(AllHipHop News) The nonviolent protests taking place at NFL games are no longer front page news, but they are still a topic of discussion around the country. Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley was recently asked about the players that choose to kneel during the national anthem as a demonstration against racial injustice.

“They’re kneeling for the national anthem to stand up for people,” Grizzley told XXL. “They’re standing up so people could be treated better.”

The “First Day Out” rhymer continued, “Y’all got all this money. Y’all want people to be living better, go to the people that y’all feel like are treated bad and do something for them. At the end of the day, you’re there to play football. Play football.”

Colin Kaepernick ignited those NFL protests before he was unable to get signed by a franchise. It should be noted the former quarterback is donating over $1 million to over forty charities and nonprofit organizations.
