(AllHipHop Rumors) Young Thug is a man of many different flavors. He’s one of rap’s biggest constantly evolving figures.
If Thug isn’t changing his name then he’s changing his fashion game. If it’s not the fashion game then it’s his album name.
Young Thug recently made news for announcing that he would be changing his stage name to “SEX.” This comes after previously referring to himself as “Jeffrey,” his government name.
He would later release a project titled “No, My name is Jeffrey”. That project featured songs named after some of his musical inspirations.
Young Thug is now making another announcement as he states he won’t be releasing any more music this year. He came to the decision as a way to support his brother.
One of Young Thug’s brothers is deaf and Thug wants to live the experience with him. It’s a commendable act that many wouldn’t partake in.
In an interview with HYPEBEAST Thug says:
“I’ve got a brother who can’t hear or talk, so I want to act deaf for a year. So, I ain’t going to put out no music this year.”
He also says he plans on releasing his long-awaited debut album “HiTunes” in 2019.
“In 2019, I’m going to put out probably Hi-Tunes,” said Young Thug.
So, for now, we’ll have to wait to hear more new music. However, one thing we know for sure is we haven’t heard the last from Young Thug.
