The second one was half great half not so great. But 'dreamchasers' is one of the best storytelling tracks I ever heard. The major label album he did I didn't really care for.

I clicked on this link because I'm a big fan of 9th Wonder, but not because of Murs. Why 9th has wasted so many ill productions on Murs I'll never know, because the n***a  sucks. All of his rhymes are preachy, "feed the kids"  bulls**t, trying to disguise the fact that his flow, cadence, metaphors and overall subject matter are forgettable. I'm all for conscious rap, with n***as like Mos, Talib and even Guru getting steady rotation. But theyre dope because theyre DOPE MC'S, and Murs is far from that. Why can't 9th link up with Little Brother again, or one of the n***as I just mentioned? Hell, even Buckshot or Sean Price are due for some 9th production. But Murs? aiight I'll check those tracks out...its been a while since i sat down and gave dude a thorough listen. I fucked with that last album of his, and the only track I was feelin was that one about being on the road (again, the title escapes me). Maybe my n***as hyped Murs up so much that if he didn't spit like Talib on steroids I was gonna be disapointed lol. And I know LB/9th had a falling out too, which pisses me off because The Listening and Minstrel Show are on a short list of my favorite LPs of all time.

Different strokes I guess. Personally I think buckshot is okay but kinda boring, little brother is alright, and skyzoo sucks ass! But thats my opionion I could see why people would take buckshot over murs.

I don't think murs is all that preachy. A lot of his songs have an anti-violence meaning to them but he's hardly preaching on songs like dreamchasers or trevor anthem.
