Leaked Mike Brown Autopsy Report Raises More Questions Than Answers

Though the Grand Jury is still deliberating on whether or not charges will be filed in relation to the slaying of Mike Brown, after leaking the autopsy report the St. Louis Post has sparked new fears that no charges will be brought against Officer Darren Wilson, as protesters have already started preparing for the worst.

Using documents prepared by the St. Louis County medical examiner, the Post is reporting that Brown may have been reaching for the officer’s gun at the onset of the shooting, though this speculation comes from two experts not actually directly related to the case. Additional information which alleges that Brown was “belligerent” comes from Detective Hokamp of the St. Louis Police Department, though critics have already noted that the actual police report is largely blank, leaving questions unanswered as to what exactly transpired.

According to the autopsy report, “The deceased body sustained multiple gunshot wounds: three wounds to the head, one wound was to the top of the head, right eye and right central forehead area.” The report summarizes that the official cause of death were the gunshots sustained to the head and the chest.

Assistant medial examiner Gershom Norfleet who actually  performed the autopsy, has advised that he was called to the scene roughly 90 minutes after Brown was killed with the official time of death documented as 12:15pm on August 9th. Norfleet has declined to give any additional comments.

The Grand Jury has until January 2015 to decide whether official charges will be filed or not.

Ryan Phillippe Talks Making “Terrible” Movie With 50 Cent

(AllHipHop News) Actor Ryan Phillippe recently presented his directorial debut with the movie Catch Hell. While speaking with the L.A. Times about his new film, Phillippe discussed having to appear in struggling independent pictures in recent years. The star of Cruel Intentions and Crash pointed out one picture that also featured a well-known rapper-turned-actor as a least favorite of his.

“I did this terrible movie with 50 Cent,” said Phillippe. “It was just a situation I didn’t want to be in. I was sold a bill of goods and it turned out to be something different, which is often the case in this business.”

The film was called Setup and also featured Bruce Willis and Randy Couture. The movie was released straight to video in 2011 via 50’s Cheetah Vision production company.

Phillippe revealed the experience of working on Setup partially inspired Catch Hell which is about a past-his-prime actor forced to do a poorly financed indie movie. Unlike real life, the events in Catch Hell take a much more terrible turn for the worse.

“I’ve made 30-plus films over 20 years,” said Phillippe. “And in my opinion, five of them are good. So you slave away and you work hard and you want to make something great, and a lot of times you end up disappointed.”

Billionaire Alki David Wants To Take Battle Rap Mainstream Starting With “Ether” Event

(AllHipHop News) One of the most memorable parts of Hip Hop culture from 2014 will most likely be the fact that battle rap exploded beyond YouTube. From the Eminem sponsored “Total Slaughter” TV show and event to the BET Hip Hop Awards featuring battlers performing on the main stage during the show, the lyrical competition is slowly creeping its way into the mainstream.

Billionaire Alkiviades “Alki” David of the Greek Leventis family is looking to push battle rap even further into pop culture. The self-confessed fan of Hip Hop and former break dancer sees battle rap as a valuable art form. David’s first move into the industry will be the upcoming “Ether” showcase for his FilmOn.TV internet television site.

“This is definitely the beginning of a UFC-style league for battle rap,” David told the Phoenix New Times. “It’s an intellectual sport and real social commentary.”

The main event for “Ether” is the much talked about match-up between Cassidy and Dizaster. The event will also present a “hologram experience” that will include special guests. David has prior history involving virtual performances. He played a role in the creation of the Tupac Shakur hologram at the Coachella Festival in 2012.

“The format has to be something the mainstream can understand,” said David. “I think what’s going to happen is the poetry of the spoken word will be elevated more and more, because eventually saying ‘f****t’ and ‘n***a’ are going to have to be replaced by something more competitive… There’s only so far you can go.”

“Ether” is scheduled to stream live on December 6th.

