Flesh-N-Bone
was sentenced to 11 years in a California State Prison for threatening
a friend with an AK-47 last December. He was found guilty of Assault
With A Deadly Weapon and Criminal Possession Of A Firm Are By
A Felon in June. Flesh was already behind bars for another violation,
in which the LAPD found him with a sawed off shotgun at the home
of one of his family members. This comes on the eve of Flesh releasing
his solo album, 5th Dog Let Loose, which will be out in October
on Koch Records. “I’m still a tangible part of this release,”
states Flesh in a recent telephone interview. “There may be some
non-believers around me but I know that the record company is
one hundred percent behind me and with the help of my brother
Layzie Bone and my manager and producer, I won’t fail.”
