“I got into with Michael Jordan before,” said Master P. “My son was playing at his camp. He said, ‘You can’t wear them P Miller shoes. You have to put on Jordans.’”
He continued, “Rome hit me up. So I flew down there to the game. The next day at the game, I’m like, ‘He ain’t about to take no shoes off.’ We got into some trash talk.”
According to P, Jordan told him he’s not a baller. The “Make Em Say Uhh!” rhymer replied by telling MJ he’s a baller and a rapper.
Master P made it clear the situation did not involve any yelling or violence. The result was a pick-up game between the two stars which included several NBA players joining in. The winner got to decide which shoes Romeo would be able to wear.
“It was like a real street game. At the end, we won. You know me. I turned up all the way,” added Master P. “We’ve been homeboys ever since.”