“What man wakes up and says, ‘You know what, today I want to end my career. Today I want to figure out a way to stop my kids from eating. Today I want to commit career suicide,'” says Tyrese. “You know you done f**ked up right?”

The star of the Fast and Furious series goes on to add that the role of “Jody” in Baby Boy was originally written for Tupac Shakur, and after Pac died he was the only person up to replace him in the part. Tyrese then points out that Spanky would have been a teenager at the time the movie was filmed. He also threatens to call the top stand-up comedy venues to get Spanky blackballed from the industry.

A lot of input from cool writers. I’m already saying too much.”

T.I. Addresses How He Settled Iggy Azalea/Snoop Dogg Beef

(AllHipHop News) Last week the music world was highly focused on the back-and-forth between Iggy Azalea and Snoop Dogg. The online feud began when Snoop posted a meme on Instagram making fun of Iggy. The disagreement was resolved when Iggy’s mentor T.I. jumped in to help settle the situation. Tip was asked about his role in the Iggy versus Snoop incident during an interview with Hot 97’s Ebro.

“I have the utmost love, admiration, and respect for Snoop, so the conversation never made its way to that,” explained T.I. “It was just kinda like, ‘I’m in the crossfire big dog. What’s going on? I can’t dodge many more.'”

The creator of the newly released album Paperwork added that Snoop immediately conveyed to him that the “beef” was over and it was just a joke that went too far.

Hip-Hop Rumors: The REAL Reason Chief Keef Was Dropped!

I heard things were getting pretty tense up there at Interscope Records with Chief Keef a ways back. And I also heard the reasons that he was dropped from his wonderful label up there at Interscope. Well, I of course have my own sources and they are saying some other stuff about why he was dropped from the label.

Do I need to say more?

Keef has a new album coming up and they wanted Interscope to support the project the way they have with other artists. But, my sources – which are not affiliated with either Interscope or Keef – said that they just didn’t want to pay for it. Seems like Keef got more expensive than he was bringing in money-wise.

There are apparently a lot of other reasons too, which you can

Hip-Hop Rumors: Wiz Khalifa Spotted Having Dinner With Who?

If its one thing those Kardashian sisters know how to do, its pissing off other women.

Single and ready to mingle Wiz Khalifa was recently spotted out having dinner with none other than Khloe Kardashian, who recently dumped her boo, French Montana. The pair were spotted in Beverly Hills Phillipe Chow, and tried hiding in private booths to avoid nosey diners.

What makes things interesting is the fact that Amber Rose, Khalifa’s soon-to-be ex-wife of course dated Kanye West and made it clear that she felt Khloe’s sis Kim played a part in the demise of she and Kanye’s relationship.

All of that is too close to home and too messy. Not a good look Wiz. Not at all.

Major – “96” (Produced By LostDreamer)

If you’re a hip-hop head a lot of you are familiar with the phrase “like we bringin’ ’88 back”. To the previous generation this was an ode to a time when the game was at a peak and a way to pay homage to the era that was. Step into the current wave of artists who remember a different time when the rhymes were grimy, extravagant and ignorant. We refer to this as simply ’96. New York native Major captures the feel perfectly on his brand new single of the same name, embodying what it was to be a part of arguably the biggest year hip-hop has ever given us. Backed by a dark and synth driven beat produced by LostDreamer, the now Florida transplant puts in bar work reminiscent of his idols that will leave you questioning just exactly what year it is. This will live on his upcoming project “The Century” which is slated for release in 2015. Look for the visuals, coming soon.

Nardwuar is known for blowing his subjects away (and making them slightly uncomfortable) with how much he knows about them and his interview with  TDE’s Ab-Soul was no different. Before the convo kicked off, Soulo warned the human serviette “if you say something too weird I might punch you.” Luckily no blows were thrown. Watch below to see what goodies Nardwuar brought for the Black Lip Pastor and his reaction to his homie, battle rapper Daylyt, almost taking a number two on stage.
