Fat Joe Said Bailing Out Justin Bieber Ruined Their Friendship

Fat Joe said he once helped Justin Bieber get out of jail after the pop star’s 2014 DUI arrest in Miami but claimed the favor backfired and damaged their relationship.

On the latest episode of his new podcast “Joe & Jada,” the Bronx rapper recalled getting a call from his late friend Raul Conde asking for help. “Raul, rest in peace, calls me up and says, ‘Yo they looking for somebody to bail out Justin Bieber,'” Joe said.

According to Joe, the bail wasn’t much. “It wasn’t no money,” he said. “It was nothing, a couple hundred dollars, a thousand dollars. We used Rich Playa’s girl to bail him out. So we bail out Bieber, $100.”

However, public records from the time show Bieber’s bail was actually $2,500.

Fat Joe Claims Justin Bieber Boasted “I’m A Gangster Now”

Joe then described Bieber’s reaction after being released. “He calls me to thank me and starts saying, ‘Yo, I’m a gangster now.'”

Joe said he wasn’t amused and recalled checking Bieber. “Yo, Justin. Listen, bro. You gotta stop. We don’t want you gangster.”

He added, “We don’t want you getting arrested. We want you to succeed. You’re Justin Bieber! My daughter worships you! We all love you!”

That conversation, Joe claimed, was the beginning of the end of their rapport.

“It kinda messed up my relationship with him,” he said, suggesting Bieber didn’t appreciate the advice.

Still, some online weren’t buying it. Social media users questioned the accuracy of Joe’s story, with one writing, “All this man does is lie.” Another added, “Joe is the type to tell a story that has maybe like 50% truth in it.”

The story surfaced as Fat Joe and Jadakiss continue to promote their podcast, “Joe & Jada,” which launched in May 2025.

The show, produced by The Volume and Roc Nation, drops twice weekly and covers music, sports and culture.

Megan Thee Stallion Blasts Tory Lanez’s “Desperate” Website Move

Megan Thee Stallion isn’t staying silent as Tory Lanez and his legal team attempt to reframe the night she was shot—this time through a website packed with video clips, police audio and claims of overlooked evidence.

Lanez’s team launched 36hourslater.com on Wednesday (May 29), claiming the site offers “full transparency” and presents new material that proves his innocence.

However, Megan’s attorney, Alex Spiro, dismissed the move as a recycled PR stunt.

“Tory Lanez’s team can’t keep a story straight,” Spiro said in a statement, per XXL. “Last week, they argued that Kelsey Harris shot Megan and now, they’re claiming that Megan only stepped on glass. They continue to rehash old evidence from trial and re-package it as new information to desperately sway public opinion. There was no new evidence displayed today simply a sad attempt from Tory’s team to copy our presentation format to peddle misinformation.”

The site showcases bodycam footage of Megan telling officers she “stepped on glass,” which Lanez’s team says casts doubt on the gunshot wound.

Megan previously stated that she lied to avoid escalating the situation with the police.

The site also leans heavily on testimony from Sean Kelly, the only independent eyewitness, who allegedly told officers he saw “the girls fighting” and claimed “it was a girl” who fired the weapon. Tory’s lawyers say that girl was Kelsey Harris, Megan’s former friend.

Additional statements from Lanez’s former bodyguard, JauQuan Smith, and another man named Bradlie James are also featured.

Smith says he broke up the altercation but didn’t see who fired the gun. James claims Harris admitted to firing three shots before Lanez stepped in.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Attorney Slams Congresswoman Over Tory Lanez Campaign

Spiro also took aim at Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, who has publicly supported Lanez and is now promoting the site.

“It’s embarrassing that Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna is integrating herself into the California criminal justice system for click-bait,” Spiro added. “Instead, she should be focused on serving her own constituents in Florida rather than chasing celebrities.”

Lanez has maintained his innocence since the 2020 shooting. His team says the site is part of a broader effort to “shift public opinion” and support future appeals.

Cardi B Reacts After Offset Seeks Spousal Support In Divorce Battle

Cardi B responded to Offset’s request for spousal support in their ongoing divorce, reposting a viral comment that accused her estranged husband of trying to “mess with Cardi because he’s in his feelings that she has moved on.”

The Bronx rapper co-signed the post on social media on Tuesday (May 14), just as Offset faced heavy criticism online for allegedly pursuing her money.

