(AllHipHop News) The jury in James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond and Rodney Johnson’s trial could not agree on a verdict resulting in a mistrial. Rosemond and Johnson were charged with murder and conspiracy for allegedly taking part in a plot to kill Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher.

The prosecution argued Rosemond paid for Fletcher to be murdered in 2009 as part of an ongoing street war between Henchman and 50 Cent’s G-Unit. Several former Rosemond associates testified against him in court, but his lawyer questioned the credibility of the witnesses on cross-examination.
Defense attorney Bruce J. Maffeo pointed out the prosecution’s key witnesses were all set to receive reduced sentences for their own previous convictions as a result of their testimonies in the case.
Rosemond is still serving a life sentence for unrelated drug trafficking and weapons possession convictions in 2013. Johnson was convicted earlier this week for conspiracy to distribute narcotics, weapons possession related to drug trafficking, and felony firearm possession.
