soldado)
Atlanta, GA
Atlanta keeps churning out talent, and Yung Bans is no exception. The 18-year-old rapper has collaborated with great talent, including: XXXTENTACION, Playboi Carti, Smokepurpp, Lil Pump, and Ski Mask The Sump God.

08.  BigBabyGucci – “I Ain’t Never Comin Down” (p###. Joe Dirt)
Nashville, TN
Nashville’s BigBabyGucci delivers a distinct aesthetic that hinges upon his woozy bars and sonics. Putting on for the south, BigBabyGucci has garnered an impressive following that bodes well for his future.

09.  ITSOKTOCRY – “Evangelion” (feat. Superlove) (p###. Boy Floss)
Denver, CO
Hailing from Denver, CO, ITSOKTOCRY uses a combination of vivid imagery and genre-bending sonics to formulate his eccentric style and to separate himself from hip-hop’s rising talent pool.

10.  Kodie Shane – “Bounce Back” (p###. Bradlea Roi)
Atlanta, GA
Kodie Shane, the 18 year-old who is breaking barriers for female artists in Atlanta. Kodie, who is a frequent collaborator and an official member of Lil Yachty’s Sailing Team, has made waves this year with her debut EP Zero Gravity which was followed by Back From the Future EP in August. She has been profiled in The FADER’s GenF as well as Pitchfork’s Rising columns. Kodie performed at this year’s A3C Festival after coming off of 32 days on tour with Yachty and 23 dates with Lil Uzi Vert.

11. ellen o – “Every Day” (feat. Smoke DZA) (p###. ellen o)
Brooklyn, NY
Brooklyn’s ellen o is a classically trained artist who injects her highbrow musicality into the music landscape. Combining numerous tonal elements while orbiting her EDM soul, ellen o distills her eclectic background into a sonically pleasing product. You/Sonata, ellen’s Babygrande Records debut, was released in November 2017.

12.  Rolling Stone P – “Hooligans” (p###. Air Kalo)
Newark, NJ
No stranger to the grind, Rolling Stone P is a proud New Jersey-based rapper who uses a raspy flow carried out over upbeat, trap-centric production to formulate an undeniable allure.

13. Surfwav.Eatn – “Chalk” (p###. Omni Watts)
Atlanta, GA
Floating above his airy, cloud-style raps stands Atlanta’s Surfwav.Eatn. With a strong online musical presence, Surfwav.Eatn continues to put forth the effort to rise the ranks.

14.  Drako
Atlanta, GA
Finding great success with his hit single “Watch Me Do It,” which has been climbing the charts in Atlanta, Drako combines addicting lyrics with a quick flow to bolster his impressive rise.

15.  LeFemme Buo – “The One” (p###. Superpower)
Los Angeles, CA
Coming out of Los Angeles, newcomer, LeFemme Buo, offers an undeniable energy that is facilitated by an array of hip-hop production.

16.  Gizmo & Prohibeo – “Chappie” (p###. Lunar Vision)
Jamestown, RI (Gizmo) / Prunedale, CA (Prohibeo)
Rhode Island’s Gizmo sits at the center of varying musical genres, taking influence from metal, hip- hop, grunge, and rock to make his mark on music. California’s Prohibeo combines contrasting musical elements to impart an experimental sound, making for a fresh sound.

17.  Trippy Tha Kid – “Ban Ban” (p###. swvde)
Hamilton NJ
With Central New Jersey’s Trippy Tha Kid, no two songs sound alike. Whether he’s offering his interpretation of alternative rock, or blowing out the speakers with heavy hip-hop, Trippy Tha Kid knows how to diversify his style.

Accokeek, MD
Hailing from the DMV, Maryland’s Kamiyada imparts spirited music which hinges upon his energetic scream-style rapping to formulate his “Death Trap” aesthetic.

19.  Fune – “Dead To Me” (p###. Johnny Apollo)
Atlanta, GA
Fune is a rapper/songwriter out of Atlanta who uses a palpable intensity to garner fan attention.

