Jay-Z is planning

to expand his 40/40 sports club to Atlantic City, according to reports. The Brooklyn

MC is looking to open his second 40/40 bar and lounge in the New Jersey town famous

for its gambling spots. While details of the new location are sparse, the club

is scheduled to open on the Fourth of July at Atlantic City Outlets.

The Dipset/Diplomat affiliates known as Purple City (Purple

City Productions or PCP) will release "Purple City’s Road To The Riches:

The Best of the Purple City Mixtapes" March 22 in collaboration with Koch

Records and Babygrande Records. At the heart of the Harlem-based crew are members

Shiest Bub "The Emperor," Un Kasa, and Agallah "The Don Bishop,"

all of whom have released over eight mixtapes and sold over 80,000 units on

the streets. "Road To The Riches" features Dipset members Juelz Santana,

Agallah and other Purple City producers.

Snoop Dogg was reportedly injured Saturday (Feb. 12) in Nottingham,

England when a concertgoer hit him in the head with a glass bottle, according

to his representative. Snoop required medical attention but no stitches were

necessary. The Long Beach, CA rapper is still currently touring overseas.

Tyran “Ta

Ta” Moore was sentenced to six years in prison for gun possession, after

being named a suspect in the shooting of an NYPD officer in Harlem in 2003.

Moore, who was later cleared of the shooting, claims that the government is

targeting him due to his association with McGriff and Irv “Gotti”

Lorenzo. McGriff is accused of the 2001 murder of rapper Eric “E-Money

Bags” Smith, while Lorenzo and his brother Christopher are accused of

laundering millions of dollars in drug proceeds for McGriff. "When I was

interrogated about the officer being shot, it took one hour or two," Moore

told the Judge. "The other interrogation took more than a day." Moore

also has a child with Sandra “Pepa” Denton of Salt-N-Pepa fame.
