(AllHipHop News) Rising rap star Megan Thee Stallion is taking her love for horror movies to the next level by penning her own flick.
In a new 24 Hours With… video for Vogue magazine, the “Hot Girl Summer” hitmaker revealed the unlikely career move when asked about the script the star is currently working on.
“Oh yes, it’s for a horror film,” she said. “Everyone knows I f##king love horror movies.”
When asked about her favorite scary films, the 24-year-old replied: “I’m not even gonna lie to you, I think it’s ‘Evil Dead.'”
“I like movies that make you semi fall in love with the villain so you have sympathy for him. You’re not gonna want the villain to die, maybe he won’t die. ‘Cause I feel like every good story, you can’t just necessarily kill off the villain,” the musician explained. “That’s why the Batman never killed Joker. How the f**k would you have Batman with no Joker?”
However, she suggested “The Human Centipede” franchise, which sees a surgeon kidnap a group of people and join them surgically, mouth to a###, forming a ‘human centipede,’ was even too much for her, as she was sent into a screaming fit when asked about the film.
“You know what, but, I appreciate whoever made that movie. We needed that for the culture,” she went on to admit.
(AllHipHop News) A judge has refused to dismiss a lawsuit filed against actor Jussie Smollett for allegedly making false claims he was the victim of a racist and homophobic attack.
U.S. District Judge Virginia Kendall’s ruling allows Chicago city officials to proceed with their bid to seek to recoup the $130,000 spent investigating Smollett’s story.
The “Empire” star was indicted on 16 counts after it was alleged he had staged the hate attack on himself to drum up publicity, and he was later charged with disorderly conduct and filing a false police report.

(AllHipHop News) Will Smith and Dame Helen Mirren will lead 50,000 people pitching their tents in 50 cities for a worldwide event in December aimed at raising funds to fight homelessness.
The World’s Big Sleep Out, organized by Josh Littlejohn and his fellow bosses at Scottish charity organization Social Bite, will take place in London and New York, as well as Dublin, Ireland, New Delhi, India, Santiago, Chile and Hong Kong.
Executives hope the project will raise $50 million to help house those living on the streets, and they officially launched the initiative on Tuesday (October 22nd) with a one-minute video posted on the program’s social media channels.
The short film opens with Will Smith saying, “Think for a minute about what home means to you. For me home means conversation. It’s the place where my family comes together and that’s the most beautiful part of home. But there are over 100 million people in the world that don’t have a place to call home.”
Dame Helen then adds, “On December 7, 2019, we are hoping for 50,000 people to sleep out in the world’s largest display of solidarity and support for homeless and displaced people. Major sleep out events will be happening in Trafalgar Square, in Times Square and in 50 cities across the world.”
The video concludes with Littlejohn urging viewers to “come and join us… at an official event” or host “your own sleep out.”
On the night itself, Smith will join the crowds camping out in New York’s Times Square, where he’ll read a bedtime story, while Dame Helen will help lull campers to sleep with a tale in London’s Trafalgar Square.
And to celebrate the occasion, the star went out to Jason of Beverly Hills jewelers to get a second one of a kind ring to commemorate his team’s title run.
The jeweler told TMZ the ring, which contains 30 carats of diamonds: “Drake had me fly to Turks and Caicos for an emergency design meeting.
“It’s a championship that’s dear to his heart and he wanted to create an over the top ring that not only paid homage to his city but made a statement above and beyond anything else in history.”
Meanwhile, the Raptors’ rings have a face made of 74 diamonds (to represent the number of team wins during the season), one large diamond, and custom-cut baguette diamonds to make up the Toronto skyline.
The outer edge of the ring is lined with 16 rubies to go with each roster member’s numbers, and the inside of the ring includes personal messages for each player.
There are more than 640 diamonds on each ring – more than any in history.

(AllHipHop News) During the early stages of the 2019 B2K reunion tour, Raz-B suggested former manager Chris Stokes’ presence was the greatest cause of turmoil on the road. However, Fizz is now saying Omarion’s sense of self-importance was a problem as well.
