(AllHipHop News) Rapper Soulja Boy must be taking a break from social media, because it appears he has deleted his Instagram account.
This follows an apology the rapper just issued, for his role in an escalating feud with R&B singer Chris Brown.
The pair have been going back-and-forth, trading insults and threatening each other on social media, over Chris’ ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, who had nothing to do with either of the rappers, or their issues.
That didn’t stop Soulja from taking to the streets of Compton, claiming his Piru gang membership, while hurling insults at Chris Brown, who did the same thing in return on his Instagram account over the past several days.
Now, Soulja Boy has issued what he claims is his final official apology via his Twitter page which is still active.
“This video right here is for Team Soulja and all of my fans. I just want to send an apology. Over the past couple of months, I’ve been acting out, I been wildin’ out and at the end of the day it’s not about who starts the beef and it’s about who ends them,” Soulja Boy said in a video statement.
Soulja said that his mother recently fell ill and is in the hospital.
The news has resulted in the rapper having an epiphany about his actions over the past several months, which included feuds with Lil Yachty, Shia LaBeouf, and Quavo from Migos.
Soulja was even arrested in December (2016), after someone reported him for making threats on social media.
“The doctors told me everything should be all right, she should be good but no amount of money, no amount of cars, no amount of fame, will make me be alright you know, knowing that my mom’s or anything happening to mama.”
I love my mother, she always been there since I’ve been born I got her name tatted on my face and I know she’s not proud of my actions and what I’ve been doing recently. I want to make music with Chris Brown, Yachty, Quavo, everybody. So to all the media, to all the blogs to all my homies from the hood who feel like I’ve been with some hot boy s##t, I apologize, I’m back to the music. Big Soulja.
