Jay-Z is catching all types of hell right now. Yesterday, he reportedly pump faked the press with Beyonce as his co-D. The pair “cancelled” an appearance at Barney’s but eventually showed up anyway. Well, this was all to promote the collection at Barney’s. Well, people are in a rage! I don’t know about the actual streets, because I don’t go outside, but online, people are furious! It seems that the clothing is very expensive and nobody that loves Jay Z can afford this stuff. Now local News 11 DID stay just in case and they got people’s reactions. Those that were interviewed had a range of views, ranging from supportive to…what’s Jay really doing here.

I can’t see this happening to be real. But, the rags are saying that Eminem and ex-Kim Mathers, the subject of a lot of his music, may be getting back together. Now, they have their daughter together as you all know. So, the word is Kim and Em are spending more and more time together, all in the guise of him coming over to her house to see Haille. And, the insider is saying that they are getting along way better than they ever did. Furthermore, they are stating that Kim has been clean off drugs for years. Even more, they say that Eminem is moving into a house extremely close to where Kim currently lives. Radaronline has Marie Hartter, the grandmother of Eminem’s adopted daughter Whitney, saying, “As far as I know they’re not together, but I think your first love they’re always going to have that tumultuous back and forth thing going –always. They’ve been in love since they were 14 or 15 and that’s not going to stop anytime soon.”

EXCLUSIVE: Rick Ross' New Artist Tracy T Talks Signing With Maybach Music Group

(AllHipHop News) Maybach Music’s newest signee Tracy T took a moment to speak with AllHipHop.com while recording at the Maybach Music Group recording Studio in Florida, to speak on what brought him into the fold at the “untouchable” empire.

According to Tracy T, he started rapping at the young age of 7, on the East Side of Atlanta.

“I’m from Atlanta, Acadia, East Side ATL ,” Tracy T told AllHipHop.com. “I been rapping since I was 7-years-old. my first time in the studio was 7 years old. since then I ain’t never looked back. me and Beat Billionaire, we was working back at Grand Hustle in 07-08. I lost contact w/ him and its 2013 an I bump into a studio with him in ATL.”

The pair’s chemistry in the studio led to their collaborative effort “16,” which caught the attention of Maybach’s head honcho, Rick Ross.

“We took it to big homie and he gave it the green light,” Tracy T explained. “It was work from jump street, genuine love. There wasn’t any fake s**t or business hype, he kept it all the way real. ‘Work, work, work…check out how that work go…work, work, work.'”

B.o.B Host Underground Luxury Listening Session In Miami

Last night in Miami, B.o.B and Felisha Monet of 99 Jamz hosted the “Underground Luxury” listening experience inside Haven Lounge.

The rapper played cuts off his third album Underground Luxury, which is set to be released for Dec 17.

The album includes appearances from Future , 2Chainz and Chris Brown, while B.o.B handled a lot of the production on the release.

Jay Z's Controversial Barney's Collection Revealed, No-Shows Racial Profiling Hearing

(AllHipHop News) Jay Z’s much discussed “A New Holiday” collection with Barneys was released online and in stores yesterday (November 20th).

The collection featured expensive items such as a $695 cashmere mask, $875 Black, python brim Brooklyn hat and  a $33,900 gold Hublot watch. The hefty price tag may not be having an adverse effect on sales as The New York Daily News reported a 21 year old NYU student named Andrew Davey purchased $3,000 worth of merchandise from the BNY NYC SCC line.

Yesterday was also the day of the City Council hearing on the probing of the racial profiling allegations. Jay Z, nor anyone from Barneys and Macy’s attended the hearing but instead had statements denying allegations. The NYC Commission on Human Rights announced at the hearing that the group has given Barneys as well as 16 other retail stores until Friday (November 22nd) to provide the pertinent information for this investigation. The information requested includes loss prevention policies; procedures for approaching and detaining individuals suspected of theft; records regarding all individuals accused of theft in the past two years; and what, if any presence, NYPD officers have in the retail locations.

