TODAY'S RUMORS!

JIM JONES REALITY SHOW GONE?

I was all hyped up to see Jim Jones in the reality show they were filming on VH1, but I don’t know what’s become of it. It is going around that there was tension between Jim and the producers of the show. There is no such thing as a true reality show, but there is something called “scripted reality.” That’s what Run and the family do. And that works for some, but Jim Jones is the real deal. I heard he just wasn’t with the script and wasn’t able to flip it to fit his mode of operation. All the filming is supposedly done, but the editing is very tricky with a reality-based stickler like Jim Jones the Capo.

BUMP J IS FREE!

I’ll never forget bumpin’ Chicagorilla, Bump J’s mixtape. I was waiting for the official album. And,  guess what? I never got it. Well, now Bump J has formally revealed to me that he has been granted a release from Atlantic Records. Apparently, Bump went through a series of legal matters that prevented him from breaking out of the Chi. I have been told that there is no longer any beef with Twista and he’s working with NO I.D. The new mixtape is called “Dinner Time” and you can get a peek right here http://myspace.com/CHICAGORILLABUMP.

Shout out to the Goons!

JAY-Z AND CONSEQUENCE BATTLE!

Speaking of Chicago, Kanye's homey GLC hosts this clash of wits as Brookyn Vs Queens in a game of Connect 4. That's right, Connect 4. First, it was Beyonce Vs Kanye and now its...CONSEQUENCE (QUEENS) VS JIGGA MAN (BK)!

See who won!

A JOURNALIST BLOGS – JANET / MARIAH

Apparently the UK writers weren’t all happy about the way things where handled, but I think that Def Jam was on point. In this era, a cell phone can  = a leak. Here is what somebody said:

It was so deep, you were officially not allowed to actually leave your seat while they played tracks - not even to go to the toilet. Then you had to hand your lyric sheets back into the door goons like it was school assembly or summin. Why are American's so over the top? I mean, is there any need? All phones and everything were also confiscated...

BACK TOGETHER – EDDIE AND TRACEY

Well, not exactly. They just decided to issue a joint press statement on why they aren’t together.

“After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further. While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends.”

On top of it all, I heard somebody is thinking about selling the video of the broken couple for the grand sum of $1 million and has been offered about $50,000. Nobody will pay a mill for that, but maybe he can get a pair of Volkswagsons out of the deal.

AMERICAN GANGSTERS SUE!

This isn’t even a rumor, but I included it, because I found it interesting. A trio of DEA agents have filed a $62 million lawsuit against the movie house that created the hit movie “American Gangster.” The agents charge that they and hundreds of others had their reps irreparably damaged from their portrayal in the movie. They say that it was a falsehood that between Frank Lucas and Officer Roberts all these cops and agents were busted doing illegal acts in the movie. So they filed a defamation lawsuit against the movie studio. There were convictions!

RANDOM QUOTES:

Fat Joe on saying bad words:

"N***a, bitch, hoe / some chicks is bitches, some chicks is hoes ... Now who gonna tell me I can't say n***a?" (From the song "Fugitive.”) (Illseed note: somebody from the Bronx told me its not only normal, but acceptable for Fat Joe, because of where he hails from. When is Rev. Al going to comment?)

Lupe Fiasco in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly:

“When the gangbangers would try to pull it, I was like, ‘Yo, I will f**k you up. And if you wanna call your cousin, call him. I’ll call me! I’ll call me right now.’ We were shooting TEC-9s when we were babies, so the whole gangsta image, that ain’t nothing.”

Bob Johnson says, “Shorry, Obama.” Like Lisa Lisa, “Apology not accepted! (old head reference.)”

"I'm writing to apologize to you and your family personally for the un-called-for comments I made at a recent Clinton event," Johnson said in a statement. "In my zeal to support Senator Clinton, I made some very inappropriate remarks for which I am truly sorry. I hope that you will accept this apology. Good luck on the campaign trail."

NEW OLD NAS VIDEOS?

Check out these two unreleased Nas videos for “These Are Our Heroes” and “Unofficial Autobiography of Rakim.”

MIKE JONES OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED!

There used to be a saying, “We’ve got to do better.” This applies to this Mike Jones video, which uses animated cartoon vixens instead of real ones. Somebody give me his # and email so I can holla! How is Buffy the Body gonna have a plan B with fake vid babes?

ILLSEED’S QUICKIES

Four photographers were arrested for recklessly following Britney Spears. They were arrested for driving poorly. They need a new law, before they kill that girl. They are now saying that Britney Spears has multiple personalities. Finally, something me and Brit have in common.

Save the birthplace of Hip-Hop! Go to www.save1520.org and offer something to these people! Rich rap heads, show up with your wallets.

My girl Amy Winehouse is in the rumors again. They say her hubby is threatening her with divorce, because she spent some time with Mark Ronson. Nothing worse than a jailhouse hater.

Lil Wayne might be headed to the UK for a 6-show tour in the earliest part of the spring. What could stop it? Money, of course. They are supposedly working it out.

So, De La Hoya didn’t learn the first time? Rumor has it, De La and Money Mayweather are setting up a rematch of their first fight. It might even be made at this point and Mayweather's father, Floyd Sr., isn't training Oscar this time.

If you want to see the full movie of that clip I played, its from a film called “Zeitgeist” and you can get the whole thing right here.

Shout out to Lily Allen. A sad rumor coming down is that she lost her baby has a result of a miscarriage. Prayers are with you.

SIGNS THE WORLD IS NOT COMING TO AN END!

My homey Jye sent me this. I almost didn’t open it and then I said, “Jye wouldn’t send me any BS.” Sure enough, we are looking at a star by the name of Gabi Wilson.” I can't verify that Alicia Keys' back is got. This girl is coming up fast.

SIGNS THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END

I know the relatives of Christopher Columbus are mad right now. There is proofs that the sailor did more that instigate the country jacking from the natives. A new genetic report suggests very strongly that Columbus ushered syphilis to Europe from American. I don’t know what Columbus was tapping in America, but he took it to the homies. The report appears in the Public Library of Science Neglected Tropical Diseases. The report says that Columbus’ disease shows up chronologically in several forms, including the bones of ancient skeletons.

ILL PICS

I really have to step my clothing game up. Any stylists, please dress me.

People often ask me how I do these rumors every day, day in and day out. We'll I had five Tyra's for interns, but I fired them all. I am replacing them with six Lauren Londons. Here is a photoshoot for America's Next Top Model.

"Can I have my bolero hat back please?"

DAWN FROM ENVOGUE GETS OWNED…

(Warning: this is a long one and that's why it is last.) I used to be in love with Dawn from EnVogue like Phife, but she went and got married. Now, she went and got divorced and her husband has gone off on his myspace page. I don’t know what anybody did to set him off, but he sure went OFF. Peep the post:

Dawn Robinson’s ex put her on blast in a Myspace bulletin. This guy basically summed her up as a swinging washed-up diva that needs a reality check:

“First & foremost, I would hardly EVER respond to sh*t talking from anyone but today I make an exception. These two ASS HOLES have gone on a rampage to destroy my name today while no one was even THINKING about them. If you read the blog comments, I was referred to by Dawn’s sister as a transvestite f**king homosexual who beats women & has sex with every woman he meets! Wow…gay but has sex with every woman I meet…LOL…this sh*t is a laugh! Well…since she felt the need to have her sister & a few of her closest friends come over here let me give you all the REAL reason why I left Dawn’s ass!!!

One…she was signed up to porno sites & wanted to swing with other couples…before I got involved with her she admitted to sleeping with 17 men in one month from one swinging site…I GAVE HER THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT & THOUGHT SHE WAS JUST REALLY COMPENSATING FOR ALOT OF INSECURITY! I stayed. THEN…she NAGGED the shit out of me day in & day out because I was always busy & she didn’t know enough about the business to just get her own shit done…NO…she wanted to be a f***ing DIVA & complain about EVERY f***ing thing that I DID set up like she was still BEYONCE! NOBODY was checkin for her ass when I was with her! NOBODY hardly would book shows unless she was in En Vogue…I side busted & got their asses back together but the only ones who knew what they were doing was the other 3 members of the group! THEY were the smart ones!

They knew how to get shit done & book shows but I had to always appease Dawn’s ass & say…”no, you’re right baby…those old tired bitches ain’t nothing without you”…SHIT…she is quite literally THE stupidest person I have ever met…I fell out of love with her…I left her…now these IDIOTS are coming to my page trying to destroy my name with my fans??? HOW DARE YOU!!! You don’t want to dance with me! Why? Because I dont give a F**K! Your record is PUBLIC! You got kicked out of En Vogue & they didn’t even want to FACE you because you are the most DIFFICULT person in the world to deal with! They left you sitting at a photo shoot for the last album & didn’t tell you where they were at shooting the EV3 cover without you…remember that???

