Rapper/actor Pras has ruled out a reunion with former Fugee member Lauryn Hill, due to her recent, erratic behavior and a series of shows that were heavily scrutinized by fans and critics a like.
When asked about why the on-again-off again reunion of The Fugees has been postponed indefinitely, Pras gives all the credit to Lauryn Hill.
"Before I work with Lauryn Hill again, you will have a better chance of seeing Osama Bin Laden and [George W.] Bush in Starbucks having a latte, discussing foreign policies, before there will be a Fugees reunion," Pras told AllHipHop.com. "At this point I really think it will take an act of God to change her, because she is that far out there."
Pras, born Prakazrel Samuel Michel, was a founding member of The Fugees.
The group garnered critical acclaim with the release of their first album Blunted on Reality in 1994.
The group followed the album with the classic album The Score, which was released in 1996 and has sold at least 17 million copies around the globe.
Each member of The Fugees has enjoyed solo success as well.
In 1997 Jean released his classic album The Carnival, while Hill released the landmark album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill in 1998.
Pras released the album titled Ghetto Supastar, which spawned the hit single "Ghetto Supastar," which featured Mya and Ol' Dirty Bastard.
"I was really a fan of Lauryn Hill’s and I felt that if she would have honed her skills she could have definitely been one of the greatest emcees. There is no way a reunion will happen," Pras painfully said.
Pras is working on his sophomore album Experience, which is scheduled to drop also later this year.
He's confident that fans will love the growth that he has endured over the past few years as well as appreciate the creative aspect of the album.
"Experience is the best teacher and over the years I have learned a lot from trial and error and it will definitely show with this album, " Pras said. "This album is more edgy with the style overall, it’s Hip-Hop but a combination of different styles and vibes."
The Grammy Award winning rapper is also planning the highly anticipated documentary Skid Row, which features Pras disguised as a homeless living in the "Skid Row" section of Los Angeles, California.
"I felt that it was important for me to do this film to showcase to my community how serious this situation is," Pras told AllHipHop.com. "Obviously homelessness is not sexy, it's embarrassing and a lot of people that are out there think that all homeless people are lazy or on drugs, but sometimes it boils down to lack of support and family."
Skid Row, which is scheduled to be released later this year, is one of many projects in which the busy emcee has a hand in.
In addition to Skid Row, Pras is also working with Michael Tyler on another upcoming political thriller titled Bel Air.
