Hip-Hop Rumors: Ray-J’s Ex Girlfriend Is Allegedly A Prostitute Now?

The world of rumors is revolving very slow right now. So, I got one that you may or may not care about. I know this going into it. But do you remember this one?

Yeah, that’s Danger. She’t the cute broad from Ray-J’s old reality show. Anyway, through the years, she has had different levels of crazy, including naked pics. She looks good too. But, she’s going to another level with it. The world of MTO produced some evidence that she’s now a high-priced escort (rich people talk for h#####).

The chick has a face tattoo so she keeps it exotic in her real life. But, the new pics have the tat airbrushed out.

EXCLUSIVE: The Kid Daytona Talks New Music, Knicks’ Playoff Chances + More @ Listening Session (Video)

(AllHipHop News) Chicago left an indelible impression on Bronx, NY native MC The Kid Daytona during a recent performance stop in the Windy City during his tour. The Kid Daytona previewed Running With The Bulls, his new project releasing later today (April 17th) last night at Fader’s offices in Manhattan.

Running With The Bulls is a byproduct of immense love from fans and MC’s from Chicago and a love for the 90’s era Bulls teams, Daytona’s favorite team. “Sam Bowie”, named after the NBA player selected before Michael Jordan in the 1984 NBA draft, is a smooth ode to proving your doubters wrong  containing lush cymbals and hard drums.

The 4nominal produced “Blue & Cream” featuring Chicago rhyme spitter YP is a bouncy departure from his usual slow grooves.  Daytona’s bravado and cadence make lines such as “make a white b*tch twerk like Hannah Montana” seem relatable. The vivid nature of his lyrics accompanied with his mater-of-fact tone makes Daytona’s brash bars and bragging engagingly believable. Daytona revealed at the listening session that a certain Hip Hop legend agrees:

“When me and Jadakiss shot the video for the ‘Low’ joint he was  like ‘yo, when you said ‘I came through Greenhouse with Nicole Kidman’, I really thought you came through Greenhouse with Nicole Kidman.'”

The music was relatively upbeat, but the standout track of the night, a sedative Al Dilla-produced joint entitled “Isley” exhibited Daytona in his most natural setting and the effortless cool oozed through a barrage of witty slick talk.

Besides a few technical difficulties with songs and waiting over an hour from the start time for the listening to begin, the night was a laid back affair fitting for such an MC as The Kid Daytona.

The Kid Daytona sat down with AllHipHop after the listening session to speak on his upcoming album with European label Space Monkeys, Chicago Hip Hop and which NBA players he would put on a dream team.

EXCLUSIVE: MMG’s Rockie Fresh Feels No Pressure; Talks Ross, Upcoming Video & ‘Quality Over Quantity’

(AllHipHop News) This week Chicago native Rockie Fresh stopped in New York City to perform a headlining show in Brooklyn and to celebrate his 22nd birthday (March 16). With his 5th mixtape, Electric Highway, still buzzing and more new music on the horizon, the Maybach Music Group member is ready to continue to raise his profile in the music world.

Rockie’s 2012 mixtape, Driving 88, led to a bidding war that included Diddy’s Bad Boy Records. In the end, the up-and-coming emcee signed with MMG. Even as the youngest rapper on one of the most commercially successful urban imprints in the business, Rockie is not worried about his brand of alternative rock-influenced Hip-Hop standing alongside the mafioso themed tales of Rick Ross, the street sound of Meek Mill, or the poetic approach of Wale.

“MMG is full of people that are going to push me to want to go to that next level,” says Rockie. “Wale is on his third album now. Meek is working on his second, and to just see all things they had to go through really gives me a lot of guidelines moving forward. I don’t really feel no pressure. I’m more so excited to hit my stride like that too.”

That first hand training has given Rockie the opportunity to learn about crafting songs from veteran hit makers. While having the reign to explore his own musical stylings, he works closely with Ross on his projects.

“When I want to branch out and do some different stuff, that’s never shun,” admits Rockie. “When me and [Ross are] talking and working on songs it’s real experimental. He comes up with ideas. I try it. If it fits then we keep it. If it doesn’t then we’re man enough to be like, ‘let’s change it.’ It’s real open.”

Recently, one of Ross’ lyrical ideas spurred a lot of criticism. A line from his verse on Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.” that was viewed by some listeners as promoting rape led to protests and petitions, and eventually Reebok decided to end their partnership with the MMG leader because of the controversy.

Several people in the Hip-Hop community have questioned whether the uproar over Ross’ lyrics is leading to a slippery slope that could infringe on rapper’s constitutional right of free speech. There is now a public discussion on these recent events will force artists to rethink portraying topics that some may see as inappropriate in their music going forward.

“As far as my content I want to be as honest as I can be, and that’s really my only stance on it,” says Rockie. “Most of the stuff that I relate to in my lifestyle, I don’t feel like I got a lot to watch.”

