(AllHipHop News) A hacker had cops in Dunedin, New Zealand repeatedly listening to N.W.A’s “F*ck Tha Police” whether they wanted to or not. The Independent reports someone began illegally broadcasting the 1988 protest song on the Dunedin police radio frequency.

Rage Against The Machine’s cover version was also thrown into the mix. The prankster was able to cause the disruption for days.

“Any interference with a police radio constitutes a risk to public safety, and anyone caught doing this can face a penalty of criminal nuisance and up to one year imprisonment,” stated Inspector Kelvin Lloyd.

Authorities claim no radios were currently missing. Last August, police frequencies in New Zealand’s lower North Island experienced broadcasts of pig grunts and abuse.