One user wrote, “Offset stayed in Cardi’s purse while they were together. Cheated by having his girls in HER HOMES!!!!!!! Now he’s asking for spousal support. A cheater is asking for spousal support!!!! He has no shame.”

Another replied, “The thing is: I don’t even think it’s about the money. Offset just wants to mess with Cardi because he’s in his feelings that she has moved on.”

Cardi reposted that comment, making her stance clear without saying a word.

Offset’s amended divorce response, filed in May 2025, includes a request for financial support from Cardi B, though the paperwork doesn’t list a specific dollar amount.

He’s also seeking joint custody of their three children, with Cardi’s residence designated as their primary home.

Offset previously addressed the public attention surrounding their split, writing on social media, “Keep my name out s### please thank you tired of this circus I want out. Let ppl live they life…”

Offset went on to claim he wants “peace” and said he has love for Cardi B’s fans.

“She happy let her live,” he added. “She don’t want to see this s### either man life goes.”

The couple, who married in 2017, share three children: Kulture, Wave, and a third child born in the summer of 2024. Cardi filed for divorce in August 2024 after seven years of marriage.

Kool & The Gang’s Michael Sumler Dies In Georgia Collision

Michael Sumler, the longtime hype man and stylist for Kool & the Gang, died early Sunday (May 25) in a head-on collision in Mableton, Georgia. He was 71.

The crash happened shortly after midnight on Veterans Memorial Highway near Buckner Road. Authorities confirmed Sumler’s vehicle struck another car head-on, Atlanta News First reports. The other driver was not injured. Sumler was pronounced dead at the scene.

Known to many as “Chicago Mike,” Sumler had been a part of Kool & the Gang’s extended family since 1985. He began as a stylist and choreographer before becoming a fixture onstage, hyping up crowds with his signature moves and energy for more than three decades.

Kool & the Gang Pay Tribute To Michael Sumler

The band issued a statement remembering their former colleague: “We’re deeply saddened to hear about the passing of our longtime wardrobe valet, Mike Sumler. Mike worked alongside Kool & the Gang from 2004-2015, making sure the guys looked their best on stage every night. He also enthused the crowd with his energy and dance moves.”

Sumler had just performed at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre as part of “An Evening of Funk With Midnight Star, Con Funk Shun, and Rose Royce” before the fatal crash.

Mableton Mayor Michael Owens reflected on Sumler’s impact, saying, “We are heartbroken by the loss of musician Michael Sumler. ‘Chicago Mike’ contributed so much to the music and entertainment communities. His style and energy added flair and excitement to Kool & The Gang for decades.”

Sumler is the latest member of Kool & the Gang to pass away, following the death of drummer George Brown in 2023. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2024.

Formed in 1969, Kool & the Gang is known for a string of R&B and pop hits, including “Celebration,” “Ladies’ Night,” “Get Down on It” and “Jungle Boogie.”

The band has earned two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards and more than 30 gold and platinum albums. Their music remains among the most sampled in Hip-Hop history.

WATCH: New Videos Of Megan Thee Stallion May Help Tory Lanez After Trove Of Evidence Released

Tory Lanez became the center of a growing online movement on Thursday (May 29) as supporters launched a fresh campaign demanding a pardon from California Governor Gavin Newsom over the rap star’s conviction for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

The outcry came after Florida Representative Paulina Anna Luna promoted new video evidence that she claims clears the rapper of wrongdoing in the 2020 shooting involving Megan Thee Stallion.

Backers of Tory Lanez are analyzing a new website, 36HoursLater.com, which features never-before-seen footage and documentation that wasn’t fully considered in court.

The push gained momentum on Thursday (May 29) with a series of video uploads and social media posts that argue the Canadian artist was wrongly convicted.

The videos, uploaded to YouTube and embedded on the 36 Hours Later site, aim to reframe the timeline and challenge the prosecution’s narrative.

The campaign does not present new forensic evidence but instead focuses on Megan Thee Stallion’s admission that she was not shot, alleged inconsistencies in witness statements and how they were handled during the trial.

In one damning portion of the bodycam footage, Megan Thee Stallion can be heard saying: “I cannot go to jail; I cannot have that on my image.” She then tells the police officer she stepped on glass and then states, “I didn’t get shot.”

The online effort has also sparked renewed discussion across social media, with hashtags like #FreeTory and #JusticeForDaystar trending intermittently since the videos dropped.

The site’s creators claim the content was compiled by independent researchers and legal analysts who believe Tory Lanez’s conviction deserves a second look.