Fizz was the latest guest on VH1’s Brunch With Tiffany digital series. Reality show icon Tiffany “New York” Pollard spoke with the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star about reconnecting with Omarion, Raz-B, and J-Boog for B2K’s “The Millennium Tour.”
“I know it sounds kinda crazy, but I consider my group to be rather dysfunctional. We haven’t really known each other in the past 15 years, so coming back together, trying to re-learn everybody as men… it’s a lot different,” explained Fizz.
The 33-year-old entertainment veteran later added, “It’s a working relationship and it’s a lot of egos involved. If people get rid of those, then maybe we could finish it.” Pollard then asked Fizz which B2K member had the biggest ego. He responded, “Probably, the lead singer… There is no relationship with [Omarion]. It’s just a working relationship.”
There have been reports of tension between the two performers over the fact that Fizz allegedly dated Omarion’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his children, Apryl Jones, while B2K was on tour. The Fizz-Apryl courtship is playing out on the current season of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.
(AllHipHop News) While most of the celebrity news media was mainly just congratulating Nicki Minaj on her recent supposed nuptials to Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, Wendy Williams went a different direction with the story. The daytime talk show host took shots at Minaj’s cosmetic enhancements and reminded her audience of Petty’s past criminal convictions.
“Can you imagine a burgeoning belly with these burgeoning hips? I mean, the plastic of it all. She’s gonna have a big belly and she’s short and she’s got the boobs and the hips,” said Wendy about Nicki Minaj. “I don’t know what [Petty] does for a living. I just know that he did time in jail… he’s a sex offender. Well, she’s no stranger to that because her brother’s in jail for sex offending.”
The TV gossip queen continued, “Well, first-degree manslaughter. Now, [Petty] served seven years in prison, and he’s also a sex offender. Is a manslaughter a killer? Okay, so he’s a killer and a sex offender. Well, Nicki, congratulations.”
Petty, 41, is a level two registered sex offender in the state of New York after being convicted of attempted first-degree rape with a knife in 1995. In 2006, he pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter for a 2002 shooting death and served seven years in prison for that offense.
Minaj’s brother, Jelani Maraj, was found guilty in Nassau County, New York of sexually assaulting his then 11-year-old stepdaughter on multiple occasions. State Supreme Court Justice Robert McDonald denied a motion to have the conviction overturned. Maraj is facing life in prison. Sentencing in that case is scheduled for November 18.

After the Q&A the honorees were presented with personalized plaques to commemorate their achievements in music and entertainment.
AllHipHop had an opportunity to speak with honorees Britney Davis and Victoria Monet about what they are currently working on and any advice they would give to those following in their footsteps.
AllHipHop: What’s next? Who are you working with now Britney?
Britney Davis: Music wise at Capitol Music group, I work with Motown and Quality Control. I’m super excited about the Queen & Slim soundtrack…. On Quality Control, we have Lil Baby, we have City Girls; JT’s free. Really just developing and discovering new artists. I think my background allows me to be a vessel and help these artists develop and cultivate their talent.
AllHipHop: If you could leave a piece of advice for executives that want to follow in your footsteps and budding music artists what pieces of advice would you give?
Britney Davis: I think it’s really the same. Make sure you love it. This is a lot of work. There are going to be days you want to stop and you need a higher purpose or passion to really persevere through those moments and remember why you wanted to do it in the first place.
I tell people all the time that if you aren’t really passionate about it, and you don’t love it, there are so many other things you can do and have a life because this is a lifestyle…You gotta grind and put in the work.
AllHipHop: For those that will be newly joining your fan base who may not be familiar with your work, tell us some of the hits that you’ve written and some of the projects you’ve been a part of.
Victoria Monet: I got my first and second No. 1 this year with “Thank You Next” and “Seven Rings”. In the Hip Hop world, I’ve been featured with Nas, T.I., Meek Mill. Machine Gun Kelly, Chris Brown, and Jhene Aiko…. I’m doing what I love everyday.
