The Miami rap stars are executive producing a new series with Issa Rae for HBO Max!

Hit rap group City Girls are putting their rap earnings to work, by investing in television and content.

Group members Yung Miami and JT are teaming with “Insecure” creator Issa Rae, as executive producers of a new series on HBO called “Rap Sh*t.”

According to reports, the series centers around two estranged high school friends, who team up to form a rap duo.

The new series has already found a home on HBO Max, which has ordered eight episodes of the comedy.

“Rap Sh*t” is being written by Issa Rae and “Insecure” writer Syreeta Singleton, who also serves as the showrunner for the comedy.

Production on “Rap Sh*t” is supposed to start this summer.
