Doja Cat Denied Protection Against Brother Amid Abuse Claims

Doja Cat’s struggle for protection from her brother’s alleged abuse hits a roadblock as her request for a restraining order is denied.

Doja Cat has been denied a permanent restraining order against her brother. The 28-year-old rapper has been denied a permanent restraining order against her older brother, who allegedly stole from her and physically abused her.

The ruling comes weeks after it was claimed that Doja had been physically and verbally abused by her 30-year-old brother, Raman Dlamini.

The allegations were made by Doja Cat’s mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer. Deborah has also claimed that her son had been physically abusive toward her “several times” and made her feel “unsafe.”

Deborah previously had a restraining order against Raman, but it recently expired. She has since been granted a new restraining order, which will last for five years. Meanwhile, Doja, real name Amala Dlamini, has been refused a restraining order against Raman, who allegedly destroyed her property, stole from her and physically and verbally abused her.

Deborah claimed that her son had previously knocked out the singer’s teeth, among other allegations.
“Raman has destroyed and stolen property,” the original filing read. “Raman has verbally assaulted (Doja) in a very degrading and demeaning (manner). Raman has made her feel unsafe and traumatized.”

Deborah also previously claimed that her son’s actions have caused her to feel “constant anxiety and fear.”
