(AllHipHop News) Both N.W.A and Janet Jackson have experienced major cultural comebacks in 2015. The California rap group was the subject of the most successful music biopic in history, and the R&B/Pop queen is on pace to score her first number one album in seven years.
Those accomplishments may be enough to get the two acts into the coveted Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The nominees for the 2016 inductees have been announced with Janet and N.W.A among the 15 candidates vying for a spot in the Cleveland museum.
Artists, industry insiders, and fans get to vote on the final selections. Voting for the ’16 Hall of Fame class closes on December 9. The artists enshrined in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will be announced later that month and inducted in April. Supporters can vote here.