AllHipHop: If you could leave off with a piece of advice for somebody who wants to follow in your footsteps, what words of encouragement would you give them?
Victoria Monet: I would say to write things down. I think that that’s a great way to manifest and really plan out your goals…..Your thoughts really become your future and become what you focus on.

(AllHipHop News) Bosses at HBO are heading back to court to contest the decision for their case against the Michael Jackson Estate to go to arbitration over its Emmy-winning “Leaving Neverland” documentary.
The late King of Pop’s estate is attempting to enforce a non-disparagement clause in a 1992 contract, which provided HBO with rights to air a televised concert following the release of Jackson’s album Dangerous.
HBO previously had the case removed to federal court and attacked it as a “transparent effort to bolster their publicity campaign against the documentary.”
However, despite arguing the legal claims are premised on an old agreement that has been fully performed by the parties and thus terminated and is attempting to trample on its First Amendment rights by resurrecting the old contract, U.S. District Court Judge George H. Wu sent the case to arbitration in September.
Now, officials from the network are taking the case to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, at the advice of Judge Wu, although the grounds for the filing remain as yet unknown.
Bryan Freedman, an attorney for the Michael Jackson Estate, slammed the network’s “bogus appeal,” adding: “This appeal, which is its latest Hail Mary attempt, is even more pathetic than all of its other attempts to avoid public scrutiny… Our client will never stop until justice is served.”
Off the rip, he describes himself as “a two-time felon trying to make something of my g###### self.”
Born in Texas but moving to New York and eventually Miami at 10-years-old, the MMG rapper has been with Rozay since he created the label in 2009.
Real name Richard Morales Jr. was originally a member of Rozay’s hip-hop group Triple C’s, who went on to release their debut album titled Custom Cars & Cycles that same year.
Having his own run-ins with the law, Gunplay feels he’d be a lot further in his career if he was able to just steer clear of trouble. Fast forward to 2019, he’s featured on Rick Ross’ 10th studio album Port of Miami 2, on the song “Nobody’s Favorite.”
AllHipHop: How’s tour been with Rozay?
Gunplay: This is my first night on this tour. It’s good, LA is LA. Everybody tough face.
AllHipHop: Can you bring us back to when you first met Rozay?
Gunplay: Had to be about 15 or 16, I’m 40 now. That’s my big brother man. I just kept going to jail, kept f##king up.
AllHipHop: How many times you been to jail?
Gunplay: A bunch, but I never stay long. My longest was 3.5 months, no bond. Armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon. Made the news, but I beat it.
AllHipHop: What’s the biggest lesson you learned from behind bars?
Gunplay: Don’t come back to this s##t, so I try everything not to go back to jail.
AllHipHop: How’s that been?
Gunplay: Good, I ain’t been back. I caught another charge 9 months later but after that, I got on probation for 3 years. I was done with probation in 2015. I haven’t been back in trouble since. 3 years, I ain’t caught no charges in 3 years.
AllHipHop: I actually had a homie that was obsessed with you. What is it about Gunplay that fans love?
Gunplay: ‘Cause I’m raw and have no filter.
AllHipHop: What do you rap about?
Gunplay: I rap about me busting 2 nuts in one rubber. I rap about saving money. I rap about being nobody’s favorite. Ain’t shave. Ain’t bathe. Ain’t behave. Thank God I ain’t in the grave. That kind of s##t, that’s what n##gas f##k wit me for.
AllHipHop: Speaking of, you’re on “Nobody’s Favorite” on Port of Miami 2. Bring us back to that studio session.
Gunplay: Ross called me up about 1am and said “you in Miami?” I said “yeah.” He said “come out to the studio, I got a verse for you. Do a verse for the album.” I said “alright.” I went in there, I was already up all night on heavy cocaine so I recorded it real fast. Vrrrroom! That’s why you hear it just sound like [Gunplay starts rapping fast]. I was just going in. I didn’t breathe, I’m like “yo oh what? You gon’ get what?!”
AllHipHop: What was the dynamic in the room with Ross?