City Council member Jumaane Williams was disgusted by the absences:

I’m offended that Barneys New York and Macy’s is not here. I think it’s insulting, not just to the City Council, but to the City of New York and the people who shop there

Last week (November 15th) Jay Z announced in a statement on his Life+Times website that he was given “a leadership role and seat on a council specifically convened to deal with the issue of racial profiling” as a condition to him continuing his partnership at Barneys.

(AllHipHop News) As Jay Z’s exclusive collection at Barneys New York debuted yesterday and the media attention to the alleged incidents of racially profiling at the retailer started to die down, one of Jay’s business associates working on the project offers his opinion about the allegations and the response.

Joanie Lemercier, the art director of the Barneys window display featuring the Jay Z line, spoke with the New York Daily News. The French citizen apparently feels that the two cases of Barneys customers claiming they were detained for stealing only because of their race would not be an issue where he’s from.

“I cannot understand why the press makes such a big deal out of two incidents. In Europe this wouldn’t happen,” said Lemercier.

Lemercier goes on to explain that theme of the window display is “black and white” with it being an artistic representation of Jay’s rise from “darkness” to “light.”

“It’s about Jay Z coming from the Marcy projects, from the darkness of Brooklyn, and into the bright city of light of Manhattan,” explains Lemercier. He also says that he was hired by Barneys, and he collaborated with Jay on the theme for the display.

(AllHipHop News) Forbes is back with their latest list of top money making musicians, and a few Hip Hop related artists cracked the Top 25. Music sales, tour profits, endorsements, and business ventures helped these stars all gross over $30 million dollars from June 1st, 2012 through June 1st, 2013.

Beyoncé’s $53 million put her at number nine for the year. She was tied with country star Kenny Chesney. Media mogul Diddy (11) just missed crossing into the top 10 with a total of $50 million. Rihanna’s $43 million (tie 16) edged out her mentor Jay Z with $42 million (tie 18), and Dr. Dre broke into the top 20 with $40 million. They all fall way short of the Queen of Pop. Madonna’s staggering $125 million put her comfortably in the number one spot.

The business magazine uses information from some of the artists, managers, and lawyers as well as data collected from Pollstar, the RIAA, and Nielsen SoundScan to tabulate the estimates of the entertainer’s pretax income.

DJ Premier Gives Update On Joint Album With Nas (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Hip Hop heads have been waiting for years to hear a full joint album from DJ Premier and Nas. Premo sparked anticipation for the possible collaborative project last month at the A3C Hip Hop Festival when he answered a question about the LP by saying, “it’s coming.”

EME caught up with the legendary producer at the Global Spin Awards to talk about when the Nas/Premo album will manifest. According to Premier, fans of tracks like “N.Y. State of Mind” and “Represent” will have to wait a little while longer. That’s because Nas will be dropping another solo album first and then the world will get to hear God Son spit over Premier’s tracks for an enitre LP.

“The Nas collaboration has not started yet. He has another album that he’s coming out with first,” says Premier. “Until that one drops, nothing’s happening, but it’s gonna happen after that one.”

Premier also reveals that has been working on songs with Lady Rage, Slaughterhouse, M.O.P., and Joey Bada$$ and plans to connect with Macklemore as well.

Chris Brown Being Treated For ADD & Depression While In Rehab

(AllHipHop News) Chris Brown has been dealing with a lot of legal issues over the last several months. It turns out the R&B star has also been dealing with clinical mental and emotional issues as well. Radar Online got access to documents which indicate that Brown suffers from Attention Deficit Disorder and depression and is being treated for those conditions while in rehab.

A probation report reveals that Brown’s set backs in his anger management treatments were the result of him feeling that he was not properly credited with community service hours he had performed. It also states that the 22-year-old singer attempted to enter the P.A.A.W.S. program as part of the terms for his probation, but was unable to do so because he was on medication at the time. The program prohibits workers using meds.

Brown is still on probation for the 2009 assault on then girlfriend Rihanna. After facing another assault charge in Washington, D.C., he admitted himself into rehab before being kicked out of the program for another violent outburst. A judge ordered Brown back to rehab for 90-days. He is also subject to random drug testing and must take any medication prescribed by his doctors.
