THE LONG BEACH RAPPER GOT TO SHARE THE STAGE WITH ONE OF HIS INSPIRATIONS

(AllHipHop News) Long Beach, California rapper Vince Staples spent years confessing his appreciation for singer/reality TV star Ray J.

Vince declared on Hot 97, “Ray J is probably top 5 Hip Hop West Coast of all time.”

The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood cast member returned the love during a 2016 interview with AllHipHop.com.

“He was keeping it real though. I appreciate that. I don’t like to boast about what I do, but he knows what’s going on,” said Ray. “A lot of people on the West Coast know, because they know my real life and the real business side of it. Everybody else around the globe and in the other states don’t really know the situations that go on on the day-to-day business side out here on the West Coast. I respect that from him and much love to him.”

Last night, Staples got his chance to share a stage with Ray J on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The Big Fish Theory album creator also teamed up with Tonight Show house band The Roots as well as Damon Albarn and Kilo Kish for the performance of “Love Can Be…”
