DMX got in front of the camera for an official video shoot earlier this week.
The rapper, who has been arrested over 30 times in his life, said he is done getting in trouble.
The video is the for the song “Tell Your Friends,” which features New Orleans group N.O.4.
The shoot for the single was filmed in Mesa, Arizona with models, big lights and the Ruff Ryder motorcade.
DMX wasn’t overwhelmed with the environment, he was right at home despite his absence from the big screen due to legal issues.
“I’m excited just to be a part of it, a good song, good music,” DMX told Phoenix’s Fox News 10. “I’ve definitely grown, and I’ve definitely gotten better, if that’s change, then yes I’ve changed.”
Although his most recent arrest came in August of this year for speeding, DMX said he was done with trouble.
“I’m in my element, you know?” an excited DMX told the Fox News 10. “I enjoy it and like I said I am blessed to be able to be getting paid for something that I love.”