Raphael Saadiq kicked you out of Lucy Pearl because your attitude jeapordized an operation he worked HARD to get off the ground…and HE didn’t even face you…you found out you got kicked out on the RADIO!! Ask yourself why Dawn…because…you’re a phony, nagging, complaining, two faced, spoiled rotten BITCH!!!!! We haven’t even STARTED talking about your deal with Dr. Dre! What happened there Dawn? He BOOTED you before you even started because he saw your mouth a mile away! You dug this grave for yourself! Now here is a warning…keep my name out of your mouth & keep your friends & family members OFF of my myspace page”

Yo, AHH Fam! A good Friday to 'yall! I ain't up on these rumors today, 'cause part of me is already steamin' a blunt and sippin' a Beck's. (shout out to Biggie! RIP)

Damn 'yall had it on and poppin' wit Guido yesterday, sorry I missed it. Y'all know I love to see bigots and fake ass gangsta get theirs.

Shit was deep in here yesterday on the NWO tip, I been up on that for a minute now, but it's a hard topic to discuss because the sources of information are never concrete. You never know who's trying to inform/disinform us on the real shit. I rely on The Lord for my enlightenment, people are always workin' on someone's agenda. Good to know the situation is gettin' into the minds of many though, if we all keep our eyes open, we can see for ourselves what's really going on, instead of being led to conclusions that have already been decided for us.

To all the soldiers overseas I got a question: During Vietnam there were hundreds of thousands of young people protesting the war, calling for the Gov't to bring the troops home. Now there are much less. I understand thet the war in Iraq is a different kind of war in the conciousness of the average citizen, but do the soldiers in the field feel slighted by their peers @ home for not putting more pressure on the powers that be for peace? Just curious. I'm no protester, and I have no live for hippies, but they really pulled out all the stops to get the message out in the '60s, not so much today though.

RUMOR: DOES ASHANTI HAVE AN EATING DISORDER????

January 18, 2008. MediaTakeOut.com is hearing a disturbing rumor that R&B superstar Ashanti may be suffering from an eating disorder. Word coming out of her camp is that the popular singer is trying a little too hard to drop pounds before the release of her album this spring.

Here's what a person close to Ashanti is telling MediaTakeOut.com:

"I was with Ashanti for the entire day and she refused to eat at all ... The only time that she ate anything was when [her assistant] forced her to eat an apple. And almost immediately after she ate it, she excused herself and went to the bathroom.

I know I shouldn't be putting her out there like this, but I'm worried about her."

Child Thrown to Death on Hawaii Freeway
By AUDREY McAVOY, AP

HONOLULU — The man in hospital scrubs threw the toddler like a doll from a pedestrian overpass to the freeway humming with traffic. The 2 1/2-year-old boy fell 30 feet to the asphalt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The horrifying incident Thursday on the highway cutting through the heart of the city shocked Honolulu residents, causing panicked parents to phone day care centers to check on their children.

Police arrested a 23-year-old man they say occasionally baby-sat the child after witnesses saw him throwing something, followed him and called authorities.

Kraig Hengst told The Honolulu Advertiser he was working in an apartment garage across the street from the overpass when he saw a man "toss the baby" at about 11:40 a.m.

"I saw the baby high in the air. I thought it was a doll at first," Hengst said. The man held the child in one arm and "tossed it into the air," he said.

One or two vehicles may have struck the boy, but it was unclear exactly what killed him, the newspaper reported.

A white sheet covered the body on the westbound lanes of the H-1 freeway, a major route through downtown that police temporarily closed. The scene was just blocks from the Capitol and the governor's mansion.

The man, who was wearing green hospital scrubs, was taken to the police station and then to a hospital, said police spokeswoman Michelle Yu. She didn't know whether he had a history of mental illness or a criminal record.

"That will be part of the investigation," Yu said.

The suspect screamed "Thank you for everything" to television crews as he was escorted to a cell block. While in a police car, he rocked back and forth in the back seat.

The Queen's Medical Center, the nearest facility with a mental health wing, declined to say whether the man was or had been a patient. But spokeswoman Rebecca Pollard said no patients were missing Thursday and none had been discharged in an unstable condition.

Johnnie Bruen told KITV that the man calmly walked away from the overpass after dropping the child. Bruen later chased the man up a hill among houses and low-rise apartment buildings near the freeway.

"He didn't say anything, he didn't scream; he looked like a normal person standing there smoking a cigarette, except that he had on a smock," Bruen said. "That's just a horrible sight that I seen down there, for any man to do that to a child."

There were no reports of a missing child, police Capt. Frank Fujii said. Officers were contacting day care centers and other area facilities to find out where the child came from.

Hedy Chun, director of a nearby preschool, Kamaaina Kids Honolulu, said 10 to 15 parents called to check on their children. All students were safe, she said, but her staff was shocked.

Gov. Linda Lingle, told of the incident shortly after it happened, called it a "real tragedy."

Interesting comments. I never thought about that. However, during the 60's there was alot more protesting in general. This generation isn't as politically involved with protest as before. So things are different. But don't get me wrong, Americans definitely want our troops to come home. Hell, some of us didn't even want to have a war in the first place. well Im from L.A and it is not cool for any hispanic/latino to say "nigga". They just don't do it. However, when I visit N.Y. I hear the puertaricans (misspelled) say it all the time. I think its more acceptable up there. In LA, the latinos are looked at differently then in NY, and I don't know why. Does anyone have any idea as to why that is????

down here it all depends on the circle you run with. basically every color uses the word.

My boys have always told me not to worry about it, because I chill with them and it's in their vocabulary, so you naturally use the same words as the people around you (think people in NY sayin son, or down south shawty) but its still a word I choose not to use regardless of who I'm around.

The problems occur when there's a white guy/girl who runs with a certain circle of people and feels comfortable using the word around them, and they're comfortable with them using the word..then they go off and slip up in front of other people and get they ass handed to 'em.

But that's only white people, basically. Spanish and Latin are given the freedom to use the word whenever they want.

At the end of the day, I stay in my lane and ain't got shit to worry about besides payin my bills and makin these good grades

@Mush

to be honest,

out here i think that there is still the standard that everybody

can't just say the N word, as a general rule.

but at the same time, of the younger generation,

Latinos do use it, Asians do use it, especially amongst each

other.

the trip about it is that hella Black folks i know refer to all

different people that way, it doesn't matter what color skin

they have.

like to a Mexican homie or an Asian homie,

and it can be a double standard or else it's not and they're not

trippin off that homie referring back to them way.

and that, of course, implies affinity because it is reciprocal at

that point.

i mean i'm not black and i get called a n**** all the time still....

what do u think of that?

Why do ppl care so much what Jay does?? I am a fan but of his music, I don't care about him as a person I don't know that nucca.

Jeny Jones had his 15 min with Ballin' he did nothing with it and now he is on VH1, Hell Rell and JR are the only ones I  like from the Set right now anyway

About the comment on no push for bringing the troops home now compared to the 60s. In the 60's they had the draft right so ppl were forced to go fight but now the soldiers are enlisting (true say a lot of them didn't expect this when they enlisted ) but maybe that's the difference.

Fat Joe using the n-word shouldn't happen.  He done used it so much and nobody said anything about it before.

Remember when Jennifer Lopez said it on that song with Ja Rule?  everyone said something about her saying it.  It's crazy cause when that song was on one of the radio stations in Cleveland, they didn't even edit it out.

Joe feels that he is Black but he's not.  I ain't about to get into a racial battle about it, but it just shouldn't be used.  I had that happen with a white girl I used to know.  she was quoting lyrics to a song and dropped the n-word and I went off on her.  She understood it later on but right away she ain't understand why I was so upset.

NFLS RANDY MOSS TRIED TO PAY ACCUSER SIX-FIGURES TO STAY SILENT!!

January 18, 2008. (AP) The woman accusing Patriots star Randy Moss of assault said Moss offered her a "six figure settlement" to end the matter, according to a statement issued by her attorney Thursday.

A temporary restraining order was issued Monday requiring the star wide receiver to stay at least 500 feet from Rachelle Washington who alleged he committed "battery causing serious injury" to her at her Florida home on Jan. 6.

"Ms. Washington has been unfairly characterized as someone simply seeking financial gain. In fact, it was Mr. Moss' representatives who first contacted our office to offer a 'six figure' settlement with hopes of not having this incident become public record," the statement from attorney David McGill read.

Moss has denied the allegation of assault, which he called "this situation of extortion," and said he was "furious" about it. He called what happened "an accident." No criminal charge has been brought.

"As the evidence will show, there is serious doubt that Mr. Moss is capable of recalling with clarity the exact details of what transpired that evening," the statement from McGill said.

Moss and Washington have been friends for 11 years. Washington alleged Moss refused to allow her to seek medical treatment.

"She simply wants him to take responsibility for what he has done. As a battery victim, she has shown great strength throughout this entire ordeal."

"I want to make something clear," Moss said. "In my whole entire life of living 30 years, I've never put my hand on one woman, physically or in an angry manner."

A hearing on whether to issue a permanent restraining order is scheduled for Jan. 28, six days before the Super Bowl.

Bush calls for $145 billion economy plan By ANDREW TAYLOR and DEB RIECHMANN, Associated Press Writer
4 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - President Bush, acknowledging the risk of recession, embraced about $145 billion worth of tax relief Friday to give the economy a "shot in the arm. "

Bush said such a growth package must also include tax incentives for business investment and quick tax relief for individuals. And he said that to be effective, an economic stimulus package would need to roughly represent 1 percent of the gross domestic product — the value of all U.S. goods and services and the best measure of the country's economic standing.

