Fetty Wap’s Album Expected To Open At #1; Drake & Future’s Sales Numbers Drop

RAP RELEASES ARE LOOKING TO STILL DOMINATE THE ‘BILLBOARD 200’

(AllHipHop News) Fetty Wap is set to add a #1 album to his list of accomplishments this year. Billboard reports the New Jersey representative is looking to push around 110,000 equivalent album units of his self-titled LP. That should be enough to land Fetty in the pole position on the Billboard 200 album chart.

According to HitsDailyDouble, Fetty Wap only sold close to 60,000 pure albums. The rest of the 110,000 units came from track equivalent album and streaming equivalent album totals.

Last week’s top project came from Drake and Future. The duo’s What A Time To Be Alive is looking to fall to #2 on the album chart. The joint effort opened with 375,000 units (334,000 pure album sales).

The equivalent album units estimates for WATTBA have not been released yet, but the traditional album sales for the mixtape are nearing 60,000 copies. That would be an 80% drop in sales in one week.