Gunplay: He left. When I got there, he’s like “boy this is it right here, I’ll be right back.” By the time he came back, I left and the record was one.
AllHipHop: What is the vibe when you guys do work together?
Gunplay: We’ve worked together for so long, it’s autopilot. Once he goes, there goes the beat — he might give me a little vibe like “yo start it off like this,” and I’ll be like this. We’ve worked together for over a decade so you know.
AllHipHop: How would you rank Port of Miami 2 out of all the Ross projects?
Gunplay: Oh man, this is probably the second. Port of Miami is the third, but my favorite out of all of them is Black Market. To me, you can just let it play. It got the street s##t, it got everything to it. Black Market is my favorite, I don’t know why but it is.
AllHipHop: What’s your favorite songs off there?
Gunplay: “Carol City,” “Color Money,” “Smile,” every one of them. Every single one of them.
AllHipHop: What’s the best piece of advice Rozay has given you?
Gunplay: Invest in yourself. Focus.
AllHipHop: When can we expect your new album All Bulls##t Aside?
Gunplay: Hopefully I’ll turn it in before the tour’s over. I’m working every day so hopefully, I’ll be done with that and the administrative part. I’ll try to drop around Thanksgiving or something.
AllHipHop: Since you’ve been with Ross so long, how has your relationship evolved over the years as he gets bigger?
Gunplay: It’s always still the same, but I just sit back now and take notes. Learning to invest in myself. A lot of that and staying out the way and staying focused. That’s the number one thing, you have to stay in the studio. You have to create content. You have to have content, that’s currency. That’s everything, man.
AllHipHop: What inspires you in the studio?
Gunplay: What inspires me is knowing that my pen is starting to be like “oh s##t, this n##ga like…” I write. I’m old school man. I’m back in my bag when it comes to my pen, I’m back on my s##t. I got a bunch of records, I’m just waiting for the stars to align. Once the stars align and I get this hit record, I feel like something big is about to happen.
AllHipHop: What’s the reality in being part of the MMG family?
Gunplay: Everybody wants some money from you because they think you got it. I be like “it ain’t for you mutherf##ker!”
AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio?
Gunplay: Cocaine, Remy Martin, marijuana.
AllHipHop: You worry about needing cocaine in the studio?
Gunplay: I don’t worry about needing it, but I always have it. It helps me record fast.
AllHipHop: What about adderall? Adderall is a good replacement.
Gunplay: Adderall is good too, but you can’t drink on Adderall because it cancels it right out immediately. I do the Adderall too and it makes me write real fast too. But then when I was drinking, it went away.
AllHipHop: Who’s in your Top 5?
Gunplay: Jay Z, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and both Baby’s (Da Baby and Lil Baby). Both their a#### are solid to me.
AllHipHop: My homie said you like outdoor activities, is that true?
Gunplay: Yeah, I go boar hunting in Ocala, Florida. You know those big pigs with the horns? I’m just an outdoorsman. I like fishing: sailfish, marlin, mahi-mahi. I eat it after.
AllHipHop: Do you listen to music while you’re hunting?
Gunplay: Nah, I be focused on not getting killed and killing. Hell yeah.
AllHipHop: What do you want your legacy to be?
Gunplay: The n##ga that told it like it was like nobody else. Just brutally honest. I want that honest legacy like “yo, he wasn’t here for all that. He was here to really just say what was on his mind and connect with others.”
AllHipHop: What can fans look forward to?
Gunplay: The next single’s coming next month. Some crack dealing, cocaine cooking. Miami s##t!
AllHipHop: How’s Miami’s cocaine compared to LA’s?
Gunplay: I mean it’s good over here too. But it’s good where I’m at too.
AllHipHop: What’s your favorite part about LA?
Gunplay: Everybody’s straightforward. It’s a real vibe to me with the gangsters and s##t. With the homies, it’s just real s##t. Ain’t no groupie ass s##t going on. There’s less groupies in LA. I don’t see them, they be like real n##ga s##t. But I don’t know, I ain’t been around too long.
