Craziness! The man who got run over by Suge Knight, and survived, testified in court that he would not “snitch” and help prosecutors put Suge in prison. Cle “Bone” Sloan was called to the stand during Suge’s preliminary hearing, and the prosecutor raised the topic of snitching. Sloan got emotional and declared he “doesn’t want to be used to send this man to prison.” He added, “I screwed up and Terry’s dead.”
It’s interesting that the guy who had broken bones from Suge running over him, is the same one taking the stand trying to take the blame for Terry Carter’s death, and it seems like he’s trying to take some heat off Suge Knight. However, Sloan is still admitting Suge did some terrible things to him in the first place by saying he won’t snitch on him.
Wale and Jerry Seinfeld are an unusual pair but their chemistry is a main factor in Wale’s no. 1 album, The Album About Nothing.
In a recent interview, Seinfeld said that it was his wife that introduced him to his music and he ended up meeting him backstage at one his stand-up shows.
“I thought he was a very charming young man,” the 60-year-old told The New York Times. “And then I heard about the mixtape, and he came up with the idea of doing the whole album. It just felt so offbeat and that’s what appeals to me.”
Other artists have tried to merge the Seinfeld theme into their music but Wale is the first artist that received the support. Seinfeld said it’s because he admired Wale’s artistry and knew he wouldn’t toy around with the ideas.
“This guy’s a real artist and I thought he would be inventive and creative with it as opposed to just pilot fishing, as I call it.”
The D.C wordsmith has struggled with handling backlash on social media and not getting the respect he feels like he deserves. Seinfeld said he has tried to pass on gems about managing a public image and lessons about fame.
“That it’s irrelevant. It’s a fantastic byproduct of doing good work, but you have to keep it in its place. It’s like a dog — it’s gotta be trained. You can’t let this thing run all over the house.”
He also expressed about what he admires about “The Gifted” rapper, saying that he music drew him in because “he has a little bit of hypnotic sound in his voice.”
“There’s a richness to his emotion. When you listen to the music, you can feel what he’s feeling and I like that. Great singing always has that.”

According to the Auto Firm in South FL and TMZ, Akon ordered a 2014 Mercedes Sprinter from them a year ago and asked them to reinforce the vehicle in bulletproof armor. Akon wouldn’t say much about it initially, but now he’s saying it’s a gift for an African president, but he wouldn’t say which one. It could be for the president of Akon’s homeland of Senegal. A gift that costs $350K is quite a gift. The sprinter is said to have DirceTV, surround sound, and it’s completely iPad controlled.

Another video of a unarmed black man being shot by a white officer has surfaced. A video shows police pursuing 44-year-old Tulsa, Oklahoma man Eric Harris in their cars after he was caught illegally selling firearms to an undercover cop. Harris hopped out of the vehicle he was in and after he tried to flee on foot he was caught and pinned down by 73-year-old reserve deputy Robert Bates.
Bates seemingly meant to pull out his taser and use it on Harris but mistakenly pulled his gun and fired a shot. Bates then said “I shot him! I’m sorry!”
Harris then screams “He shot me! He shot me! Oh my god. I’m losing my breath!” Two officers appear and continue to pin Harris down after he is shot, with one officer putting his knee into the back of Harris’ head. When Harris said he was losing his breath one of the officer yelled back “F–k your breath!”
Bates reportedly isn’t a active member of the police force and volunteers his time as a reserve deputy. Oklahoma prosecutors are investigating the shooting.
“Reserve Deputy Bates did not commit a crime,” Tulsa Police Sgt. Jim Clark said. “Reserve Deputy Bates was a victim, a true victim of slip and capture. There’s no other determination I could come to.”
Harris reportedly reached for his waistband while he was on the ground, which led to Bates going for his taser.
“I want to know if he was shot in the back accidentally or on purpose,” Harris’ brother Andre told KTUL. “These are all the things that not only I want, but the public wants.”
This video surfaces days after another video caused a white officer to be charged with murder for the killing of an unarmed black man. South Carolina officer Michael Slager was charged with murder after shooting and killing unarmed 50-year-old Walter Scott.

John Legend is using his talents to address a social cause. The Academy Award-winning singer has announced that he is launching a campaign to end mass incarceration, FREE AMERICA.
“We have a serious problem with incarceration in this country,” Legend told the Associated Press. “It’s destroying families, it’s destroying communities and we’re the most incarcerated country in the world, and when you look deeper and look at the reasons we got to this place, we as a society made some choices politically and legislatively, culturally to deal with poverty, deal with mental illness in a certain way and that way usually involves using incarceration.”
The first things on Legend’s agenda will be to perform at a correctional facility in Austin, TX and then to attend a press conference with state legislators to talk about Texas’ criminal justice system. The Grammy-award winner will also co-host a criminal justice event with Politico in Washington, DC and pay a visit to a prison in California.
More artists will be added to the campaign in the future.
“I’m just trying to create some more awareness to this issue and trying to make some real change legislatively,” he said. “And we’re not the only ones. There are senators that are looking at this, like Rand Paul and Cory Booker, there are other nonprofits that are looking at this, and I just wanted to add my voice to that.”

A video posted on Instagram, reportedly by Jackson juveniles, has community activists on edge, with many saying the video is a disgrace to the community. Jackson Police Chief Lee Vance says while the images are disturbing, are not necessarily be illegal because of gun laws in Mississippi.
Atlanta rapper YC, aka Young Chris who is best known for his Future-assisted hit “Racks,” recently got ditched at the altar.
TMZ reports that YC and his fiancee, Tia Anderson, decided to elope to Las Vegas in March and had some family and friends come with them for the ceremony. The night before the festivities, Anderson reportedly caught YC getting too friendly with a bartender and was feeling some type of way.
Anderson called everything off even though he says nothing happened. It’s reported that he did admit that he was planning on taking things further with the bartender, though.
The couple was together for five years.