Moving past the controversy, Ross’ protégé joined forces with the boss and Lunice for the brand new single, “Panera Bread”, off Rockie’s upcoming The Birthday Tape. The video for the Ross assisted “Life Long” single featuring Nipsey Hussle is set to drop in the near future as well.

“[The ‘Life Long’ video] should be out sometime later this week or early next week. To let the people know, the sample that we used for that record is a song that’s not out yet, and I’ve been having a little trouble clearing that… when it’s done we’re getting it to the people asap,” reveals Rockie.

While the fans wait for the release of the “Life Long” visuals, Rockie wants to let his followers know that he’s constantly working even if they don’t hear new music from him as often as other artists.

“For me it’s not about rushing. I always feel like it’s quality over quantity,” says Rockie. “I’m living in a time right now where people’s attention spans are so short so everybody feels like they gotta drop stuff all day, and then fans feel like when an artist ain’t dropping something then that means they ain’t working. That’s not how it goes. People are really taking time out to put something together that people really appreciate.”

Select winners of Scion A/V’s two-week social media sweepstakes will get to hear some of the young emcee’s new material at his Public Assembly show tonight in Brooklyn. The performance will also be a belated birthday celebration for Rockie and everyone in attendance.

“I’m gonna be dropping some new records for the people, and it’s also gonna be a real fun show. I really want to celebrate life.”

For those who weren’t able to win tickets to tonight’s performance check out the trailer for the “Life Long” video and the video for “Nobody” off the Electric Highway mixtape below.

Hip-Hop Rumors: What Hip-Hop Founder Got Stabbed For Being A Date Rapist?

I told my boy ED OGz I wouldn’t touch this one, but – pause – I’ll do it without mentioning names. But, I will that this is the biggest rumor that people have said is true for a long, long, long time. I’ve refused to go there with it, but it won’t be long now.

Word on the street is that a well-known Hip-Hop founder was stabbed. Why? The rumor alleges that he slipped another man a mickey or whatever date rape drug he allegedly uses. The man passed out and wakes up to find that this old schooler had the man’s member in his mouth. The man apparently was welding a knife on him and stabbed the old schooler. Now, to the person that put this out there, I’ll give you a link back at a later time, because this one cannot be verified via me. HOWEVER, I will say that for YEARS there have been persistent and enduring rumors about this person. And the rumors extend beyond homosexuality and into pedophilia. That’s right. There may be a pedophile at the root of Hip-Hop. BUT, unfortunately there is a wall of silence on this one and the old school vet has been insulated.

Here is where it gets deeper. This old school rapper may be losing it a bit. Let me connect the dots. Remember when I wrote this? Same person.

I think it may be time – the chickens are coming to roost. This may be something TMZ will dig into, because the risk of death seems high for a Hip-Hop head…without proof. Now, if you have something you want to tell me, please email me at:
ki*********@***il.com. We cannot have people date raping and pedos are an absolute no-no.

If YOU have an idea who this is, put it in the comments…lets see.

Wiz Khalifa: “I’m Learning To Sue People And Get Money”

(AllHipHop News) Pittsburgh native Wiz Khalifa recently spoke with Esquire magazine about the biggest moment of his career, what Hip-Hop tracks he’s listening to right now, and the business advice he gain from associates of Donald Trump.

“Right now, I’m learning to sue people and get my money,” said Wiz. “After talking to people who work for Donald Trump — smart, successful people — I’ve realized I gotta go after all that. That’s what I’m going to do that I didn’t last year.”

Wiz has been involved in a couple of lawsuits in recent months. The “Work Hard, Play Hard” rapper was the one being sued in one case, and the plaintiff in another.

AllHipHop.com broke the story that songwriter Max Gregory Warren filed a lawsuit against Wiz claiming the rapper stole the his song “Pink N Yellow” and rehashed it as the #1 hit “Black & Yellow.” Warren asked for $2,375,000 in punitive and actual damages.

At the beginning of this month reports circulated that Wiz was suing a concert promotion company for $1 million. That case stemmed from a last-minute concert cancellation last December.

In the Esquire Music/Fashion spread, Wiz also reveals that his Taylor Gang comrade Juicy J’s strip club anthem “Bandz A Make Her Dance” is one of his favorite songs of the moment. He names Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like” as another track getting regular play.

With the recent release of his second major label LP, O.N.I.F.C., Wiz returned to the more marijuana-inspired sound of his earlier mixtapes like Kush & Orange Juice and Burn After Rolling.

“I’m about partying, so my songs are usually just about smoking weed and having fun. When somebody isn’t having a great day, I like to be the guy that takes that load off your back,” said Wiz.

Wiz also showed love to fellow weed aficionado Snoop Dogg stating that being on stage with the west coast legend at Coachella 2012 was a highlight of his career.

“Not only did he bring me out that night, he brought out Dr. Dre and freakin’ hologram Tupac. To be in that sentence is pretty amazing,” says Wiz.

