(AllHipHop News) Miami, Florida record mogul Ted Lucas and his famed record label Slip-n-Slide Records will sponsor a free turkey basket giveaway with Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara J. Lewis. Ted Lucas and Commissioner Lewis will distribute over 650 turkeys to families in District 1 at the Landmark Auditorium, located at 20000 NW 47th Avenue. Additionally, Commissioner Jordan and Ted Lucas will go door-to-door to hand deliver turkeys to select households in Commissioner Jordan’s district. Other sponsors of the event include Landmark Aviation, Falcon Trust Air, Contractors Resources, World Waste Recycling, Whole Foods, Juwan Howard Foundation, 1000 Black Men and MCM. The free event takes place on November 22nd, from 10:30AM – 3:30PM.A man has been arrested in the shooting death of Internet personality Messy Mya. News of Messy Mya’s death spread virally through the Internet, when witnesses to the comedian’s murder posted gory pictures of Messy Mya facedown on the ground, bleeding from a gunshot wound. Police arrested Jason Baptiste Hamilton today (November 21st), after he visited a local hospital with his mother, to receive treatment for a bi-polar disorder. Someone at the hospital recognized Hamilton, who was named as a suspect in Messy Mya’s shooting death the day before, on Saturday (November 20th). Messy Mya was laid to rest on Saturday, with hundreds of mourners present. Detroit native Eminem scooped up two American Music Awards tonight (November 21st) during the three-hour event at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Eminem took home two awards, one for Favorite Male Artist and the other for his hit album Recovery. Justin Bieber, 16, has been the big winner thus far, taking home three awards for Favorite Male Pop Artist, Breakthrough Artist and Favorite Pop Album. “I don’t know this is possible because I’ve been saying Eminem since I was, you know, 3, and Usher is my mentor.