"There is a risk of a downturn," the president said in his remarks at the White House.

Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, speaking after Bush's remarks, said 1 percent of GDP would equate to $140 billion to $150 billion, which is along the lines of what private economists say should be sufficient to help give the economy a short-term boost.

Paulson said the largest part of the stimulus package would be targeted to individual taxpayers. One Republican official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Bush was hoping to target about $100 billion toward individuals and about $50 billion toward businesses.

The president and Congress are scrambling to take action as fears mount that a severe housing slump and painful credit crisis could cause people to close their wallets and businesses to put a lid on hiring, throwing the nation into its first recession since 2001.

Bush said that Congress and the administration need to settle on a temporary economic package that could be implemented quickly to "keep our economy growing and create jobs." While Bush focused on taxes, Democratic and Republican leaders in Congress have been working on a package that would also include extending and perhaps increasing unemployment benefits and a temporary increase in food stamps.

"Letting Americans keep more of their money should increase consumer spending," he said.

Bush outlined several criteria for the package to meet: It must be "big enough to make a difference in an economy as large and dynamic as ours," it must be built on "broad-based tax relief," it must take effect right away but be temporary, and it must not include any tax increases.

Specifically, he called for tax incentives for businesses, including small companies, to make new and major investments this year. "Giving them an incentive to invest now will encourage business owners to expand their operations, create new jobs and inject new energy into our economy in the process," Bush said.

He also called for tax relief for individuals — probably to come in the form of one-time rebates. But he did not say how much money Americans would get to keep or the amount of other tax incentives that could be in the package. Nor did Bush detail how the nation would pay for such a plan.

"Americans can spend this money as they see fit: to help meet their monthly bills, cover higher costs at the gas pump, pay for other basic necessities," he said.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has talked of a package totaling $100 billion or more. House Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio spoke of a bill in the range of $100 billion to $150 billion. Aides have said Bush does not believe the stimulus spending should be offset — or paid for — by any tax or spending changes elsewhere. Some deficit hawks want this but isn't expected to be part of any package.

Speaking for about seven minutes, Bush called passing a growth package "our most pressing economic priority." But he also used his announcement to defend his tax cuts, which are set to expire unless the Democratic-led Congress opts to extend them.

He acknowledged Americans' fears of an economic downturn.

"The economy's still creating jobs, though at a reduced pace," he said. "Consumer spending is still growing, but the housing market is declining. Business investment and exports are still rising, but the cost of imported oil has increased."

He said his advisers and many outside experts expect that the U.S. economy will continue to grow over the coming year, but at a slower rate than the past few years.

"Continued instability in the housing and financial markets could cause additional harm to our overall economy and put our growth and job creation in jeopardy," he said.

Bush said markets rise and fall, and there are times when swift, temporary action by the government can help ensure that market fluctuations do not undermine the economy. "This is such a moment," he said.

"We're in the midst of a challenging period," Bush said. "And I know that Americans are concerned ... But our economy has seen challenging times before. It is resilient."

Bush has gone down the tax rebate road before. Back in 2001, he added refunds of up to $300 per individual and $600 per household as a recession-fighting element of the tax cut plan that had been the centerpiece of his 2000 campaign.

Economists said a reasonable range for tax cuts in the new package might be $500 to $1,000. A White House plan is looking at rebates of up to $800 for individuals and $1,600 for married couples.

Bush first signaled his support for the approach of income tax rebates for people and tax breaks for business investment in a conference call Thursday with bipartisan congressional leaders.

Democratic congressional leaders agree that tax relief should be in the package, but are working on a broader measure that would also include aid targeted to the poor and unemployed.

White House deputy press secretary Tony Fratto said there are many ways to get quick agreement. Bush chose to lay out "principles" with few specifics to the American people now, while bipartisan negotiations with Capitol Hill are taking place privately. The White House feels Bush was out of the mix for too long, because he was away for eight days in the Mideast while Democratic leaders talked almost daily about the need to stimulate the economy — and how.

The White House scheduled Bush to talk about a stimulus package twice on Friday. After the Roosevelt Room appearance, he left for a visit at a Frederick, Md., manufacturing plant.

Question:  Do any of y'all think it's a coincidence that the federal government is going after these mega churches during the same time period a black man is running for President? I think we need to start thinking about why all of these stories are coming out rather than whether they are true or not because we'll never know the answer to that question..They can pin anything they want on any black person with too much power...Bob Johnson was the most influential black person of the last 20 years because he had the ability to reach the masses in different forums..Now instead of fighting the system he's joined them..Niggaz can't get past that old saying " if you can't beat them join them".. There's no integrity with these clowns..

You answered your own question. We are on the verge of a black man becoming President of this country. One thing we've leared over hundreds of years is this country doesn't like "Change" and will destroy, kill etc. if it happens.

F**K Bob Johnson for saying what he said on Barack Obama and F**k his apology too. And to keep it 100....Bill Clinton and the Clinton admin. really didn't do THAT much for black people.

GwagaBoy770 – They’re aren’t just going after black megachurches they are going after churches that preach a prosperity doctrine and that include white-run megachurches like Benny Hinn & Paula White Ministries. All of those bible-toting hustlers need to be checked. But you are right that people should be paying attention to other stuff that’s happening behind the scenes like the North American Union, Real ID act and everything else that’s eroding away our rights and liberties.
Check up on Alex Jones, that dude is bringing a lot of this stuff to light.

If that Mike Jones video is a sign of things to come then we’ve got a long way to go. Where are the innovative video directors that can show more than a bunch of half-dressed women shaking asses? Just like the songs, now the videos are looking exactly the same with nobody doing anything new.

Cosign mu$h, way too many people are being followers with only a few being leaders. WHY WE BELIEVE IN ONE GOD AND
REJECT THE TRINITY THEORY

It was the Trinity Doctrine that has brought much controversy and confusion to the world. When it was introduced to the Church of Alexandria in Egypt, it brought about the great Arian controversy in which thousands gave their lives rather than accept this doctrine. Keep in mind that the Bible declares that "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints." 1 Cor. 14:33. Fighting, confusion, and killing is not Gods way of converting people to believe in a Biblical doctrine. However; this is what early Trinitarian advocates did. "The day was to come when the Nicene (Trinitarian) party won out completely and then the emperors, who wished to prevent any more quarrels, decreed that one who denied the Trinity should be put to death. This law was later to be used against the Unitarians (or One God, Oneness people). At the earlier time; however, the bishops were horrified that truth (or the Trinity) should be defended by the shedding of blood." (or murder). Also, in the laws written and compiled by Emperor Justinian (called the code of Justinian) we find that the practice of murdering all non-Trinitarians continued well past A.D. 550. "The code says that any who refuse to believe in the Trinity and any who repeat baptism shall be put to death." The Church of our Fathers by R. H.. Bainton page 46, and 63. Think of it, a little helpless six year old girl could be beaten by Knights, and Clergymen and put to a brutal death simply because she was not a Trinitarian! Many modern day Trinitarians would be shocked of their Trinity Doctrine's true origin and history. The Bible says "Thou shalt not kill." EX 20:13, the spirit of the Early Trinitarian founders and forefathers is not of Christ. This site had provided the book "Foxes Book of Martyrs" for you to verify the martyrs of Christ. You will observe how the Popes of Rome persecuted any and all Oneness believers who stood fast to the One God faith:

Foxes Book of Martyrs - by John Fox (or Foxe) - 1563

The Early Church of the Bible knew nothing of a Trinity Doctrine. The very term "Trinity" or the teaching of it as a Christian doctrine did not start until 180 A.D. This is almost 150 years after the Church, under the new covenant, started in A.D. 33 on the day of Pentecost. One can search the Acts of the Apostles in the Bible which is the true History of the early Church thoroughly and not find any of the Apostles teaching the Trinity. We find some very enlightening historical statements in the Catholic Encyclopedia under "Trinity". "In Scripture there is no single term by which the Divine Persons of a Trinity are denoted together. The word TPIAS (of which the Latin word TRINITAS) is first found in Theophilus of Antioch about A.D. 180." Note the following:

"The writers of this school contend that the doctrine of the Trinity, as professed by the (CATHOLIC) Church, is not contained in the New Testament, but that it was first formulated in the Second Century and received final approbation in the Fourth, as the result of the Arian and Macedoian controversies."

The Encyclopedia Americana (1956), Vol. XXVII, Page 294L states that "Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was (and still is) strictly Unitarian. (oneness). The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately, early (Original Bible) Christian teaching regarding the nature of God. Rather, it was a deviation from this teaching."

The early original Apostolic Church of the Bible believed in only one God. The Trinity Doctrine was a latter man-made theory. It came into existence because the Latin and Greek Philosophers and Politicians rejected the Hebrew Scriptures and strict Monotheistic Doctrine of the Bible. Many Latin and Greek peoples were still influenced greatly by their old Pagan Theology of polytheism.

