Hip-Hop Rumors: Drake And The Weeknd Beefing?

These cats beefing? What’s the deal? I can’t even call it. But, beefing they supposedly are. What’s beef you may ask? This ain’t the stuff Biggie used to rap about. Seems like The Weeknd opted not to sign with Drake, because that deal is linked to YMCMB. I mistakenly thought that the OVO Label was under the Warner Brand and only Warner. But, nope. Streets say that The Weeknd didn’t like that deal and opted to go a different route to the chagrin of Drizzy. Now, this new song called “Started From The Bottom” is licking shots at The Weeknd. I thought that boy was like Drake’s best friend, but I guess he’s just smart. That’s a lot of hands in your pockets! Hands all in the weed pockets and all that! Anyway, if there is a beef, who cares…just sounds like business to me.

Hip-Hop Stars Snoop Lion, B.o.B., Busta Rhymes Share Keys To Success During BMI’s “How I Wrote That Song” Panel
(AllHipHop News) BMI held its annual pre-Grammy event panel at the Roxy last night (February 9) in West Hollywood. The panel, titled “How I Wrote That Song,” featured a variety of highly accomplished artists, including Hip-Hop icon Snoop Dogg, songwriter/artist B.o.B., rap legend Busta Rhymes, songwriter Evan Bogart, and songwriter Luke Laird.
The afternoon was filled with music and entertaining stories about how the artist’s most successful songs came to be.
The audience stayed captivated, while listening to the artists share details of what and who influenced them throughout their careers.
Everyone attending got an unexpected and special treat when B.o.B and Luke Laird gave spontaneous acoustic performances during the discussion.
The panel’s host, Catherine Brewton, BMI’s VP of Writer/Publisher Relations, opened the floor to a Q&A session, where they gave helpful and inspiring tips to aspiring songwriters and producers in the audience.

Common, Trey Songz And Ne-Yo Hitting The Court For 2013 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game
(AllHipHop News) With only a week remaining until the NBA All-Star Weekend kicks off in Houston, Texas, entertainers Common, Trey Songz and Ne-Yo have been tapped to participate in the 2013 Sprint NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.
The celebrity game is set to take place on Friday, February 15th at the George R. Brown Convention Center and is the first event that officially kicks off the 2013 NBA All-Star Weekend.
Billboard reports that “this year’s Celebrity Game will bring in Queen Latifah as an assistant coach, while Nick Cannon will also suit up for the exhibition game. Other non-musical celebrities participating in the game include “The Hunger Games” star Josh Hutcherson, Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt, comedian Kevin Hart and retired NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo.”
John Legend will be singing the National Anthem at the All-Star game on Sunday night while multi-platinum selling-singer Alicia Keys will sing at half-time.
The 2013 Sprint NBA All-Star Celebrity Game will air on ESPN starting at 7:00 pm.
Hip-Hop Rumors: A VIDEO IS BEING BOUGHT : More Bad News For Ice-T and Coco
This sh*t is crazy. Some people have reasoned that this is somehow a stunt for Ice’s TV or something of that sort.
Well, I am realizing that this is really getting real. Apparently there IS a video tape of Coco and there IS and offer for this video. The asking price was somewhere in the 100k range, which ain’t a lot of money, so I am assuming somebody accepted it.

Publicist Kali Bowyer tells RumorFix exclusively that reps for the musical artist contacted her asking for “help to promote and sell pictures and video above the 100k offer.” Now Bowyer tells us she was told the rapper “has various pics, audio and footage of him placing his hand into her private parts, acts of oral sex, doggy style positions with miscellaneous graphic exploits and sexual conduct.” Bowyer turned down the job, telling us, ” While I personally will NOT engage in something so crude and disgusting, I have no hesitation in blowing the lid off his intentions.”
Damn. Did Coc..NAH…she would do Ice dirty…would she?

I got this crazy rumor and I’m not even going to play with the rumor, because its potentially false. I think this is crazy, but peep it. Somebody sent the following. There is a longer letter, but this is the “run of show,” so to speak.

“As stated in the previous email a documentary on Mrs Jose will be released comprised of what was detailed in that email. Attached you will see Mrs Jose marriage certificate, as well as a purchase she made during her sexual relationship with Trey Songz. This is in good faith to assure you that what is said to being produced is factual. As you see Mrs Jose was indeed married to Nicholas J Brown on 6/25/2004 and is still married to this day! Also as you see a Star that is registered in Trey Songz name was purchased by her archives show the purchase was made with her credit card. Her commentary texts and pics in the documentary will in fact show and prove the nature of there sexual relationship. He is definitely a victim of her willful exposure to the disease she carries.”
I wish I had some of that Tahiry booty even with these lies, but I cannot validate the sensational claims here and I bet its just bogus. Tahiry has not responded. The supposed marriage license is below.
