Hip-Hop Rumors: Which Stars Were High At The BET Awards?

Man, I heard the BET Awards were interesting to those that were in attendance. I heard it was a lot of fun. But, as you may have noticed, I heard some of them were high as a kite out there! First things first, Bobby Brown. I don’t believe that BB was on drugs, but alcohol can get you high too and I heard he was lit like a Christmas tree on December 24. I didn’t even see what he did. The other one was Paula Patton. Now, she was acting so dumb blonde on the stage, nobody could quite tell if she was high or just acting like a ditz. But, a lot of people I was in contact with speculated that she was ON ONE, but she knew it. There is a sad aspect to it. I heard that El DeBarge was definitely high, but the issue with that is, he’s an addict in real life, from what I was told. So, he and some of the other DeBarge Family members have real life substance abuse issues. And it was clear when he was eating the mic or something. I hope he can get help for that.

Here is Paula and some commentary to boot.

Rumor has it, Robin got p##### at Paula, boyyeeeeeeeeeee….she in the cat house.

I’m sure these guys weren’t the only ones – allegedly!

Rapper Who Tried To Sacrifice Friend To The Illuminati Heading To Prison

(AllHipHop News) The story of local Virginia rapper Wafeeq Sabir El-Amin’s attempt to offer his friend as a blood sacrifice to the Illuminati almost seemed to wild to be true, but the jury in his malicious wounding case believed his victim’s version of the situation as the truth. As a result El-Amin has been sentenced to eight years in prison.

The two-day trial in Henrico County centered around conflicting stories from El-Amin and his best friend and music partner Curtis Brown who alleged that he was the target of El-Amin’s sacrificial offering.

On the day of the incident last December, both men reportedly smoked marijuana, meditated, and drank a sleep-inducing substance called “God juice” together. The two also got into a conversation about the power of the sun, mind voyages, and the secret society known as the Illuminati.

At that point the two versions of events began to separate. El-Amin and Brown both ended up shooting at each other with El-Amin taking a bullet to the abdomen and Brown being shot in the hand.

El-Amin testified that Brown was the aggressor. Brown said the El-Amin tried to kill him for a $50 million dollar record deal. According to Brown, El-Amin told him “you are my sacrifice” before firing at his head.

Evidence presented at trial showed that El-Amin shot first. Jurors convicted the 27-year-old of malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. He was sentenced to eight years in prison and a $200 fine for the drug possession charge.

Henrico County Deputy Attorney Thomas L. Johnson described the case as “strange, bizarre, eccentric.”

Drake Explains Why He Didn’t Attend BET Awards

(AllHipHop News) When an artist receives a dozen award show nominations that is usually a guarantee that the audience will get to see that person at the event. That was not the case for Drake who was nominated 12 times at this year’s BET Awards.

While most of the stars arriving on the red carpet were not even sure who was scheduled to perform at the show, there was talk that Drake had planned to attend and perform, but when the lights went up the Young Money rapper was not at the Nokia Theatre.

Rumors began to circulate that Drake pulled out of the show at the last-minute because the “Started From The Bottom” performer wanted to avoid R&B singer Chris Brown. Brown and Drake have had a very public feud over the last year after the two were engaged in a bottle throwing incident at a New York City night club.

Drake took to Twitter to clear up the matter. He announced that his absence from the awards show was the result of him wanting to focus on his music and his family.

Radaronline reportedly had sources reveal that Drake’s decision not to attend threw off the show with producers scrambling to figure out how to replace him.

“Everything is in flux,” claimed Radaronline’s source. “The producers are all pulling their hair out.”

There were obvious moments during the broadcast when the show’s host Chris Tucker had to fill in time with him even asking producers on camera if they were ready to move on. Representatives from BET have not commented on the record about Drake not attending the show as of yet.