This is why many who defend the Trinity Theory quote the teachings and philosophies of men like Theophilus, Saint Augustine, Tertullian, Saint Cyprian, The Pope, Plato, and many more because most scholars realize that the Trinity is a Doctrine of Tradition of men and not a Truth of the Bible. (see Matt. 15:1-9, Mark 7:9, Col. 2:8-9, 2 Pet. 2:1, 1 Tim 4:1-3, 2 Tim. 4:2-4).

This is also why many uninspired (See I Pet. 1:20-21, 2 Tim. 3:15-17) writings and man-made Creeds have been written. God help anyone who will tamper with the Scriptures or write their own such as the Apocrypha, the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, the Athanasian Creed, the Didache and other many will follow men and their Creeds and not Christ and his Word.

The Encyclopedia Britannica (1976), Page 241 states that: "Biblical Basis-neither the word "Trinity" nor the explicit doctrine as such appears at any one place in the Bible; the ecclesiastical dogma is an effort to unit in one confession all the several strains of biblical description of God. Fundamental to that description in both the Old and the New is the monotheistic credo summarized in the Shema of Deut. 6:4 "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord." Neither Jesus nor his early followers intended anything they said about their new revelation to contradict that credo." The early Christians spoke to Jesus and about him in titles and put him above the merely human; they ascribed to him powers and works that transcended the natural realm; they sang to him "as God," as their Roman enemies reported (see Jesus Christ)."

Emperor Constantine helped to establish the Trinity Doctrine firmly as the only legal state doctrine of the Empire and the Catholic Church. A man that murdered his own wife and son and had many real one God Christians killed forced this doctrine on the entire Empire. This man was one of many murderers who took seat at the Council of Nicea in A.D. 325. The Trinity Doctrine's true foundation was laid at this meeting. Then it became the man-made Creed of the Catholic Church. However, the real identity of our Lord is Jesus. There is only one God who came in the human form of the name Jesus Messiah.

"God is Spirit" John 4:24, He is "the Holy One" Isa. 40:25. The only one true God has manifest himself in different ways. (No. 1)As the invisible Father-King and Creator of the universe. (No. 2) In the visible bodily form of Christ while he walked among humanity on Earth. (No. 3) as the Holy Spirit the indwelling power and presence of God in a born again believer after the ascension of Christ on the day of Pentecost. God has manifest himself in different ways; however, He is only one Divine Entity, or one supreme spirit.

There is one God who has revealed himself in a variety of ways. God who is a Holy Spirit does not co-exist with a Christ but rather He takes on flesh in Christ. The Bible asserts that God was revealed in the physical body or image of the Lord Jesus Christ. See 2 Cor. 5:19, 2 Cor. 4:4,6, Heb 1:3, Col. 1:15, 19, Col. 2:8-9, 1 Tim. 3:16, Rom. 9:5, Tit. 2:13, Eph. 4:4-6, Isa. 9:6, Isa. 7:14, Matt. 1:23, John 1:1,3,10,14, John 8:23-24, 57-59, John 10:30-33, John 12:44-45, John 14:6-9, John 20:28, Acts 7:59, Acts 20:28, Jude 1:25, Rev. 1:8, Matt. 25:31, Isa. 6:1, Rev. 4:2, Rev. 19:4, Rev. 20:11, Rev. 7:15-17, Zec. 14:9.

"The greatest revelation of God; however, comes through the Bible. Through the inspired written record, both the existence of God and nature of God are revealed in and through Jesus Christ. Jesus stated, "He that has seen me, has seen the father" (John 14:9)" - Nelsons New Illustrated Bible Dictionary, By Ronald F. Youngblood, 1995, page 501 under God.

The Holy Bible is a text that is inspired of God and a text of only one God. God moved upon men to write down His will and Word. Although the Bible is made up of some sixty-six different books covering thousands of years of history its teachings on the Godhead are consistent, that God is only one. Monotheism is the Biblical belief in only one God. This is clearly the true doctrine of the real Holy Scriptures.

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Ex. 20:3. "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD." - Deut. 6:4. "Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I even I, am the LORD: and beside me there is no Saviour." - Isa. 43:10-11. "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble"-James 2:19. "…there is none other God but one." -1 Cor. 8:4

The Trinity must be read into the Sacred Text, placed there by erogenous typology, or simply one must take the Scriptures out of context. The man-made Trinity Doctrine is not substantiated by the Holy Scriptures. This is why many modern day Trinitarian Theologians and Ministers reject the King James Version of the Scriptures and prefer the new modern liberal altered versions of the Bible. They will often tell people that the newer versions are more correct, and easier to understand. In reality these altered texts change many doctrines of the Bible, and deny the Deity of Christ. Many do not realize that some of the so called scholars who helped to write these altered texts are homosexuals, lesbians, and people who don't even believe in the virgin birth of Christ.

So many have for so long of a time taught the Trinity as fact, that many don't realize that it is a false theory. If one will study the Real Bible with an open mind they will find out for themselves that there is no Trinity or persons in the Godhead but rather that there is only one Sovereign God. You will not find the terms or words Trinity, Trinitarian, Triune, or the expression "God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost" in the Bible anywhere. Nor will one find where any one was ever baptized into the Trinitarian titles in the New Testament.

This is why the Roman Catholic Church outlawed commoners from reading the Bible. No common Person was allowed to read, study, or possess one. Any one who was caught having Bible would be put to death. There was no freedom of choice the priest of Rome would tell the people what they should believe. The leaders of the Catholic Church knew that the real Bible did not agree with their false teachings and their Trinity Theory. They also feared that they would lose their influence and power over the masses if the people found out the truth. Could it be possible that the Bible once again will be outlawed? Then will a New Age, Anti-Christ, apostate, text be forced upon the World? I am sure that if this happens that this new text will teach the Trinity Theory like other altered text. However, these writings and creeds are still not the true Word of God.

Because of these and many more historical and Biblical facts we must believe in only one true God. The opinion of man means nothing what matters is what the true Word of God has to say. His Word teaches that He alone is God and that there is none other God but Him therefore we reject the man-made theory of the Trinity. Isn't that shit beautiful yo? Its like your subconscious is light years ahead of your conscious and manifests itself in the form of peculiar thought and feelings that you just can't fathom mentally. Then you get older and some experience or general understanding suddenly hits the light switch and your like, "Oh shit, that's what this means!" There is nothing like a human being's brain. The Council of Nicea
When Constantine defeated Emperor Licinius in 323 AD he ended the persecutions against the Christian church. Shortly afterwards Christians faced a trouble from within: the Arian controversy began and threatened to divide the church. The problem began in Alexandria, it started as a debate between the bishop Alexander and the presbyter (pastor, or priest) Arius. Arius proposed that if the Father begat the Son, the latter must have had a beginning, that there was a time when he was not, and that his substance was from nothing like the rest of creation. The Council of Nicea, a gathering similar to the one described in Acts 15:4-22, condemned the beliefs of Arius and wrote the first version of the now famous creed proclaiming that the Son was "one in being with the Father" by use of the Greek word "homoousius."
How Controversial was the Arian Controversy?
There were some three hundred bishops gathered at the Council of Nicea from all around the world. Eusebius lists many of them and their country of origin in his writings. It should be remembered that many of those present had, because of the recent persecutions, suffered and had faced threat of death for their faith. These were not wishy-washy men. It might also be remarked, that they were extremely sensitive to details of doctrine. As evidence of this, the second major concern of the Council of Nicea was to address the hotly debated question of what the proper day was to celebrate the resurrection.
The bishops of the Council stopped their ears on hearing the words of Arius and immediately rejected his teaching as distant and alien from the belief of the Church. They tore to pieces a letter of Eusebius of Nicomedia containing Arius' teaching, as well as an Arian confession of faith (see the appendix on the Council of Nicea in Baker Book House's, "Eusebius' Ecclesiastical History").

Originally seventeen of those bishops gathered at the council were unwilling to sign the Creed penned by the Council, and all but three of these were convinced to sign by the end. It is thus apparent that the Arians were a distinct minority among the bishops. Initially there was some resistance to the Nicene Creed, not because of what it said but because of how it said it. Many objected to the use of the word "homoousias" in an official document because it was not used in Scripture, despite their agreement with the meaning it conveyed.

The Council interrogated Arius using Scripture, only to find that he had a new way of interpreting every verse they brought before him. Finally, they used the argument that Arius' view had to be wrong because it was new. Athanasius says, "But concerning matters of faith, they [the bishops assembled at Nicea] did not write: 'It has been decided,' but 'Thus the Catholic Church believes.' And thereupon confessed how they believed. This they did to show that their judgement was not of more recent origin, but was in fact of Apostolic times..." (Volume 1, Faith of the Early Fathers, p338). In this regard also, Athanasius askes rhetorically, "... how many fathers [in other words, the writings of the early Christians] can you cite for your phrases?" (Ibid, p325)

It must be concluded, then, that the controversy was between a great majority who held the belief that the doctrine expressed by the Nicene Creed was ancient and Apostolic, and a minority who believed that Arius' new interpretation of the faith was correct .