“The evidence is clear. The narrative about Tory Lanez was built on lies, contradictions, and missing facts. No DNA. No bullet fragments. Conflicting medical reports. Conflicting testimonies. Eyewitness testimony ignored,” Luna said.

Tory Lanez was convicted in December 2022 and sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the feet following a dispute in July 2020.

The case drew national attention and polarized the Hip-Hop community. Lanez has maintained his innocence throughout.

“A 10-year sentence for all of this is not justice. Tory Lanez deserves a pardon,” Luna added.

Offset Demands Spousal Support From Cardi B In Divorce War

Offset has officially asked for spousal support from Cardi B in their ongoing divorce proceedings, according to court documents obtained by TMZ, marking a new chapter in their turbulent relationship.

The Migos rapper filed an amended response in New Jersey family court requesting financial support from Cardi, though the exact amount remains unspecified.

This move comes despite a prior agreement between the two artists to cover their legal costs and not pursue monetary support from one another.

Offset is also seeking joint custody of their three children, but he wants Cardi’s residence to be designated as their primary home. The couple had previously attempted to keep financial matters separate during their split.

The pair first crossed paths in 2016 and secretly tied the knot in Atlanta in September 2017.

But their marriage has been a rollercoaster of public reconciliations, cheating rumors and headline-making arguments. Cardi initially filed for divorce in Georgia in September 2020 but called it off two months later after Offset surprised her with a Rolls-Royce for her birthday.

Their second and more recent split came in July 2024, when Cardi filed for divorce again—this time in New Jersey—listing Offset as the father of their third child, born in September 2024.

By late 2024, Cardi confirmed the breakup.

The couple shares three children: daughter Kulture, born in July 2018; son Wave, born in September 2021; and a baby girl, born in September 2024, whose name has not been revealed.

Cardi has since moved on and has been spending time with NFL star Stefon Diggs, including a controversial Memorial Day boat outing where Diggs was filmed with a suspicious pink powder, which some have labeled “pink cocaine,” prompting an internal review by the New England Patriots.

Eddie Murphy Reveals Son Secretly Eloped With Martin Lawrence’s Daughter – Comdians Now In-Laws

Eddie Murphy revealed his son Eric Murphy quietly tied the knot with Martin Lawrence’s daughter Jasmin Lawrence, turning a longtime Hollywood friendship into a family bond.

The 64-year-old Eddie Murphy shared the surprise marriage news during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, confirming that Eric, 35, and Jasmin, 29, skipped the big ceremony and opted for a low-key church wedding instead.

“They got married, like, two weeks ago,” Eddie Murphy said. “They went off… Everybody was making the big wedding plans and they decided they wanted to do something quiet with just the two of them.”

Murphy, who has ten children, said the couple’s decision to keep things simple brought him even closer to longtime friend and Bad Boys co-star Martin Lawrence, 60.

“Yeah, we’re in-laws. And he doesn’t have to pay for that big wedding now,” Murphy joked.

The couple’s ceremony was stripped down to the essentials.

“They went off and they got married at the church. They just had the two of them and the preacher. They had a quiet little thing. So I think we’ll have like a big party or something,” Murphy added.

Eric is Murphy’s oldest child, born to ex-girlfriend Paulette McNeely. Murphy also shares children with Nicole Mitchell, Tamara Hood, Melanie Brown and his fiancée Paige Butcher, with whom he has two kids.

The couple’s romance had been public for years, but the wedding remained under wraps until Murphy’s reveal.

Mo’Nique Reunites With Estranged Son After Years Of Silence

Mo’Nique spent Memorial Day weekend surrounded by family and forgiveness as she reunited with her eldest son, Shalon Jackson, following a long and public estrangement.

On Wednesday night (May 28), the Oscar-winning actress shared a series of heartfelt family photos on Instagram, including one of her and Jackson embracing and laughing.

The caption read simply: “GRATEFUL!!!! I LOVE US 4REAL!!!”

The reunion followed a turbulent period marked by public statements and emotional distance. Jackson, who had previously criticized his mother on social media, posted a video apology after the family gathering, acknowledging the pain caused by his past actions.

“Making those videos a year ago was a betrayal against our family, and I have to take full accountability for it,” he said. He thanked his relatives for their “patience” and “grace,” adding, “Bottom line, I was wrong, and I shouldn’t have said any of what I said.”

