Songwriter, producer and entertainerPeriod. That is how Sean Garrett describes himself.
Humbled, talented and hungry to supersede all expectations, Garrett is at again. He penned and produced Ushers “Papers,” which is blazing up the charts and posing some questions about Ushers marriage to stylist Tameka Foster. Garrett is continuing his work with Marios next song release and Rihannas new album entitled Rated R.
Described as three underdogs on a record by Garrett, it became the soundtrack of the summerBreak Up with Gucci Mane and Mario catapulting Garrett into superstar status and placing him on the list as a triple threat, begging the question: What about his album?
His first American album is untitled and is slated to be released summer 2010 featuring 14 tracks. I am pushing the envelope, pulling out the stops and calling in the favors for my album, said Garrett. His next single is Up in Your Heart featuring Gucci Mane.
Garrett has already released an album for the Japanese market in June 2008”Turbo 919. The Japanese are very passionate about the creative people who make the musicand they are eager to support you, said Garrett.
Influencing and molding Garretts eccentric portfolio of work is the King of PopMichael Jackson, Bobbi Brown and BBD (Bell Biv and DeVoe). His is a self-confessed lover of rock music and artists like Elton John and The Beatles.
Overcoming the many stumbling blocks in the industry is a story many musicians, artists and the like shareGarrett gives much praise to Jay-Z who helped him along the way. The year, 2003, would make Garrett an industry wide name, and just about everyone shouting Yeah like Lil Jon was Ushers Yeah. Followed by several other #1sCiaras Goodies featuring Petey Pablo, Ring the Alarm by Beyonce, Run It by Chris Brown and host other songs.
Currently, Garrett is on the BET Live tour and coming to a city near you with tour matesTrey Songz, Mario, Day 26 and girl group Richgirl. His first mixtape is nominated for R&B Mixtape of the Year at the 2009 Southern Entertainment Awards.
The success he has experienced, I owe it to all the all fans, said Garrett.

Garrett: Speaking to troubled and at risk kids. Its not about fame and fortune. I am about love and life.

Garrett: Diamonds they last forever.

Garrett: Wow! That is a good question. Healthcare should mandatory that everyone has healthcare.

Garrett: I wish the public knew how much I love music.

Garrett: A woman who doesnt have patience.

Garrett: Being star struck when I met Beyonceshe is so charming and beautiful.