The Word Homoousious
The Nicene Creed introduced the word "homoousious" or "consubstantial" meaning "of one substance." This word was not invented at the Council. Eusebius writes that some of the "most learned and distinguished of the ancient bishops had made use of consubstantial in treating of the divinity of the Father and the Son" (See document E in the Appendix, Baker). We do not have the sources that Eusebius must have had regarding the use of this word. Today, the only source is Origen who used the word in what seems the orthodox way (Johannes Quastren, "Patrology," Volume 2, p78). However, this phrase of Eusebius stands as a witness to the existence of wider use.
The bishops assembled at Nicea were careful to explain how they used the word, and what it meant. This is because it had been misused by Paul of Samosta. Regarding this unorthodox usage, St. Hilary and St. Basil say that it was said to be "unfit to describe the relation between the Father and the Son" at a council that met in Antioch (Ibid, p14). Apparently Paul of Samosta applied the word in a manner that implied division of nature, as several coins are from the same metal (Baker, p21).

The Role of Constantine
The controversy greatly agitated Emperor Constantine, and he sent a letter to Arius and Alexander in an attempt to persuade them to lay aside their differences. He wrote, "This contention has not arisen respecting any important command of the law, nor has any new opinion been introduced with regard to the worship of God; but you both entertain the same sentiments, so that you may join in one communion. It is thought to be not only indecorous, but altogether unlawful, that so numerous a people of God should be governed and directed at your pleasure, while you are thus emulously contending with each other, and quarrelling about small and very trifling matters."
It has been suggested that because Constantine referred to the issue as "trifling" that he did not really understand it. Strangely, it is recorded in a letter by Eusebius of Caesarea that the Emperor suggested the key word "homoousious" that appears in the Nicene Creed. He says the Emperor explained the term as well, showing its difference from the heretical usage by Paul of Samosta. It has been speculated that the Emperor made his suggestion at the prompting of Hosius of Cordova, the Emperor's advisor and a man who was persecuted under Maximian.

Constantine did play an important role at the Council. Eusebius of Caesarea reports that he played an key part in calming, convincing, and bringing all to agreement on contested points. The account of Eusebius fairly glows in regard to the Emperor, and he is portrayed as a key figure. It is nowhere suggested, however, that he was permitted to vote with the bishops nor that he used any form of force to obtain an outcome.

It may be that the eloquence and glory of the Emperor had sway with some, however it should be remembered that he did eventually (years after the Council) support the Arian party. A few years after the Council of Nicea, Arius discovered a new way to interpret the word "homoousius" that agreed with his doctrines. He then asked to be readmitted to communion, but the Church refused. Arius then appealed to the Emperor. Emperor Constantine's favorite sister, Constantia, on her deathbed, implored Constantine to support Arius and he did so. A date was set for the forcing of the Church to readmit Arius, but while he was waiting for Constantine to arrive Arius stopped to relive himself and his bowels burst and he died. (See Arians of the 4th Century, Chapter III, Section II by John Henry Newman)

It is hard to imagine how a man who had supposedly argued with eloquence for the Nicene Creed and who supposedly formulated the key phrase and explained it would simply abandon it for a mere submission to the words and not the meaning of the Creed. It is also hard to imagine how the account of Eusebius can be reconciled to the Emperor's apparent failure to grasp the issue apparent in his letter. It is also hard to imagine how a man who had been such a humble servant of the Church at Nicea would attempt to force the Church to accept his decisions at this later date. It seems reasonable on these grounds to suppose that Eusebius of Caesarea wrote a less than accurate account designed to give credit and flattery to the emperor.

Nor was Constantine the last emperor to side with the Arians. Athanasius writes concerning this in "The Monks' History of Arian Impiety' (AD 358) saying, "When did a decision of the Church receive its authority from the emperor?" and "never did the fathers seek the consent of the emperor for them [councilar decrees of the Church], nor did the emperor busy himself in the Church." He goes on to say that the heretics banded with the emperor. (See Faith of the Early Fathers, Volume I, by William Jurgens).

The Church was willing to accept the help of an emperor, to listen to what he had to say, but not to accept the rule of an emperor in matters of faith. However one describes the role of Constantine at the Council of Nicea, it must be remembered that the Creed of Nicea expressed what the great majority of bishops at the council found to be traditional, Biblical, and orthodox of the Christian faith, a faith in which they believed so firmly that they were willing to die for it.

my brother aren't we all brothers.Science has proven that everyone came from a single being, that human being was a black women.Anyways I'll go even more deep.Slavery began in those tropical Islands.I know you seen "pirates of the caribean".I'll bet if you make a quick search of each family tree of all those rappers you will see there was a black person in there family. It's hard to understand that there is black people in PR,DR,CUBA because they don't teach that shit in school.

for example:the whole cuban olympic team is black.
THE WHOLE DR olympic team is black.
puerto rico is more mixed but it's basicly black too.

you can tell if a country has a strong black community is by watching there olympic team.

as you know colombus did bring all those diseases to kill the natives after that they brought africans to re-populate.So say Fat joe looks apparently white but he probably got an african uncle or grandfather because cuba is filled with black people. The possibility of someone to have a pure white DNA in those islands is like 1%.Think about it.It's a fucking island that got killed by the diseases then they brought black people to populate by mixing them with the people that colonized the caribeans. So they are all mixed. So they all got a lil black in them. After a while is hard to fight the truth and come to see they  struggle just like us.

They just happened to go in a different boat then us.

yea man, it is heavy. The way I see it man is there is everybody cant be lying.  There are tons of different documents, beliefs, etc.  that attack the status quo, even if it aint all true, the fact that some of it can be true means that things need to be at least reevaluated.

I know overall though, people will reject it and find their comfort zones with their current beliefs.  People really due fear what they dont understand.  And I do understand that everybody cant conceptualize and deal with change, and everybody cant handle their beliefs being raddled.  You got to have a strong mind to be able to handle huge change.

All I know is something aint right with the current belief system thats fed to us.  And I aint want to just blindly follow stuff.

@tupacfan: hang in there girl! I had to do a huge research project last semester, and is kicked my ass! As far as the Descriptive statistics and data setting, the only thing I know is that in descriptive statistics you are pretty much describing what the data shows in a specific research. Basically you are trying to reach conclusions that go beyond the data that has already  been gathered. So, I know the basic premise of it, but I don't know much beyond that. As a Social science major, I never had to take a statistics class-thank the Lord, cause I would be messed up. Most people have to have a gift to tackle statistics! I'm glad u were able to apply the rapid reading thing though...Cause when I have to read hella long chapters, I usually end up with crossed eyes, and a headache.

You pretty much broke it down right there, a lot of people are close minded and now that I got the whole movie i'm loke wow. I'm on the 9'11 myth part now, but the whole religion section really open my eyes. I am still debating on who I want to share this movie with because like you said everybody is so closed minded. I know some of the folks are not going to even make it past part 1 because it is focused on religion. I mean it does explain alot, but like you said everybody is in the own comfort zone and alot of people are afraid to step outside of that and try to explore beyond what you have been told all your life. I have always been the type of person that feels like there has to be some form of explanation to certain things, never was one to just take what someone tells me as the "gospel". Yo no matter what you believe in this is a movie i think a lot of people need to look at.

should we trust popular media now?

and if we don't trust popular media now, how should we dissect or interpret the top daily 4 or 5 headlines?

would it be wise considering history to actually trust the media?

but let's keep it goin.

let's examine what the current headlines are.

so let's think.
for a few seconds.

given these guy's track record, should we trust what they give us?

but more than that perhaps we should consider that what they are giving us could be detrimental to our well being.

if we chase the dangling carrot of the upcoming elections, perhaps it will pull our attention away from something we should really be devoting our energy to.

the great shock would be if no one voted.
if we completed rejected the system they have in place.

whenever we agree to play any of their games we have already lost.

But we got to either work something out, or you gotta tell me where I can get a lot of it at.  Cause I dont want it to just go back to my subconscious.

You know the busy life, BP1.  the phrase "I gotta get around too"

no denying that jay is nice,

but the most complex rhyme i ever heard from pac was the jawn that start off like...
"never clown around when I hang around with the underground. girls used to frown say I'm down when I come around..."

you know what I'm talkin about?

he kinda rocked a lil bit on I got my mind made up.

i never heard him really really rip after that all around the world the same song jawn, tho. I love pac more as an activist. but not as an emcee.

any other shit he got where he really rip like that?

and lord knows i heard it all before "that ain't pac style" "it ain't always about that" yadda yadda yadda.

but for my own catalogue and collection is there anything you or anybody else know of where he be rippin? you know with multiple rhymes and shit like that?

The internet wide Fat Joe hate / criticism at this point is comical
for damn near 20 years this guy has been in music using the word Nigga as a member of D.I.T.C. and Boogie Down Productions
KRS-1 himself has never spoken out against Joe using Nigga but now ILLSEED poses a question and sparks a debate ? on a site where the anti FatJoe movement is in full swing that just screams sensationalism
Now Illseed prolly didnt realize or mean for his question to come off that way but, instead of using Fat Joe's name if you wanna ask about the Puerto Rican's right to use Nigga lets just say Puerto Ricans because the same people who are saying Fat Joe can't say it seem to  have no problem with .....
Noreaga
Joell Ortiz
Remy Ma
AZ
B-Real
Chino Xl
J.R. Writer
Jim Jones
Peedi Crack

Shit just the otherday Illseed was praising Joell Ortiz and asking use to support his project why was the question not posed as he is concerned ?

