Hip-Hop Rumors: Peter Gunz Aired Out His Cheating on ‘LHHNY’ For Money

Now that Peter Gunz has aired out his love triangle with Tara and Amina on Love & Hip-Hop, he has some explaining to do. The biggest question people have is, why would he do this knowing he would get hardcore busted. Welp, he did it for the money and because he knew that his sloppiness would get him caught up anyway but really more because of the money.

Peter Gunz chatted wit Sway and talked about how he’s strapped for cash. His single, “Deja Vu” did well but Steely Dan got all the money from that because they own the publishing. Gunz said that despite having rich friends,” he didn’t want to mooch off of anyone so he moved forward with Love and Hip-Hop.

“I was gonna get busted anyway so let me get paid to get busted,” he said. Hey, at least he’s holding himself accountable. Check out the full interview below (money conversation starts at about 4:55).

Eminem Makes Public Service Announcement Against Music Piracy

(AllHipHop News) A great man once said “want my old sh*t, buy my old albums”, but there is also the adage “the best things in life are free.” Today (November 1st), Eminem sent out a public service announcement to address online piracy in the wake of his latest album The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

The album leaked online earlier this week and the Shady Records machine quickly went to work to suppress the leak. Eminem and his management even went as far as making Rap Genius remove the lyrics to the songs:

In Eminem’s public service announcement posted on the Shady Records YouTube page, he comically denounced the act of music piracy stating that it takes money from people who work hard on the album. But, he did empathize with those pirating:

Not that I wouldn’t have done the same thing when I was a kid, but now that I rap for a living, BUY MY G####### CDs!

In his 15 year career, no Eminem solo album has sold less than 3 million records worldwide and his last album, the heavily pirated 2010 Recovery sold 741,000 copies in its first week.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Alleged Side Hoe Might Mess Up Future’s Future!

What is the deal with these side piece chicks? So, that’s what’s up now? We all know that Ciara and Future are happily engaged. And we know that Future has been able to rise able most of the BS in his pursuit of happiness. BUT, it seems like somebody from his past (or present) is trying to get some attention.

So, there is some chick named Jessica that says in the near future Future is going to do something special for her birthday. That day is supposedly Nov. How do we know? She tweeted it.

Jessica ‏@_ImGorJess – “Can’t wait to see the suprises my baby has set up for my birthday ☺ #November4th”

So, I totally wouldn’t know what this chick was talking about if not for the replies from the chicks following her. In fact, if not for the people that follow her, I wouldn’t even know who she is! Basically, they are saying this his Future’s side chick to Ciara. My question is, how does a side jawn so brazenly put herself out there as a home wrecker? Back in the day, that would be a tough question to answer….nowadays…not so much. The opportunities are ENDLESS!

Funny thing, Ciara has already kinda answered this.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Kim Kardashian Sues YouTube Founder For Leaking Engagement Video

Today in attention w#### news, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are so p##### that their engagement video “mysteriously leaked” online that they’ve targeted the person they believe to be the offending party.

Via Radar Online:

Kim Kardashian has filed a lawsuit against Chad Hurley, accusing the YouTube co-founder of leaking Kanye West‘s wedding proposal at AT&T Park in San
Francisco, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.

Hurley filmed a behind-the-scenes video of West’s over-the-top proposal to Kim on her 33rd birthday, Oct. 21.

In the clip, a 50-piece orchestra is playing Lana Del Ray‘s “Young and Beautiful” before the rapper, in a dark suit, bends down on one knee and proposes to the reality TV star, in a short white dress, with a 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond stunner.

But Kardashian was seeing red after the video appeared online, because in the lawsuit, she alleges that Hurley signed a confidentiality agreement.

The documents stated that the people who signed were aware that the images of the engagement were the property rights of someone else. Keeping Up With The Kardashians cameras were also filming but Kanye and Kim have final approval.

If this is true, the owner and founder of YouTube should no better, especially considering how they’re quick to mute and shut down videos due to copyright infringement.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Chris Brown May Be Headed To Jail!