20.  E Chapo – “Momentum” (p###. Donn Benjamin)
Atlanta, GA
Atlanta’s E Chapo is an upcoming artist who fuses an articulate rhyme scheme with trap production.

21.  Mir Fontane – “Know Better” (feat. Kenif Muse) (p###. Kil Confirmed)
Camden, NJ
Mir Fontane is a diverse artist hailing from Camden, NJ. Having captured the attention of 300 Entertainment, Mir Fontane finds comfort as both a rapper and singer, and is equally adept in both areas.

Coming out of Delaware, Lil West is keen on putting his state on the map. The 19-year-old rapper has attracted big name features, like 21 Savage and Rich The Kid, and offers a gritty, melodic vibe.

Oakland, CA
Oakland’s Cookie Money harbors his city’s wavy personality by skating across Bay Area-centric production, and has collaborated with elite rappers including E-40, Young Dolph and Boozie Bad Ass.

25.  FRANCEAUTHAGOD – “Okay” (p###. Tee $’t###)
Atlanta, GA
Atlanta’s FRANCEAUTHAGOD is putting numbers on the board and amassing a strong following off the strength of his rhythmic, raspy-coated flows.

26.  Cuba Chris – “Surf” (p###. Lauda Tracks)
Stone Mountain, GA
Cuba Chris is a Stone Mountain, GA rapper grinding impressively towards his musical goals.

27.  Jimmy Wopo – “Young Young N*gga” (p###. Pittsburgh Atomik)
Pittsburgh, PA
Pittsburgh’s Jimmy Wopo has enjoyed viral fame thanks to his hit track, “Elm Street.” The rapper, who is also one-half of Woponese along with Hardo, has made a name by issuing tales from his trap adolescence and has even collaborated with Wiz Khalifa.

20 year-old Norcross, Georgia artist, Terrance Escobar has cultivated a loyal following since hitting the scene with his breakthrough single “iSKKKRRRTTT” and subsequent Pressure EP.

Portland, OR
Portland’s Calev is a rapper – producer hybrid who has crafted a unique sound comprised of head- bumping rhythms and laid-back vibes.

Trizz, hailing from Ingland Empire, CA, has been making his rounds on the underground hip-hop circuit for some time, and received admiration from famed publications from his solo work and AmeriKKa’s Most Blunted series alongside Chuuwee.

Part of the New York collective, Cypher League, I.O.D is a Brooklyn rhymer whose sound pays homage to his area while applying modern touches.

The south is at it again with another hip-hop duo. Armed Rhymery is a group composed of 24-year- old Kween Mo and 26-year-old Edward X, who met in early 2010. Since their origin, Armed Rhymery has used their lyrical and sonic abilities to propel their careers forward.

New York, NY
New York’s King Z3US, a part of his city’s Flow League collective, raps with a gritty edge that mirrors his region’s origins.

Oakland, CA
Coming out of Oakland, CA, Lil Boovie has been garnering impressive numbers thanks to his West Coast leaning, cloud-style raps.

42.  Spell Jordan – “Everything” (feat. Squidnice) (p###. Kid Ocean)
Washington, DC
21-year-old Washington D.C. transplant by way of Philadelphia, Spell Jordan, has built an impressive following in the DMV area, allowing him to collaborate with guys like Lil Xan, Matt Ox, and GYYPS. Staten Island rapper Squidnice started gaining serious buzz with his hit record, “Trap By My Lonely”. Featured in XXL’s “The Break”, the 20-year-old rapper has his eyes set on big goals, and is intent on making them a reality.

Berkeley, CA
Caleborate, out of Berkley, CA, is a contemplative lyricist who uses typically laid-back instrumentals to help craft his tales.

Trey Coastal is a hip-hop group out of Oakland, CA. Comprised of Philip Bank$, Cam Moss, and Rye Mann, Trey Coastal uses Bay Area vibes to structure their wavey music aesthetic that is perpetuated by their undeniable chemistry.

While Frederick, MD might not be a hotspot for hip-hop talent, Plsbug is keen on changing that. The Maryland artist spits primarily over trap production, and has worked with respected talent, including Yung Bans.
