(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop music will take front and center during the 61st Annual NBA All-Star Weekend, which kicks off in Orlando, Florida next weekend.
R&B star Mary J. Blige will sing the U.S. national anthem, while Pitbull and Ne-Yo will perform during the halftime show.
Nicki Minaj will also perform a medley of her hits during the halftime show, while Black Eyed Peas leader will.I.am will also perform on Saturday night, prior to the three point contest.
Hip-Hop star Flo Rida will take to the court to perform “Good Feeling,” just before the Sprite Slam Dunk contest.
In addition to the All-Star weekend performances, a variety of artists will take part in a celebrity basketball game.
NBA stars Dwight Howard and Kevin Durant will serve as head coaches during this year’s game, which will feature rapper Common, comedian JB Smoove, Penny Hardaway, Nick Anderson, WNBA star Tamika Catchings and others.
The celebrity All-Star basketball game will take place on Friday, February 24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
The 61st Annual NBA All-Star game is slated to take place on Saturday, starting at 7:00 PM on TNT.