Jackson also admitted that his mother and her husband, Sidney Hicks, were justified in addressing his mental health struggles at the time.

“I just simply didn’t like it,” he said but acknowledged the backlash his family endured was undeserved.

Mo’Nique Previously Addressed Strained Relationship With Son

The mother-son relationship had been strained for years, with both speaking publicly about the rift.

During an appearance on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast, Mo’Nique addressed their separation.

We’re still very much separated,” she explained. “It’s one of those things where you have to pray to the universe and say let time do the healing, and that’s it. That’s it. Let time do the healing.”

Jackson responded on TikTok, calling her comments a “false narrative.” He said, “Neither one of us cares to put forth any effort to reconcile with the other. We are ‘separate,’ as she put it, because she doesn’t care to be my mother any more than I care to be her son.”

Mo’Nique has openly admitted she struggled with motherhood during the early years of her fame but said she has taken responsibility for those shortcomings.

The family spent the holiday weekend together, marking a significant step forward after years of silence and tension.

Diddy Allegedly Chased Bleeding Assistant In Need Of Tampons Out Of His House

Diddy was accused in federal court Thursday (May 29) of violently ejecting a female assistant from his home while she was bleeding and in need of a tampon, marking one of the most disturbing moments yet in his ongoing sex trafficking trial.

The woman, testifying under the pseudonym “Mia,” described a hostile and abusive work environment during her time as Diddy’s assistant.

She told jurors that the incident began when Diddy ordered her to gather people for a task. When she told him she needed to change her tampon, he became enraged and hurled a bowl of spaghetti at her.

She said she was bleeding through her clothes with blood running down her leg when he screamed at her to leave, chased her out of the house barefoot and forced her to hide in a bush before she fled to a hotel.

Earlier in the day, Mia detailed other alleged violent episodes, including being struck with a computer, shoved into a pool and having her arms slammed in a door.

Later in the afternoon, she provided more context for the incidents. Mia said Diddy once threw a computer at her head inside a trailer while Swizz Beatz was present.

The incident unfolded after she informed him that the Wi-Fi issue was being addressed. She recalled joking that she’d need to call Bill Gates, which allegedly triggered Diddy to throw the device at her, narrowly missing her head.

She also testified about an incident in Turks and Caicos, where she said Diddy dumped a bucket of ice on her while screaming. When she tried to retrieve her phone, fearing he would read private messages about his erratic behavior, she said he threw her into a pool.

Another confrontation allegedly took place at the offices of Revolt TV.

Mia said Diddy grabbed her phone and locked himself in a bathroom. When she tried to get it back, he slammed the door on her arm multiple times, leaving her with bruises.

She told the court that after these incidents, she was suspended without pay at Diddy’s request.

She also recounted a moment when he claimed to have sent compromising photos of her to his own phone, which she interpreted as a form of intimidation. She said she knew he was lying because no such photos existed.

Diddy has pleaded not guilty to federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. If convicted, he could face life in prison.

Testimony in the trial continues.

Blueface Shows Off New Face Tattoos & Weight Gain In Viral Prison Pics

Blueface surfaced in new photos from behind bars this week during a prison call with his mother, Karlissa Saffold, and the internet had plenty to say about his fuller face and fresh ink.

The snapshots, shared by Saffold, marked the first time she had seen or spoken to her son in nearly two years.

“This my first time seeing and hearing my baby in almost 2 years,” she wrote on Instagram. “Never take hugging and loving your kids no matter how old they are for granted!!! They will always be our babies.”

The photos show the two speaking through a video call, with Blueface noticeably bulkier and sporting additional face tattoos. Observers online didn’t hold back, with comments like “He Too Comfortable In There,” “My boy eatin,” and “He’s getting big.” One user added, “More face tats is crzy.”

The West Coast rapper is currently serving a four-year sentence for violating probation tied to a 2021 assault case. He is expected to be released as early as June or July 2025.

Despite their rocky past, Blueface and his mother appear to be mending their relationship. For Mother’s Day, he sent her a message from jail: “Happy mothers day mom I love you an all your efforts…I will be their for yah next mothers day i promise i miss you i hope you like the Flowers I sent we got this momma let’s turn it around.”

He also issued a public apology, acknowledging the strain caused by outside influences: “I want to apologize to you for letting any female influences effect our relationship. I thought a few females may have loved me more than you but I was wrong.”

