(AllHipHop News) New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne will now be taking his musical talents to the sports world, by recording the track “No Mercy,” as the theme song for ESPN commentator Skip Bayless’s new show Skip and Shannon: Undisputed.
The Hip-Hop star is also slated to make a guest appearance on the new television show, which features Bayless in tandem with NFL legend and hall of famer Shannon Sharpe.
Lil Wayne has developed quite a relationship with Bayless.
The rapper has made frequent appearances on ESPN shows with the commentator in the past.
“Lil Wayne has been a friend and frequent guest on my show and I’ve told him how honored I am to have such a legend create such a great song for our new show Undisputed on FS1,” said Bayless when speaking about the new show’s theme.
Skip and Shannon: Undisputed will debut on Fox Sports 1 September 6 at 10:00 a.m. Show theme song “No Mercy” is expected to be released on iTunes next month.
