Mac Miller’s “The Divine Femine,” Debuts At Top Spot In Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums Chart

MAC TAKES BILLBOARD BY STORM

(AllHipHop News) Pittsburgh spitter Mac Miller’s latest project The Divine Feminine has debuted at the No.1 spot on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart.

Billboard reports that the album sold 32,000 copies in the week ending September 22.

One of the standout tracks on the project “Dang!,” which features West coast musician Anderson. Paak.

The song claimed the 45th position on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop songs chart, with the cut pulling in 3.6 million streams a week (a 45 percent increase).

Music  platform Spotify accounts for 46 percent of the songs streams. “Dang,” was originally dropped as a lead single for the project July 28.

In addition, the project landed second on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Divine Femine is Mac Miler’s second album to grace the top position of the Top R&B/ Hip Hop Albums chart, following the MC’s 2011 release Blue Slide Park.
