Police are investigating a wild shootout at a Detroit nightclub Plan B, a bar/venue co-owned by rapper Trick Trick.
Sources who were present at the club told AllHipHop.com that a dispute broke out among an unknown group of local rappers, who were performing on stage.
According to police, a man was escorted out of the club for an unknown reason.
He returned to the nightclub with a gun and shortly afterwards a shooting took place, with more than 30 rounds being fired between police officers and the unknown suspect.
“It happened as the club was letting out,” a witness told AllHipHop.com. “The argument started on the stage, just a bunch of pushing and shoving. Everyone eventually ran out and I guess this guy came back with a gun. There weren’t any rappers involved in the shooting, it was someone in the entourage. This guy [allegedly] flashed his and the cops started shooting.”
Two people were injured, one seriously wounded in the shootout.
According to reports, two local off-duty police officers witnessed the man walking up to the club with a gun, as well as the entire shootout.
No officers were injured.
Plan B/Confidential are popular nightspots in Detroit.
The club recently hosted The Detroit Hip-Hop Awards and upcoming events at the venue include performances by Mario Winans and DJ AM.