Excuse the grammar I'm on my handheld"

Excellent point my dude.  All this just goes to show you how much NY niggas are ahead of every other city in the world because Black and PRs make music together, grow up together in the NY , go to school together, jam in the PJs together while everyone else in the world is on that Gangs Of NY shit when NY did that shit 1000 yrs ago. In NYC from the beginning Irish beat Italians - Italians beat Puerto Ricans/Blacks - and now no one f*&ks with Blacks and PRs in the City.  It was all done already been there done that.  THe rest of the U.S. is not going to know why NY Ricans say nigga to each other because they still light years behind us!

abdul, you know I got mad canibus shit up in the stash.

"i speak in frequencies dogs would have trouble hearin.
canibus is the lyrical version of german engineerin..."

but yo, since I'm used to hearing the dopest emcees rockin on the livest beats, I developed a little equation for myself.

20% of a dope emcee is proper beat selection.

believe it or not this is why I got love for busta rhymes.

but canibus in his long career still ain't had no name brand beats.

he should have an album produced by
pete rock
primo
large pro
diamond d
beatnuts
and 9th and madlib to show the new guys love

but he ain't done it.

that's just my lil why as to why he ain't on my list.
plus -- this is a low blow. kinda exposin --  but he be changin his voice up to force rhymes.

member second round knockout?

"you walk around showin off your body cuz it sells
plus to avoid the fact that you aint got skills"

yo, when you listen to the song, he flip his voice to make skills sound like scales to force that shit to rhyme with sells.

that's corny.
he do that shit too much.

and whenever anybody ready, we can go into advanced rhyming analysis as done by Method Man, the '95 special ed, lord jamaar and yeshua from the brooklyn wee bee foolish crew.

================================

boss up, yo, that is how I'm deciding to play.
by not playing at all.
===============================
hp, I think I might hafta send you some books.
i love buying books, writing inscriptions in the inside and giving them away.

I bought my lil brother the last three books of the stephen king dark tower series. I still haven't read them myself.
i stopped at wizard and glass.

but yo, boom, you got ya non fiction shit right? then you have these books that are novels and they pose interesting questions.

now, I know you do your non-fiction thing strong, so two novels that I would say get immediately are illusions by richard bach and childhoods end by aurthur clarke.

illusions from the 70s and it's ideas predate The Secret and Aurthur clarkes piece is from 1953.

there are many other novels that are entertianing and mindbending, but those are the first two.

however, if you still stimulated from zeitgeist, then i would honestly recommend, angels and demons and the davici code back to back.

and you might wanna do it before dan brown drops his latest about the masons in d.c.

when that comes out people are gonna be all over it.
and I ont want you to seem like you are jumping on the bandwagon.
=======================

fizz, they get on my nerves with that shit.
that's like the third az album that's cd only.

i like my shit on vinyl.

lemme check ebay, tho and see if the memphis sessions is on vinyl there.

if they ont got it then imma go head and grab that shit along with all the other cds I been holdin out on. like the aziatic, that percee p jawn. i want another copy of it was written. and some of the sean price albums.

but the memphis session is all new rhymes on al green samples?

i heard about that last year but i though it was like a mixtape.

i ont be feelin all that mixtape shit.
muvafuckas hollerin, doin drops durin the music.

back in the day it was the shit.
but now.

i ont know, I hate to say the market is oversaturated with them shit. cuz I think that's an elitist way of thinking.

i ont know. I can't really explain it.

I might i need some pizza.

fizz, I collect records. I like havin them shits on vinyl.

this is kinda crazy but I'm a hip hop crackhead.

and when shit took a turn for the worse and there was no hip hop to spend my money on, I started buying all my shit all over again on vinyl.

pretty excessive right?

then after like 98, 99 hip hop still wasn't gettin right. so then I started "diggin in the crates". I started buying all the original rekkids that all the songs came from.

hittin A1 rekkids and the sound library.

after that I started diggin for myself.
and that shit is a major drug addiction.

it's so much great music out there from 66-74 that it's crazy.
i found so many fuckin breaks that aint been used yet.

so anyway I kinda prefer vinyl to cd. I can see what's happenin when I play the rekkid.

when I put that shit in a cd I can't see it. it's like some weird black magik. or something. the shit ain't good magik whatever it is.

i ont know how that shit work.

but the twist is once I came out here like almost 2 years ago, the professional people I know asked me to bring some of my rekkids to their cribs to do a party.

yo.

that was the first time I ever did that shit in my life.

I been listenin to music since forever, but I had never really DJed, cuing up rekkids or none of that shit.

it was so easy.

i had imagined myself doin it and next thing I know there I was.
all on the strenf of collectin rekkids.

now, i get calls to DJ private functions in the hills over here.
they throw all kinds of unnecessary dough at you but it's nothin compared to the feeling of throwin on something by brass construction and seeing people go wild.

or some thing by kraftwerk.

specially cuz I be like "this is my shit in the house. yall recognize this shit too?"

you know what another thing is?

the death of the DJ is approaching cuz if anybody been out lately you'll see these sucka DJs with a laptop.

that's called serrato.

soon that shit is gonna auto generate playlists and it won't be no need to have a live person.

maybe I shouldn't call them sucka DJs cuz a lotta my old heads been doing this shit for about as long as I been alive and they be like "shit my back hurt from carrying all that shit for all them years".

so no offense to the vets. but y'all gotta see what's comin down the pike right?

guess who else like serrato? grandmaster flash.

that shit broke my lil heart

=================

yo, i don't know about cloverfield as far as the monster. But i'm interested in the visual telling of a story from the vantage point of multiple home cameras.

i'm very interested to see how that is pulled off.

Okay, now that you've put out those Nas songs and i've heard them all and everyone of his cd's I got one more question for you..Which one of those songs is he not talking about drinking liquor, smoking blunts, popping pistols or smashing chicks? Same concepts for damn near every song..The hooks might change but he just throws out random shit..The difference between Nas and Jay is Jay paints his pictures clearer..Nas will give you lil bits and pieces of real deep shit while incorporating the same damn concepts..I don't care if it was a gospel rap song he still be talking about smashing chicks, pouring out liquor and popping pistols..I don't think he's as creative as some of y'all..Nas could never make a concept album because he can't stay on topic for more than 8 bars..Go back and listen to all them songs and point out, which ones he do...

http://www.streetgangs.com/injunctions/

'gang' injunction purportedly targeting rolling 40's in this area, will impose curfew, prohibit public association & profile style/appearance...

a 'gang' database developed where you can be named based on tats, affiliataions, relations, record,,,  once on the list normal activities now become criminalized & minor criminal offenses become magnified in sentencing.  it's next to impossible to remove yr name once on the list, no matter what direction yr life is in or for how long.

the only way for p/d to check you against the list is to roll down on you ss style.  city atty rep told me there are '800-1000' active gang members in the claimed area.  he sd if i'm not on the list i got 'nothin to worry about'.  uh huh.

to me its about real estate & power.  this is right below usc across from downtown.  these cats tired of payin $750k for a crib in lancaster or san gabriel drivin 1.5 hrs each way to work @ $3.50/gallon.  when they cd clear out the 'riffraff' & build townhouses 10 min from city hall.  you see how they aired out skid row...  plus the usual tighten the screws on poor folk when the economy go sour enhanced w/ homeland security funding & resources.  when the dollar collapses they need to have support structure in place for when the natl guard get posted on the corners like nawlins.

they aint have no typa community discussion or announcement, only a little release in the l.a. times.  most folk in the dark how they want it...

plus they jes had a big raid on the black riders liberation party on crenshaw.  put that w/ the sf8 & you can read they navigation...

I really don't understand why people feel Nas is so on point and teaching people.

In "These are our heroes" he was so off point on The Jefferson's not winning a grammy and so many other lyrics it's a shame.

On Blunt Ashes He said "Oozie Davis" instead of "Ossie Davis"

If I ruled the world "..all the prisoners in Attica send them to Africa" Negro WTF??? Not everybody in jail is "Mumia" fool. Some of them are killers and rapist don't send them to Africa.

Don't get me wrong Nas is a dope writer, but saying he's bringing knowledge to the streets is silly.

Nas is the type of dude who reads the first 2 chapters of a book and then starts speaking on the book. Some people who don't read will be like "Ohhh, that's dope" and believe whatever he says, but people who read the book will be like "N***a you only read the first 2 chapters and the back of the book"

Tupac...spit knowledge
Rakim..knowledge
Mos Def, Talib, Common...knowledge.
Books from the Coup, Chuck D and many others spit knowledge and real s**t.

Nas spit cliffnote s**t. He spit it dope..but it wasn't "knowledge".