Clipse Announces Release Date For First Album In 15 Years

Clipse has announced its first album in more than 15 years, LET GOD SORT EM OUT, will arrive on July 11 in partnership with Roc Nation.

Executive produced entirely by fellow Virginia native and longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams, the highly anticipated project serves as the follow-up to 2009’s Til the Casket Drops. It also reestablishes the duo’s relationship with artist KAWS, who designed the cover art.

While there have been rumors about who will appear on the project (names like Kendrick Lamar and John Legend have been thrown around), fans will get an official taste of the project with “Ace Trumpets,” which is scheduled to arrive on DSPs Friday (May 30). To build excitement, Clipse has shared a visual teaser on Instagram.

Hailing from Virginia Beach, Clipse was active primarily between 1994 and 2010. They were celebrated for their gritty lyricism centered on the realities of drug dealing, particularly cocaine, earning them a reputation as pioneers of “coke rap.”

Discovered by Pharrell, who—along with Chad Hugo as The Neptunes—produced much of their work and played a pivotal role in their career, Clipse eventually went on hiatus, with both members pursuing solo careers. Pusha T became president of Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label and released several acclaimed solo projects.

No Malice, after a personal transformation, shifted his focus to more positive and spiritual themes in his music. Despite rumors of a permanent split, Clipse reunited for guest appearances, including Kanye West’s “Use This Gospel” in 2019.

Diddy’s Assistant “Mia” Recounts Brutal Work Environment: Ice Bucket On Head, Arms Slammed With Doors

Diddy was accused of sexual assault and physical abuse by a former personal assistant during testimony Thursday (May 29) in his ongoing federal sex trafficking trial in New York.

The witness, identified only as “Mia,” described a hostile and controlling work environment under Diddy, claiming she endured violent outbursts, sexual misconduct and extreme sleep deprivation while employed by the Hip-Hop mogul.

Her testimony marked the 12th day of the high-profile proceedings.

Mia told the court she was once forced to stay awake for five consecutive days while working for Diddy. She said she relied on extended-release Adderall to remain functional but eventually experienced blurred vision, hearing loss and hallucinations before being allowed to rest.

She said he gave her permission to sleep only after she broke down crying.

She also testified that Diddy physically assaulted her on multiple occasions, including throwing her against a wall, dunking her in a pool, slamming her arms in a door and dumping an ice bucket on her head.

She further alleged that he sexually assaulted her more than once during her time as his assistant and later as director of development and acquisitions at Revolt Films.

Mia said she was hired after meeting with a recruiter, human resources and a woman named Toni Baez Fletcher. She claimed her first meeting with Diddy took place in his apartment while he was wearing only underwear.

She said he did eventually put on clothes after the HR representative left.

According to Mia, she was paid $50,000 annually and was told she would be on a two-week trial period. She said she initially felt excited about the opportunity but quickly realized the job demanded far more than she expected.

She described Diddy’s behavior as unpredictable and said his mood could shift without warning. She claimed she could not leave his presence without permission and once faced retaliation after sneaking out at 2 a.m. while he was asleep.

She said Diddy’s security team contacted her and warned that he was sending people to find her.

Mia testified that she was routinely punished when Diddy was displeased. She said the consequences included verbal abuse, threats to her job and insults to her intelligence.

She also claimed she was required to spend time with Cassie and follow Diddy’s instructions without question.

She told the jury that disobeying him led to “something very scary,” describing the punishments as unpredictable and terrifying.

Diddy has pleaded not guilty to federal charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. If convicted, he could face life in prison.

The trial continues this week in federal court.

Diddy Allegedly Paid $2 Million To Silence Witness, Claims Former Bodyguard

Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly shelled out $2 million to keep Gina Huynh from testifying in his federal sex trafficking case, according to his former bodyguard Gene Deal, who claimed in a new interview that prosecutors are struggling to bring her into court because she’s been “paid off.”

“They want the prosecution to hurry up to bring Gina in so Gina could paint the picture that like everything was consenting because she’s been paid off,” Deal said during his appearance on The Art of Dialogue.

Gene Deal, who worked closely with Diddy during the height of his Bad Boy Records era, alleged that Huynh accepted a multimillion-dollar payout and other perks to stay quiet.

“She took the $2 million payment from Diddy,” he added. “I think Diddy may have gave her 2 million or something like that. Got her in school, gave an apartment out in LA. Still was messing with him. Come on, man. Brainwashed.”