The Wiz Khalifa feature will appear in the May 2013 issue of Esquire available on newsstands on April 23.

Rick Ross To Lose $3.5 – $5 Million From Dropped Reebok Deal

(AllHipHop News) Reebok’s decision to break ties with Rick Ross is allegedly about to set the Maybach Music Group boss back between $3.5 – $5 million according to a report by TMZ.

Apparently, Ross was getting paid every time he wore apparel by Reebok, but after he and the brand started to receive significant criticism for the rapper’s controversial lyrics in Rocko’s song, “U.O.E.N.O.,” the shoe company decided to end its partnership with Ross.

Prior to the dissolution of their business relationship, Ross did offer an apology via twitter saying, “I dont [sic] condone rape. Apologies for the lyric interpreted as rape. #BOSS.”

That statement was not enough to end the torrent of calls for Reebok to drop Ross, and on April 11 the company official announced that the deal with the Miami rapper was ending.

Several rappers including Meek Mill, Slim Thug, and Rocko came out publicly and defended Ross’ right to express himself as an artist. Rocko also suggested that Reebok owed Ross a lot of credit for making the brand relevant in Hip-Hop again.

“As far as the Reebok thing, I don’t think that was fair because what he brought to Reebok. People in my neighborhood, in my city, they’re back wearing Reeboks. It was a cardinal sin to wear Reebok before Ross started promoting ‘em. Ross stepped in and he branded ‘em and he got the urban market back in to ‘em,” Rocko told MTV recently.

Ross later offered another more detailed apology saying in part:

“I recognize that as an artist I have a voice and with that, the power of influence. To the young men who listen to my music, please know that using a substance to rob a woman of her right to make a choice is not only a crime, it’s wrong and I do not encourage it. To my fans, I also apologize if I have disappointed you. I can only hope that this sparks a healthy dialogue and that I can contribute to it.”

The second mea culpa came after Reebok chose to move on without Ross. The company issued its own statement saying in part:

“Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand. Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so.”

Reach Records’ Andy Mineo Charts High With Message And “Heroes For Sale”

Andy Mineo

“I want to combine the message that I believe in deeply with the catchiness of these hip hop songs and choruses,” says Mineo. “I really think it makes a powerful combination to speak to the hearts of people all over the world.”

Atlanta-based Reach Records’ (Lecrae, Trip Lee, etc.) latest artist Andy Mineo released his highly anticipated debut album, Heroes for Sale. The new project debuted at #2 on the iTunes Hip Hop/Rap charts just behind Kid Cudi’s new ‘INDICUD’, and #3 overall. Pretty cool for an artist of Faith.

Heroes for Sale blends a variety Mineo’s musical influences including hymns, heavy metal, hip-hop, and classical while unveiling a personal side of the hip hop artist. Mineo strips back layers of his own life in Heroes for Sale and gets real with his audience to reveal his authentic self, letting them see into his brokenness in hopes that they will identify with that.

When describing the message behind Heroes for Sale, Mineo states, “We make heroes out of a lot of things. We make heroes out of people. We believe ourselves to be greater than we really are. We make ourselves look like heroes to other people. What I really wanted to do is show the brokenness of the heroes that we create and the heroes that we try to be in order to show that there is ultimately only one great hero [God].”

The result is an 16-track album echoing bold messages and infectious beats.  Birthed from Mineo’s collaboration with highly-acclaimed artists such as the Grammy Award winning Lecrae, Trip Lee, Christon Gray and Grammy nominee Flame, the project opens with the classical hymn, “I Will Rise and Go to Jesus,” setting the stage for the remaining tracks including “Tug of War” with Krizz Kaliko lacing the hook.

Reach Records kicked off the buzz for the project with the release of a music video for the first single “AYO!”

Hip-Hop Rumors: WTF JUST HAPPENED? Amanda Bynes Disses Kid Cudi And Complex Magazine!

I have no clue what this means? But Amanda Bynes said it. She nutty.

@ComplexMag Stop acting like I’m doing something wrong. I’m obsessed with myself on twitter. Also, my video last night was perfection. I’m so sick of the articles u write about me. I want every fake article deleted. Ur d*ck whipped by my ugly ex @ducidni (Kid Cudi) who’s looks and talent have always been questionable to me, him being the ugly duckling that he is and all. U quote him non stop, then take professional shots of him for ur covers, his best photos aren’t s### compared to mine at my best. The photo u chose of Aubrey for her cover is awful. You make people look bad, stop acting like you know anything about what men like. I don’t stop getting follwed or hit on every place I go. I’m not trying to sing, but if I did (I got offered an Interscope record deal right after I filmed Hairspray which you might know if you sat down and did a normal interview. I still might take them up on their offer) get the facts as opposed to talking s###. My music is going to be sicker then whatever the f### kind of music Scott tries to do.
