Bobby Shmurda Talks Being In Strip Club With His Mother, Getting Free Food For Shmoney Dance + More (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) If Reddit co-founder Aaron Schwartz is The Internet’s Own Boy, then Bobby Shmurda is Twitter’s Hot Ni**a. Today (July 15th), Shmurda appeared on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club and spoke on the success of “Shmoney Dance”, being in the strip club with his mother and more.

During a 4th of July performance, Meek Mill brought out Shmurda to perform “Hot N*gga” at gentleman club King Of Diamonds in Miami. According to Shmurda, an unexpected guest arrived to the show and helped him get lap dances:

My mom was in [King of Diamond] with me. I’m like ‘Mom, what you doing in K.O.D? What you doing here?’ ‘I came to she show’…She flew down there. Yeah, throwing money, watching me getting lap dances and all types of stuff. I’m like ‘Ma, get out of here’.

Free items is almost a rite of passage for famous (and Twitter famous) people. Shmurda is no different and claims that a chef at an undisclosed Manhattan restaurant offered him his food for simply being “that kid just caught a body about a week ago”:

I was hungry. We were waling around. We came into the store. They were closing. I was like ‘hey, y’all ain’t got no food.’ He was like ‘hey, ain’t you that kid just caught a body bout a week ago?’ I was like ‘Yeah’.

Pharrell: Girls Will Help Pick The Music For NBA 2K15

(AllHipHop News) Pharrell claims it’s impossible for him to be a feminist but he’s all about equality of the genders…even on basketball video games. Today (July 15th) Pharrell was announced as the music curator of 2KSports’ upcoming NBA 2K15 and explains how the female influence will be hard to miss.

The music of the past two iterations of NBA 2K15 have been curated by Lebron James and Jay Z, having a predominately Hip Hop focus. According to Complex, Pharrell admits to not necessarily knowing what a crossover is or how to do one, Pharrell states that sports games are heavily influenced by females, even if they are simply spectating:

There are girls that play the game and there’s a lot of girls that are around it because their boyfriends play it or their friends play it. So I thought it’d be such an interesting twist to have the girls weigh in on the song list, because they’re the ones that listen to it, they listen to it just as much. So I was just trying to pick like an alternative approach, you know, because how do you follow up like LeBron and Jay?

Pharrell admits that on the cover of N.E.R.D’s debut album In Search Of, band member Shay was playing a basketball game. He later states that Lebron James leaving the Miami Heat to return home to the Cleveland Cavaliers hurt, but he understands the decision:

But I get it, you know, I understand. You know, that’s where he’s from. It’s always like a… coming home is a big thing for anyone. It’s going out and done it. You know, he went out and proved something.

No word on which songs will make the soundtrack or how many songs will be featured. NBA 2K15 is slated to be released on October 7th.

Bang Em Smurf Talks 50 Cent Dissing Sha Money XL + Talking With Young Buck Before G-Unit Reunion

(AllHipHop News) In a recent interview with Mikey T The Movie Star, Bang ‘Em Smurf discusses how 50 Cent’s recent social media disses towards Sha Money XL are “corny” and why he is ok with Young Buck siding with G-Unit after his fallout with 50 Cent.

On June 19th, 50 Cent posted a photograph on his personal Instagram account blocking out Sha Money’s face and calling him “Soft” and that he will “always lose against me” in the photo’s caption. According to Bang Em Smutf, 50 Cent is “corny” for dissing a man whom was integral in the formation of 50 Cent’s early success:

Sha Money’s a good brother [that] put his life on the line for [50] as well. Just by rolling with him. Cause Sha Money ain’t no gangsta or none of that. He been an executive in this game for a minute. About his money. So, he actually put his life on the line by rolling with 50. You know what I mean? Did a lot of groundwork for 50. A lot of studio sessions with 50 pressed all the CD’s with G-Unit, for 50. He did a lot, so that was actually corny on 50’s behalf