Okay, now that you've put out those Nas songs and i've heard them all and everyone of his cd's I got one more question for you..Which one of those songs is he not talking about drinking liquor, smoking blunts, popping pistols or smashing chicks? Same concepts for damn near every song..The hooks might change but he just throws out random shit..The difference between Nas and Jay is Jay paints his pictures clearer..Nas will give you lil bits and pieces of real deep shit while incorporating the same damn concepts..I don't care if it was a gospel rap song he still be talking about smashing chicks, pouring out liquor and popping pistols..I don't think he's as creative as some of y'all..Nas could never make a concept album because he can't stay on topic for more than 8 bars..Go back and listen to all them songs and point out, which ones he do"

BECAUSE NAS DOESN'T READ THE WHOLE BOOK!! He's that dude who's on the block who smokes madd weed and talks out the side of his neck. Instead of dropping out in the 8th grade like the other crew members..he dropped out in the 9th grade.

Don't be bamboozled by Nas man. Great rapper...but not a great poet. Take it from a spoken word  poet...snatch the beat away from the song and listen to the accapella...it won't make sense.

Ok...

are you saying that you listened to every Nas album and you cant find an album where he's talking about a subject matter other than hustling?

I don't think you were paying attention to them.

I'm not going to break down every album but I have them all and he got songs talking about tons of topics

"One Mic"...comes to mind
"Where are they now"
"I can" (that was all Black History)
"No one else in the Room" (classic)
"Bridging the gap"
"me & You" (song dedicated to his seed)

I'm just saying, Nas got Maaaaaaad tracks that go in depth with various issues.

And He is from tha hood so of course he gon talk about guns and hustling

Shiiieeet Tupac talked about that shit in most of his songs.

And while you bullshittin Tupacs greatest hits was his "gangsta shit"

And like Nas, Tupac wasn't no Gangsta.

About your Tupac question.... as far as him rippin, I wouldn't say he was "rippin" on that Same Song joint. It was just a unique flow at the time, and it was his intro to the game. That breath of fresh air that people needed.

The thing about Pac that makes him one of the best that ever did it was the way he spoke to a lot of peoples heart! It aint many people that can do that. He spit that shit that people, real street people, people who ever struggled in life, anybody associated with the grind, etc... could really grasp and put it in a way that it meant something and made you realize that he understood what you going through.

Not only that, but he spit real shit that happened in the hood and put it in a way that was universally accepted. From Brenda's Got a Baby, to HellRazor to a few other joints where he touched on some stories that didn't make the main stream news.

Overall I think it's his delivery of the message he was giving. If you get passed all the beef he had, and all that drama, and get to the actual music, he's in my top 5 just on the fact that he spit shit that I personally really relate to. But he spit it in a way that was raw and not real preachy.

the funny thing is, everything they say about how people are to scared to believe the truth is so real. I mean I'm right here where the pentagon is and how they broke down the skills it would take to actually fly a plane into the pentagon like that shit is real. After I seen that part i'm like Yo I drive by that joint everyday for work and it is a lot of stuff that somebody would have to navigate pass in order to hit that building and why was there no debris and no pictures or anything. I mean I think sometimes the people dont want to believe the hard core truth, People wonder why chains are not broken from one generation to the next, we pass our beliefs and fears on to the generation behind us...

1 of 2 things either happened.

they either aided these guys in doing it

or

they turned a blind eye to it

Now many might ask, why.  why would our precious government do that to us?

Ask yourself, if you would have supported there global conquest (aka war campaigns) any other way.

They knew that the only way they were going to get the people behind them is if the people felt threatened.

you feel threatened right?

its ok to torture and kill brown people (aka arabs) these days. because of 9/11.

it was ok to torture and kill the black people during slave times because they threatened freedom (freedom for slaves=economic hardship for the masters).

it was once ok to torture and kill asians when they thought they were trying to take the country

it will eventually be ok to torture and kill mexicans because mexicans "threaten" to take the country/country back

if Hillary is president, it will be ok to torture and kill women, because they threaten gender roles

the only group it isnt ok to torture and kill is...

thats right...

you guessed it.

518p-

First of all no offense but it's "Ossie Davis" not "Ozzie Smith" and I'm surprised Nas didn't say "Ozzie Smith"

2nd I believe Nas does speak to the dudes from the streets but he's speaking confusion. If people on the streets are already on a different path and some dude with little knowledge talks to them it's worse than a dumb ass dude.

Plus Nas aint from the streets.

And how do you know Nas didn't mean "send them all to Africa"? Do you know the man. Did he tell you his lyrics? If he messed up on "These are our heroes" and "Ossie Davis" how do you know?

I'm not trying to beef or be a smart ass I'm just being 100 with you.

Don't fall for a dude with C- knowledge with a A+ flow. That's nothing but George Bush s**t.

Once again Nas is nice with the flow....but he's not kicking anything productive "I can" is something we all learned in Black History calls the 1st week.

One.

just to jump into the rap convo a lil bit.

I think the makings of a real good emcee, is one that shows you he can really do it all.

one that can see what "fad" sty;e is in with the generations, dibble and dabble in it, then step out when they feel like it.

I put people like Nas and Tupac in that category.

I wouldnt say  Jay and Biggie.

Im bias tho, I was always more of "revolutionary" rather than a "get money", "big pimpin" type dude.

Dont get me wrong, I feel like Jay and Big had the same potential as Nas and Pac, but they were more willing to stick to the code and rap about all the stuff they thought the people wanted to hear.

Nas and Pac stepped out of the "norms" and did it all.

You know they both could do the club shit with no problem, but they new that giving the people that all the time wasnt going to help them.

So I might go as far to say that, Nas and Pac had more love for the people and less love for the money.

Jay and Big, loved they people, but we know the both of their primary focus.

Think about it people, would Jay take the same risks Nas would take with music.

Cant imagine Jay doing a song for the kids like "I know I can"

Hard Knock life dont count either niggas.

Hey everybody....
Last night I went to the movies and saw "The Great Debaters". It was DEEPLY moving. The ONLY other movie that was this thought provoking to me was "Blood Diamonds."
After seeing it, I had to speak out... so here goes....

I can tell you all, for sure, that none of my family lived in the south at the time the events in this movie happened (I could give you specifics if it really mattered, but I guess it doesn't.), so none of my family engaged in the activities that the white people in the movie are depicted as doing. However, such events certainly DID happen countless times. And I KNOW that NOTHING can take back what happened.... but still, as a white American, I feel that I NEED to apologize for what my race did, in hopes that SOMEONE will understand how utterly APPALLED I am by these acts, so PLEASE know that I am ETERNALLY SORRY for everything that all African Americans, and ALL non-whites, for that matter, have EVER been through! I KNOW that probably doesn't mean anything to any of you, and that I cannot change the past, but I am ETERNALLY sorry for EVERYTHING.

DENZEL WASHINGTON: I THREATENED MY DAUGHTER'S BOYFRIEND

January 19, 2008. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that actor Denzel Washington has terrorized his 20-year-old daughter's boyfriend. Denzel, a father of four is a proud to be a protective father. In a recent interview, he talked openly about his daughter Katia - who's attending Yale University - first love.

Here's what the Oscar winning actor was quoted as saying:

My oldest girl has got a boyfriend, who is at the school where she is. He is obviously very bright, but has too many earrings for my liking. I told him, 'I'm not gonna be that friendly with you.' I put my oldest boy on him - to put the fear of God into him.

I said, 'Kick him around a bit. Tenderize him. I'll finish him off.'

But apparently Denzel didn't feel the need to do that same for his sons. He was quoted as saying, "It is a double standard because, with my boys, I'm like, 'That's my boy.'"

January 19, 2008. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Ray J is talking real reckless about his ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian. In a recent interview, Ray was asked what he though about Reggie Bush dating Kim. Here's his unedited response:

That’s a good move for Kim. But Reggie is just looking to mess up his career. He could’ve gotten with any other chick in the biz…but not Kim. That’s not a good look!

Dang that's out of pocket .... Can't say we disagree with him though....

@everybody

I'm an old head too...34 years old...first rap concert was Big Daddy Kane with JVC Force (remember 'Strong Island'?) as the opening act.

Favourite emcees of all time (no ranking because different emcees from different eras are hard to compare):

-KRS ONE
-Rakim
-Big Daddy Kane
-Chuck D. (Public Enemy, for you younguns)
-Kool G. Rap
-LL Cool J (in his day, this cat destroyed careers)
-Ice Cube
-Scarface
-Chip Fu (dude had a crazy original flow...don't front)
-Biggie Smalls
-Nas
-Canibus
-Jay Z
-Ras Kass ('Nature of the Threat'...enough said)
-Eminem (forget the MTV songs...this dude can spit)
-Crooked I (check out his weekly freestyles...fire)
-Lupe Fiasco (though I don't think he is a good 'song' writer)

I'm sure I'll think of some more after I hit the 'submit' button.  I didn't put Tupac on this list because I honestly think he was overated as an emcee.  I will probably get venom spit at me for that comment but it is what it is.

i watched Tito for hella long,

i probably liked him a touch more than Jones.

he got/had power, heart.

but Roy Jones is/was a baaaaad man.

quick as can be, just a superb boxer over all.

i question his power tho.

