(AllHipHop News) Colson “Machine Gun Kelly” Baker is adding another movie to his IMDb résumé. Variety reports the Cleveland native is set to play Tommy Lee in the Netflix biopic about 1980s-era rockers Mötley Crüe.

The movie is based on the 2001 autobiography The Dirt*: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band*. Jeff Tremaine (Jackass: The Movie, Bad Grandpa) is attached to direct.

“I got the movie to hire my little bro as my drum teacher. kept it in the family,” tweeted Kelly. “I WILL learn the drums and finish the new album before we start filming.”

Besides releasing the Gold-certified albums Lace Up and Bloom, MGK showed off his acting chops in films such as Beyond the Lights and T**he Land. His association with Netflix includes contributing to the song “Home” off the Bright soundtrack.