Huynh, widely believed to be “Victim-3” in the federal indictment against Diddy, has not been confirmed as a witness in the trial despite being subpoenaed. Prosecutors have acknowledged her role in the case, but her appearance remains uncertain.

“This is the one who disappeared,” Deal added, describing Huynh as a “hostile witness.”

“But she did talk to the federal government,” he added. “They do have emails and everything from her and her lawyer. So she had to be somewhat involved in that.”

Earlier this month, CNN reported that Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo told the court Huynh “is out of the case. Gina is not coming.” Assistant U.S. Attorney Christy Slavik pushed back, saying Huynh was “very much a part of this case.”

“The government can call Gina if it wants to,” Agnifilo said. “It might be difficult. It might be hard to do. They are the United States of America. They can get Gina into this courtroom if that is what they want to do.”

The federal trial continues as prosecutors weigh their next steps.

Diddy Escort “The Punisher” Apologizes To Cassie Ventura Over Diddy Allegations

Sharay “The Punisher” Hayes, a former escort who testified in Sean Diddy Combs’ federal sex trafficking case, publicly apologized to Cassie Ventura during a CNN interview, expressing regret for his involvement in encounters she later described as abusive.

“I would apologize because I had no idea, no indication of what she was going through,” Hayes said during the televised segment. “Obviously, my involvement kind of furthered her suffering. Me knowing that as a man, being raised by a single mom and a grandma, just the thought of partaking in a scenario where a woman is possibly being abused is tough to hear.”

He added, “I would just apologize and tell her that I was really remorseful and regret if I contributed to a bad experience for her.”

Diddy Hired “The Punisher” For Multiple “Freak-Offs” With Cassie Ventura

Hayes, who worked as a dancer and escort, testified earlier this month that he was hired by Diddy for eight to 12 so-called “freak offs” with Ventura over roughly two and a half years. He said he often didn’t realize who the couple was until after the fact.

According to Hayes, he was told to meet Ventura in hotel rooms and instructed, “I was specifically told to not acknowledge her husband.”

He also claimed Diddy would sometimes observe the encounters while wearing a veil or hijab, which made the environment uncomfortable for him as a performer.

“I didn’t see any violence or aggression or anything that would constitute what his accusations are,” Hayes said during another recent interview.

He added, “I just look at as accusations now based on my interaction… I just didn’t see anything that aligned with what the charges are, but I am also naive to the interpretation of the law.”

Hayes said he hasn’t had any contact with either Diddy or Ventura since 2015.

Ventura has testified that she was coerced into participating in the “freak offs” and subjected to manipulation, blackmail and psychological abuse by Diddy.

Cardi B Explodes On Hazel E Over Wild Allegations In Leaked DMs

Cardi B erupted after reality TV star Hazel E shared a string of alleged direct messages from the rapper, following a recent interview where Hazel implied Cardi used sexual favors to advance her music career.

On Wednesday (May 15), The former Love & Hip-Hop cast member posted a screenshot of a heated message, allegedly from Cardi.

“Keep my name out your f##### mouth,” the message began. “You constantly got my name in your mouth and I never spoked on you and disrespected you…name who I f##### for a track? I never f### no rapper nor music exec to be where I’m at the only man in the industry I f##### I married …I got pick by Mona Scott herself to be on love and hip hop not my p####.”

Cardi continued, branding Hazel E “a weirdo” and “miserable ass b####” and referencing her claims of a stolen kids’ birthday idea.

“You evil and weird you hate on people that you never met,” she continued. “I can’t only imagine what you do to people close.”

The outburst came after Hazel E, who has a long-standing grudge against Cardi, implied during a recent interview on Shirley’s Temple, that Cardi’s rise in the industry may have involved more than just talent.

Hazel E Accuses Cardi B Of Being “Downfall” Of Stefon Diggs

Hazel followed up by posting more screenshots of what she claimed were additional DMs from Cardi, showing the two going back and forth.

The messages also included Cardi defending her ex-husband, Offset, and current boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, after Hazel accused her of being “the downfall of yet another man.”

That comment appeared to reference unverified rumors about Diggs being involved with pink cocaine during a yacht party with Cardi.

The feud between the two women has largely been one-sided, with Hazel repeatedly making claims about Cardi over the years.

In the past, Hazel also accused Cardi of mimicking her daughter’s birthday party theme and claimed she helped Cardi secure the “Bodak Yellow” video.

