Will.i.am Explains Why He Does Not Prefer Tupac or Notorious B.I.G.

Will.i.am said what he said! 

And people are mad. I don’t get folk. The man has an opinion and just because it does not line up with theirs, they are mad. Well I think the groupthink has gotten out of control. Basically, in a new interview, he said that he doesn’t like Biggie or Tupac. And he explained why. When he got deeper into the reasons and explanations, it made sense. At the headline, it seems like he’s “hating.” Nah.

But, alas: he was met with a lot of hate and annoyance from those that feel he should be like them. There are far too many rappers for Biggie and Pac to be at the tippy top of everybody’s list. So, take a second and look at what Will said.

What does Black Eyed Peas music have to do with this? Anyway, Biggie and Pac were dope, but if you came up in the 80’s or 90’s there were plenty of Goats. There were plenty of rappers that were better lyrically, but didn’t have the promo, marketing or beef.
