A new lawsuit has implicated Sean “Diddy” Combs and his son Justin in a shooting at a Los Angeles recording studio.

Diddy and his son, Justin Combs, have been implicated in a violent incident that took place at a Los Angeles recording studio in September 2022. The allegations have surfaced in a new lawsuit filed by a man named Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, which details a harrowing account of a shooting at Chalice Recording Studio, located in Los Angeles.

According to the lawsuit filed by Jones on February 26, the incident occurred on September 12, 2022, during a writers’ and producers’ camp organized by Diddy. The event was attended by notable figures, including Diddy himself, his son Justin and a friend identified only as “Mr. G,” a tall 30-year-old African-American male.

The camp also saw participation from various musicians, some of whom have provided accounts of the events to the media under the condition of anonymity, fearing retaliation.

The lawsuit narrates a tense evening where Diddy, Justin and Mr. G were engaged in a heated conversation that escalated and moved into a restroom adjacent to where another attendee, Mr. Jones, was positioned.

Mr. Jones, who claims he was merely two feet away from the restroom, reported hearing multiple gunshots, an experience that left him in a state of shock and fearing for his own life.

In the immediate aftermath, a crowd gathered around the restroom. When the door opened, Diddy and Justin Combs were seen exiting, leaving behind Mr. G, who was found in a fetal position, bleeding profusely from his leg and hip area.

Despite the situation’s urgency, no one reacted except Jones, who sprang into action, providing first aid to Mr. G and facilitating his transport to an ambulance, while Diddy and his son reportedly vanished to another part of the studio.

The legal document also includes evidence such as clothing stained with Mr. G’s blood and screenshots depicting the aftermath of the shooting, further implicating Diddy and his son in the violent episode.

Jones’ lawsuit accuses Diddy of attempting to manipulate the narrative by instructing Mr. Jones to mislead the police about the circumstances of the shooting, suggesting a drive-by assailant was responsible. This claim is supported by several witnesses willing to come forward once subpoenaed.

The lawsuit further alleges a breach of duty on the part of Diddy and the event organizers for allowing firearms into the studio and failing to ensure the safety of the attendees. As a direct consequence of the shooting, Mr. Jones claims to suffer from PTSD, severe anxiety, depression and insomnia.

The claims are part of Rodney Jones’ $30 million lawsuit against Diddy. Jones claims Diddy groped him, touched his a### and provided underaged girls with drugs and liquor, and other sordid claims.

Diddy has vehemently denied the allegations in Jones’ lawsuit through his lawyer via a statement to TMZ

“We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies,” Diddy’s lawyer Shawn Holley said. “Our attempts to share this proof with Mr. Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls. We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”
