(AllHipHop News) In ten days, Barack Obama will step away from being the President of the United States.
There has been a lot of speculation about Obama’s plans once he leaves the Oval Office.
Music giant Spotify is presenting a special opportunity for the POTUS.
The company’s careers page has a job listing for “President of Playlists” – a position that would oversee a music curation and playlist team.
Some of the requirements include: eight years experience running a highly-regarded nation, experience in programming playlists at a federal level, and a Nobel Peace Prize.
Spotify CEO Daniel Ek gave a direct pitch to President Obama on Twitter.
“Hey [Barack Obama], I heard you were interested in a role at Spotify. Have you seen this one?” wrote Ek.
In case President-Elect Donald Trump is interested in the job, he may have to improve his performance on some of his duties at his current gig.
The President of Playlists job details also call on the applicant to use “all available intelligence” and “attend daily briefings” – two presidential actions Trump has yet to fully embrace.
Obama worked with Spotify in the past by creating playlists for summertime and the holiday season on the streaming platform.
Throughout its two terms, the Obama Administration has been open to connecting with Hip Hop artists, including a star-studded final White House party that was attended by Chance The Rapper, Wale, Usher, and more.