Back in 2012, Smurf stated that him and Buck were still friends due to the fact that neither one of them disrespected each other during 50 Cent’s feud with Smurf. Buck and 50 engaged in a war of words back in 2008 after 50 Cent released a taped phone coversation between him and Young Buck. On the G-Unit song “Nah I’m Talking ‘Bout”, Buck enthusiastically proclaims “50 said we ain’t never going broke”, a claim Smurf can respect as a reason for Buck to reunite with G-Unit:

I spoke to [Young Buck] a few times. Buck a good one too. I always had love for Buck. But, you know, at the end of the day he had business with 50. So he going to ride with 50. I ain’t mad at that. I got love for Buck.

Drake Announces Title Of His Next Album

(AllHipHop News) Drake seems to be a man of his word. Earlier today (July 15th), Drake revealed in a press release that he has the title for his next album.

According to the press release, Drake’s next album will be entitled Views From The 6, seemingly deriving its name from the two major area codes in Canada (416- Toronto, 647- Ontario). Drake’s album will be released after his Warner Bros-distributed OVO Sound releases Majid Jordan’s EP “Place Like This” and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO” on July 29th.

While there is no release date for Drake’s album, his “0 to 100” lyrics alludes to his other affiliates P. Reign and OB Obrien releasing albums as well.

Drake is set to host the 2014 ESPY Awards tomorrow (July 16th) in Los Angeles, California. The event is set to air live at 9 P.M EST on ESPN.

Honestly I had no idea Young Joc was even married considering his behavior on LHHATL this season, but yes Joc is indeed married and his wife is fed up with the reality TV shenanigans and is filing for divorce.

TMZ reports:

The wife of “Love and Hip Hop” star Yung Joc must have finally reached her tolerance level of watching her hubby and his sidepiece on TV … so she’s pulling the plug on their marriage.

Alexandria Robinson filed to divorce the 31-year-old rapper. They were high school sweethearts and have been married for 13 years. They have 3 kids.

Alexandria acknowledges in her docs … she and Joc have been separated since Feb. 2012.

She wants the works — spousal and child support. She says she only pulls in $1,875 a month. But she’s banking on getting royalties from his music publishing rights.

Not surprisingly, Alexandria cites adultery as grounds for the divorce.

Joc’s been carrying on a high profile relationship with Karlie Redd on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.” They live together on the show. And get this … the GF gets really p##### off when she suspected he cheated on her.”

Yesterday (July 14th) Tran posted a photo on her personal Instagram account seemingly alluding to a recent breakup with Brown as it stated “you have shattered my heart, but you have not shattered my love.” During her recent interview on Just KeKe, the 26 year old model stated that he hardest part about her relationship with Brown was “the heartbreak, because it was a real situation” and thus began tearing up. Before that statement, Tran explains the difficulty in dating a celebrity with an even more famous ex:

It’s the case of the ex. We all go through it But In this case, my boyfriend is a celebrity, whose ex-girlfriend is an even bigger … you know what I’m saying,” she said. “Not only am I fighting a battle with her, I’m fighting a battle with her 14 million fans. So imagine how that feels for me.

Rumors have been circulating for months that Beyonce and Jay-Z’z marriage has been on the rocks for a while now. The Mirror is reporting that to keep their relationship from going under, they’ve been having online sessions via Skype with a marriage counselor.

“With continuing speculation concerning the state of their union, the couple have added further fuel to the fire by undertaking marriage counseling.

The duo, currently on their his ’n’ hers On The Run tour – which is unfortunate timing – are reportedly having online and Skype sessions with a therapist in a bid to maintain a strong relationship.

Says a source: “It might sound drastic but in America especially, counselling is fairly standard procedure.
“They have known their therapist for a long time and try to have weekly sessions just to keep communication open and make sure there are no misunderstandings.

“It’s about maintenance rather than trying to fix anything hugely wrong. They are both happy and their daughter, Blue Ivy, remains their absolute priority.””