Fuck Rodney King Lyrics

Fuck Rodney King in his ass
When I see tha mothafucka I'ma blast
Boom in his head, boom, boom in his back just like that
Cause I'm tired of you good little niggas
Saying increase the peace and let the violence cease
When the black man built this country
But can't get his for the prejudiced honky
Rodney King, god damn sell-out
On TV crying for a cop
The same mothafuckas who beat the hell outcha
Now I wish they would've shotcha
Cause this shit is deeper than Vietnam
And ain't no room for the Uncle Tom
Let the white man dress you up and mess you up
I wouldn't be suprised if he sexed you up
Cause you look like a gay
Letting them white folks tell you what to say
But I'm glad that niggas stayed out of check
Cause that's the only thing rednecks respect
We don't want your welfare checks
Nigga need a real job to buy a rolex
And until we get it, we gonna keep throwing them things
Fuck Rodney King!

Fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em
Fuck that nigga!
Fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em

Now the Negro National Anthem:
"We shall overcome...we shall overcome..."

Fuck all that singing
I'ma be too busy swinging
That's the problem with the black folks
Always wanna bust a note
And hold hands and form rallies
And down niggas for fighting back in Cali
I'm down with the niggas who's nexting
Fuck all that god damn protesting
So don't try to pull it
5th Ward niggas fight bullets with bullets
Right between the eyes
So you can keep your mothafucking Noble Peace Prize
I said fuck Rodney King and I mean it
And any mothafucka out there who resent it
Cause didn't nobody set a fire for Willie D
When the laws beat the fuck out of me
Fuck Rodney King!

Fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em
Fuck that nigga!

Fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em, fuck'em
Fuck that nigga!

Fuck that mothafucking sell-out hoe
They need to beat his ass some mo'
Fool talking about stop the violence
When niggas can't even shit in silence
I can't ride up the street with my homies without 5-0 all on me
Riding my tailgate and running my god damn license plate
Sweating Willie D since I'm a minority
They fuck with me, I still got a lot of grudges
It's high time that we take out some judges
And some congressmen and senators who cheat us
And all of these so called black leaders
Like Craig Washington, nigga sound dense
Trying to play both sides of the fence
Brown nosing cause he was chosen
By the whites to make niggas act right
You can't lead the black struggle
And be friends with the enemy, mothafucka
While you trying to keep your fucking job
Black folks getting robbed
But when it's time for the revolution
I'ma click, click, click, fuck this rap shit
Cause money ain't shit but a grief
If you ain't got no peace
Gotta come on with it, get down for my little Willies
So they con come up strong and live long

I know they both didn't want to get KO'd

But FELIX..DIG THIS!

It could be the last round of the last fight of your career. You KNOW you NEED the KO to win and you ain't tryin? You're straight with the L? I know you scared of gettin KO'd yourself but if you dont put yourself out there, then you're takin the L anyways. You know Roy knows he's gonna win if you go out and just box for another round. That shit gotta be a brawl in rd 12, if you're Felix. Otherwise, it looks like dont give a fuck if you win or lose.

whaddup tho y'all?

well my take on the fight is basically just what i said b4.

Roy Jones was more skilled,

they were both hestitant and cautious cause neither wanted to

get knocked out.

Trinidad seemed to still contain some power, but he wasn't

consistent with it.

he wasn't going to the head enough, he just kept on at the

body.

never got an opportunity to test out that chin of Jones.

but Roy outboxed Tito.

and after those 2 knockdowns, Tito wasn't takin no risks.

but i started wishin Tito was gonna come back when Jones

start gettin all over-confident.

cause it wasn't like he was fighting a perfect fight,

he did seem to find his old groove and rhythm tho, at least

temporarily from time to time.

but was that fool really calling out Calzaghe?????????

SMH

just like Mayweather supposed to be fighting De La Hoya.

don't nobody wanna see that shit....

what happened to Cotto?

man whatever.

Yeah that's true Slim.

Illseed you on point too. I still think after getting knocked out a couple times in a row it made Roy scared... ok not scared, how about more cautious? But Roy fought a smart fight. You could tell in between rounds when he was in the corner he was asking questions about how Tito was responding in certain situations. So he knows what he's doing.

Cotto aint ready for Mayweather! LOL I don't know if anybody is ready for Mayweather. That would be embarassing for Cotto! At this point I don't see anybody worth watching fight Mayweather. Cotto and Paul Williams would be interesting though!

If it was any other referee in America Tito would've been disqualified by the 6th round with all them low blows..He consistently hit Roy with hip shots not body shots and most of his power shots didn't get through..I said this the night of the fight and i'll say it again, Tito didn't beat Oscar in their first fight...They gave him the belt because he sure as hell didn't earn it..The only impressive win I give Tito is the Vargas fight..Everything think Roy was past his prime when he lost but just like he said he had to gain 30 pounds of muscles and lose it within about a year..I got a pretty high metabolism like Roy so I know how hard that much muscle is to gain but to lose it in a short period would drain anyone...I still think he might've loss to Tarver because of his reach advantage..It's like Vernon Forrest and Shane Mosley..Some people just have others number but then Shane beat Oscar and he beat the shit out of Vernon..

Yea I feel you I dont think Cotto is ready for mayweather, if people really followed cotto career they would remember that when he was coming up he got rocked by two not so skilled fighters although he came back and won those fights...to me I think his chin is not what people think...chop chop from DC almost knocked him out and it took some bs referees stopping that fight to early to save his ass...I think a fight with paul williams might be good because he is going to smother floyd with punches. I mean to be honest I dont think its nobody out there that can beat Floyd he is just to talented. I mean if he fought cotto or williams I'm pretty sure that they will have a gameplan ready for either one of those fighters. I think if he fought cotto it would be boring cause i see floyd running and just winning on points...if he fought Paul williams he woudnt have no choice but to fight cause that dude long and gone throw a gang of punches.

@Oye Bang!

ur right,

Cotto ain't ready 4 Mayweather.

and i also agree that it probably ain't nobody ready for

Mayweather.

real talk.

i never thought too much of Cotto anyway, he's nothing to call

home about.

i'm just sayin after the Hatton fight Mayweather said he's takin

time off, when asked if he would fight Cotto next.

now he's gonna fight fuckin De La Hoya?????

don't nobody i came across yet wanna see that shit.

De La Hoya is really gonna get his ass embarrassed.

that's the only reason i brought that up.

i'd just prefer to see some new blood and see Cotto's attempt

at steppin it up, makin the effort.

Gatti is gone now, so i could care less about the majority of

these cats.

only ones i'm riding for these days is Winky Wright and Andre

Ward.

but i like to watch for the sake of watchin.

and did y'all trip how Roy Jones had said he'd never get

promoted by Don King and then last night they sho was ridin

together.

SMH

@GawgaBwoy

i couldn't agree more,

Tito stayed with the low blows all night,

he did.

he rarely made attempts to hit at the head,

and when he did he wasn't gettin thru.

in fact, ur right few of his power punches even got thru.

but that is not to say that he couldn't have done some damage

had he connected.

Jones' chin is weak at this point imo,

but shoulda, woulda, coulda....

i still don't believe Jones will ever be what he used to be.

altho he might have some remnants of it here and there.

i think he knows his chin is weak too, which is why he took

great care to keep his face well-covered.

i also think that his confidence is shot to all hell since he took

those two knock-outs.

that is one of the greatest challenges a boxer has,

cause it is a mental game almost as much as it is physical.

and once their minds get fucked up, it's a wrap.

i don't think Jones is making any great comebacks,

tho it might be nice if he did.

i always like him.

but i think he just got a win in this situation cause he had more

skill and greater speed than Tito.

plus he was fightin at his normal weight last night, which should

have been rather comfortable for him.

did u notice how much Tito looked to have gained compared to

his normal fighting weight?

he looked way heavier than usual,

and the power seemed to only come in spurts because of it.

that's how i see the whole thing.

last thing,

i also think that's true,

sometimes u just come across a cat who has ur number,

and it don't matter who else u've beat or who they've gotten

beat by.

it just is what it is.

and i think ur examples of Tarver, Mosely, Forrest reflect that

perfectly.

EXCLUSIVE!! R&B SINGER USHER'S FATHER DIES SUDDENLY!!!

January 20, 2008. You won't hear this report anywhere else in the world. MediaTakeOut.com is sad to report to you that Usher's biological father, Usher Raymond III died of unspecified causes on Friday at an Atlanta hospital.

MediaTakeOut.com exclusively spoke with a person close to the Raymond Family who tells us that Usher, his wife Tameka and mother Jonetta Patton were all by Usher Sr.'s side when he passed.

Usher's parents split when he was only a baby. And Usher Sr. battled a crack-cocaine addiction for most of his life. But throughout all the difficulties, Usher and his father maintained a solid relationship.

MediaTakeOut.com offers its sincere condolences to the entire Raymond family

You right I think it'll be a boring fight too, just like Calzaghe and Lacy! Mayther will simply make a good fighter look pathetic!

BFG
You on point with yours! I don't think Mayweather wants to fight Cotto cuz the money won't be there. Cotto needs to put on an impressive fight against somebody worthwhile, then Money might be willing.