Even though he’s gotten some positive support, Chris Brown may be steadfastly facing jail time over. We know that Breezy has been given time after time to recover. But sources are telling TMZ that the DA is going to slay Chris Brown for violating his probation. Remember, he’s still in hot water for beating Rihanna down. Here is what they are saying:

Sources connected with the L.A. County Probation Dept. tell TMZ … probation officials think Brown’s violent outbursts have escalated and checking into a rehab facility now is “too little, too late.” The Probation Dept. is aggressively investigating last weekend’s incident in Washington D.C. where Chris was arrested for assault. As we first reported, probation officers interviewed Chris on Monday, hours before he checked himself into a Malibu rehab joint. One source familiar with the case tells TMZ, “Probation is gunning for this guy. They’re embarrassed by what he’s done over the last 2 years and they’ve had it.” We’re told the die has already been cast … Probation will submit a scathing report to the judge, who will decide whether to revoke Chris’ probation. If that happens, Brown could be sentenced to prison for as long as 4 years.

Four years is a crazy length of time for a softie like Breezy. Beating up Frank Ocean is one thing and Bubba from Cell Black A is another.

Jay Z Adds His 1st Ever Men’s Cologne To Barneys Collection Amid Controversy

(AllHipHop News) No official word on if Jay Z gathered all the facts on the recent allegations of racial discrimination placed on Macy’s and Barneys yet, but it seems as if his working relationship with them is intact. According to Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) Jay Z will add his first ever cologne to his upcoming Barneys collection.

The cologne, called Gold went through 3,200 possible names and according to Donald J. Loftus, president of Parlux Ltd., the name was chosen when Jay Z grabbed the cologne and said “This is the sh*t; it’s gold.”

The fragrance will be promoted through a few outlets and intriguingly will feature a Macys window display of Jay Z transforming into a gold chain. The fragrance will be available on November 20th at Barneys NY and then released nationwide afterwards at prices between $39 and $79.

According to a lawsuit filed by Turkish immigrant Ayla Gursoy, Macy’s security guards had an arrest quota of five per week and had a “race code system” to “facilitate its targeting of Middle Eastern, African-American/black and other nonwhite shoppers.”

Rapper Tricked Jail Officials In Order To Film Music Video While Locked Up

(AllHipHop News) One of the oldest sayings in entertainment is “the show must go on.” It seems that is even the case if the performer is serving jail time on drug related charges. William Harness (who goes by the rap name Struggle Jennings) would not let being locked up in Tennessee’s Davidson County jail stop him from shooting scenes for a music video even if he had to trick officials to do it.

Davidson County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Karla West revealed that the department allowed a camera crew to enter the jail under the impression they were interviewing Harness for a documentary. The footage from the visit actually ended up in the video for the rapper’s song “Black Curtains” that was uploaded to his blog and YouTube channel.

“They sat there and asked him 20 minutes worth of questions, just as they would with any documentary about his life and different things like that. At the end they asked, as part of the documentary, could he mouth some of the words to his song and I allowed that,” West told News Channel 5. “We were duped when it seems as though now, their purpose from the beginning was to try to get that accomplished so it could turn into a video, not a documentary at all.”

The “interview” was shot in 2012 before Harness was transferred to another facility, but the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office did not find out about the music video until a week ago.

The DCSO is considering legal action against the production company Creativity for Hire. A letter requesting that all images of the jail or its employees be removed from the video was sent to the creators of the clip.

UPDATE (11/2): Struggle Jennings released a statement concerning this matter via Facebook. It reads in part:

I received word today about the situation with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office regarding the release of my latest project “Black Curtains”.. Apparently they feel that they were “tricked” by us. Well I honestly believe this was not the case. When the production company arrived at the jail they were given guidelines and proper procedures to follow during filming. Forms were signed and access was granted. No laws were broken and we meant no disrespect nor were we shown any. A public relations representative for DCSO was present in the room the entire time and like all of the staff at the jail that day they were kind and professional to myself and my crew in every way. Our plan all along was to film enough footage to release a short film, in music video format, to build awareness and excitement for the full length “I Am Struggle” documentary… So during filming that day, when we saw the opportunity to shoot the performance footage for “Black Curtains” we respectfully asked permission. We were granted permission to film my vocal performance with no limitations placed on how, when or in what format it would be used.. Our intentions were never misrepresented, maliciously or not. We didn’t trick anyone. We didn’t lie about anything. Ultimately, this is a matter of miscommunication at worst, and misunderstanding at best. The message behind my story is the importance of breaking the vicious cycle that has impacted my own life as well as so many lives around the world… We filmed this with only the best of intentions. Our actions were anything but disrespectful or deceitful. My only hope is that my story and message will reach others and show them that the cycle of the criminal lifestyle can be broken.