Cassie Ventura Tried To Flee Balcony After Diddy Threatened Her With Explicit Tapes, Stylist Testifies

Cassie Ventura once tried to flee a hotel balcony to escape Diddy after he tracked her down and threatened to leak explicit tapes, according to testimony in his ongoing federal trial.

Celebrity stylist Deonte Nash told a jury that in 2013, Ventura was so terrified after learning Diddy had found her hiding at a hotel that she attempted to climb over a balcony to get away.

“She was going to climb over the balcony,” Nash testified. “She started heading that way.” He added, “It wasn’t the first floor.”

Nash said the two had gone to the hotel after Diddy kicked them out of his home. But when Diddy arrived at the hotel, Ventura panicked.

Nash testified that he managed to sneak Ventura out through a side door before she could act on her desperation.

According to Nash, Diddy repeatedly used the threat of releasing sex tapes—referred to in court as “freak-off” videos—as a tool to manipulate and intimidate Ventura.

Diddy would threaten to send the tapes to her parents’ workplaces “to get them fired.” He also allegedly told Ventura he was “the only one who could protect her.”

Nash also testified that Ventura confided in him about being pressured to attend sex parties and said she didn’t want to participate.

He claimed Diddy would insult her with words like “s###” and “ho” when she resisted.

The stylist described a pattern of abuse and control that spanned years, including threats to Ventura’s career and family, as well as physical and emotional intimidation.

Cassie Ventura, who recently testified for nearly a week in Diddy’s federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial, reportedly welcomed her third child—a baby boy with husband Alex Fine—on Tuesday (May 27). The couple also shares two daughters, Frankie, 5, and Sunny, 3.

Drake Just Beat Everyone In RIAA History With 10 Diamond Hits

Drake just made music history, racking up another mind-boggling accolade, but didn’t say a word about it.

The Toronto rapper now holds the record for the most Diamond-certified singles in RIAA history, hitting a total of 10 as of Tuesday (May 28).

The latest tracks to reach the coveted 10-times Platinum milestone are “Hold On, We’re Going Home” and “Best I Ever Had,” both certified in May. They join a stacked list that includes “God’s Plan,” “One Dance,” “SICKO MODE” with Travis Scott, “Life Is Good” with Future, “No Guidance” with Chris Brown, and “Love Me” with Lil Wayne.

The Recording Industry Association of America confirmed the milestone, stating: “Drake has the most RIAA Diamond Certifications of any artist, ever.”

That puts him ahead of Garth Brooks and Post Malone, who each have nine Diamond plaques to their names.

Drake is also the first artist to hit double digits in Diamond certifications across both singles and albums.

True to form, Drake acknowledged the achievement with a silent flex—posting the news to his Instagram Story without a caption.

But that wasn’t the only headline he made this week.

During a surprise appearance at Central Cee’s show in Toronto on Saturday (May 24), Drake dropped a bombshell. He revealed OVO Fest is officially coming back this summer.

“I’ll see you this summer, by the way,” he told the crowd. “OVO Fest will be back this year.”

He also turned to Central Cee and added, “We’ll need you there for that.”

The festival, which launched in 2010, hasn’t been held since 2022. That last edition featured a Young Money reunion with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne. Drake is yet to announce lineup, venue or dates, but the return has already stirred buzz across social media.

Diddy’s Ex-Bodyguard Gene Deal Allegedly KO’ed YouTuber Outside Courthouse

Diddy’s former bodyguard Gene Deal allegedly assaulted a man who was harassing him outside of the Manhattan federal courthouse, where the Bad Boy Records mogul is currently on trial.

In a video shared by The Art of Dialogue, an interviewer reported Deal got into an “altercation” with a YouTuber who goes by “D Not.” Apparently, D Not had been calling Deal “Uncle Phil” and other nicknames before Deal decided to take action. In all fairness, Deal warned D Not he would knock him out if he continued, and he made good on his promise.

Following the incident, Deal was asked not to return to the courthouse for a few days.

Deal has been one of Diddy’s most outspoken critics amid his former boss’s ongoing federal trial for racketeering and sex trafficking. Deal, who has publicly shared his experiences and even authored a book about his time working for Diddy, has alleged that Diddy used Bad Boy Entertainment to organize illicit gatherings known as “freak-offs” for himself and others, suggesting that these activities point toward racketeering charges.

