(AllHipHop News) Lifetime is set to do it again. After producing biopics about R&B stars Aaliyah and Whitney Houston, the cable channel is set to air a movie about the life of Toni Braxton. Unlike with Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B and Whitney, this time filmmakers have full authorization to make the movie about the artist being portrayed.

According to Variety, the original movie will be based on Braxton’s memoir Un-Break My Heart. That will also serve as the title of Lifetime’s film. Vondie Curtis-Hall is set to direct with production beginning later this year.
Braxton is taking on the role of executive producer, and the 7-time Grammy winner will appear in the film as well. The movie will cover the Maryland native’s struggles with severe chronic illness, financial troubles and divorce. Un-Break My Heart will also address Braxton managing her son’s autism.
