DJ Drama Dismisses Drake “Diss”

DRAMA TALKS DRAKE

(AllHipHop News) In an interview with The Breakfast Club, DJ Drama addressed the alleged diss aimed at him by Drake on DJ Khaled’s#### single “For Free,” from his number one album Major Key.

The line in question comes up at the end of the first verse of the track in which the Toronto MC spits “Last year I had drama, girl not right now.”

Hosts Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy suspected the line was one of Drake’s “staple” subliminals due to the current tension between the two.

Their supposed beef stems from the popular belief that Drama leaked the reference tracks used by Meek Mill to “expose” Drake as using a ghostwriter in their heated battle which took place last year.

“He doesn’t know my girl so, that wouldn’t make sense. Summer is my ex from like 4 years ago,” Drama said in dismissal of the alleged pop shots.

“I’ve been divorced and separated from her for like four years, so last year that’s not my girl he doesn’t know my girl.”

As the interview closed Drama also continued to deny any involvement in the leaking of the reference tracks and states that he hasn’t personally talked to Drake and is not interested in talking to him unless it’s about music.

Drama released his fifth studio album Quality Street Music 2 July 22.

The album features artist such as Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and Young Thug and peaked at number six on the Top R&B/ Hip Hop Albums Chart.