In recent interviews, Deal predicted that Diddy will not be able to withstand the pressure of the trial and will ultimately “crack” under the weight of the testimonies and evidence, possibly accepting a plea deal to end the ordeal.

Deal has emphasized that the courtroom environment, where Diddy must face allegations sober and without distractions, will be particularly difficult for him.

Beyond these predictions, Deal has also claimed that the prosecution has been somewhat lenient, arguing that there could have been even more charges brought against Diddy. He has connected the testimonies—especially those describing threats, violence and coercion—to the broader narrative of sex trafficking and abuse, asserting that Diddy’s alleged pattern of behavior extended far beyond isolated incidents.

Deal’s willingness to testify and his public statements have drawn both support and criticism, with some accusing him of trying to “drag Diddy’s name through the mud,” while others see him as a key witness with crucial insider knowledge. Deal maintains that he has substantial proof to back his claims and has stated he feels no remorse for Diddy’s current legal troubles, insisting that the consequences are a result of Diddy’s own actions.

Elon Musk Parts Ways With Trump Administration But Declares “DOGE Mission Will Only Strengthen”

Billionaire Elon Musk has announced that his tenure as head of Donald Trump’s cost-cutting task force is nearing its conclusion.

Posting on his social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Musk expressed gratitude to Trump for the chance to help oversee the Department of Government Efficiency, commonly referred to as Doge.

Musk served as a “special government employee,” a role that allowed him to work in a federal capacity for up to 130 days each year. With Trump’s inauguration on January 20, Musk is set to reach that annual limit by late May.

His departure follows recent criticism of Trump’s signature budget bill—a cornerstone of the president’s legislative agenda—which Musk described as “big, beautiful,” but ultimately disappointing.

“As my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending,” Musk wrote on X. “The @DOGE mission will only strengthen over time as it becomes a way of life throughout the government.”

According to the BBC, the White House will begin the process of formally offboarding Musk from his government role on Wednesday night.

Musk’s exit comes after he voiced disappointment with Trump’s budget proposal, which includes multi-trillion dollar tax cuts and increased defense spending. In an interview with CBS, the SpaceX and Tesla CEO warned that the bill would expand the federal deficit and “undermines the work” being done at Doge.

Musk, a prominent Republican donor, leaves after a turbulent stint in politics that made him one of Trump’s closest advisers, even as Tesla’s profits declined sharply.

Tesla recently cautioned investors that financial challenges may persist, declining to provide a growth outlook and noting that “changing political sentiment” could significantly impact demand for its vehicles.

On a recent earnings call, Musk informed investors that his involvement with Doge would “drop significantly” and that he planned to dedicate much more of his time to Tesla.

Donald Trump Pardons NBA YoungBoy—Rapper Says It “Opens The Door” To His Future

NBA YoungBoy received a presidential pardon from Donald Trump on Wednesday (May 28), clearing the rapper’s federal convictions tied to two separate gun possession cases in Louisiana and Utah.

The Baton Rouge native, born Kentrell Gaulden, had been sentenced to nearly two years in federal prison after pleading guilty in December 2024 to charges stemming from a 2020 arrest during a music video shoot and a later case in Utah.

His legal team confirmed the pardon, though they did not submit the application themselves. The 24-year-old artist addressed the news in a statement posted to Instagram.

“I want to thank President Trump for granting me a pardon and giving me the opportunity to keep building – as a man, as a father, and as an artist,” he wrote. “This moment means a lot. It opens the door to a future I’ve worked hard for and I am fully prepared to step into this.”

NBA YoungBoy’s legal troubles began on September 28, 2020, when he was arrested outside his grandfather’s home in Baton Rouge while filming a video.

Authorities found a Masterpiece Arms 9mm and a .45 caliber Glock Model 21 in his possession. He later faced a separate charge in Utah, which was included in his plea deal.

The rapper is currently preparing for his first headlining tour, the MASA Tour, which launches in Dallas this September.

NBA YoungBoy now joins a growing list of rap artists who have received clemency from Trump.

Lil Wayne was granted a full pardon in January 2021 after pleading guilty to federal firearm possession. He had faced up to a decade in prison before Trump intervened.

Wayne had publicly endorsed Trump during the 2020 campaign, citing his criminal justice reform efforts.

Kodak Black also benefited from Trump’s clemency in 2021. He was serving a 46-month sentence for falsifying information on federal firearm documents.

Trump commuted Kodak’s sentence after he had served nearly half his term, citing his charitable work and community support.
